Uncover the secrets of the gods with Lost Omens Divine Mysteries!

The influence of all-powerful deities is felt in every corner of the Lost Omens setting. Whether you're a valorous champion calling the righteous power of your patron down upon wicked foes or a sneaky rogue asking the god of thievery for a blessing on your next heist, faith and the forces behind it are key to every character's identity. Within this volume, you'll find details on the gods and non-deific faiths of the Age of Lost Omens from the perspective of their clergy and lay worshippers. The book also grants a glimpse into the machinations of a god, exploring how a new god rises, why a god takes worshippers in the first place, and what occurs when a god dies.

This 320-page resource for both players and Game Masters is the comprehensive look at all things divine, making it an essential addition to any Pathfinder Second Edition campaign and a remastered update and expansion of the popular Lost Omens Gods & Magic volume! The book updates for all of your favorite Pathfinder Second Edition deities, providing everything you need to know when playing with updated rules found in Pathfinder Player Core and Pathfinder Player Core 2, updating domains, spells, and other mechanics. These include expansions on existing classes like new witch patrons, new archetypes like the Rivethun emissary and powerful mortal herald, and new class archetypes like the battle harbinger option for clerics. The book also includes brand new character options and several additional divine entities never before explored in any Pathfinder reference!

Is that Oloch being the battle harbinger? It looks like Oloch to me.

What kind of reduction in spellcasting do battle harbingers get compared to normal clerics?

Yes, they've been trying to bring back some of the old Iconics for archetypes. Oloch has found a new patron in Genzaeri and is representing the Battle Harbinger, while Sharda is representing the Rivethun Emissary archetype.

I am not familiar with Genzaeri.

Is Rivethun Emissary an ordinary or class archetype? And what are it's initial requirements? I had assumed Sharda would be a shaman practice animist cause they get a spirit familiar.

I'm curious if we will ever get Casandalee article that acknowledges exact nature of her origins from Iron Gods xD
A Casandalee deity article is high on my want-list for an Adventure Path backmatter article, but it has to be at the right time with the right fit for an Adventure Path. Something like this, if I were developing it, would 100% absolutely dive into those origins from Iron Gods.

I really hope for an Nocticula article one day. :) Currently playing a redeemer Champion of Nocticula in PFS.

Is there an option to be a ‘Champion’ of Razmir too, or just a ‘Cleric’?

Genzaeri will be introduced in this book. I don't actually have it yet so all I know is from others' previews. I have seen Genzaeri listed among the gods absorbing Gorum's flock, though.

Rivethun Emmisary, Rivethun Invoker, and... the third Rivethun archetype whose name escapes me are all regular archetypes. I haven't seen their requirements.

Yes, I am obsessed with the iconic characters. And whatever it is that we are calling the archetype characters like Zadim and Trzikhun.

It's a Lost omen book, so no new classes. Only books from the "core" line gets those.

As for Archetypes:
Battle Harbinger (Cleric Archetype that change spellcasting to "wave casting" like Summoner and Magus, and change heal/harm fonts to bane/bless fonts, and give more martial prowess at the cost of casting.

New Champion feats spread across existing causes.

Mortal Herald, lvl 12 general archetype.

3 new Oracle mysteries: Ashes, Blight, Time.

Palatine Detective, Investigator Archetype that have a set Methodology that give access to divine and occult magic (one cantrip of each), and magical feats and feat giving spells as innate daily spells.

Razmiran Priest, general archetype that let you take cleric dedication choosing Razmir, and making the magic it grant occult.

3 Rivethum general Archetypes, Emissary ("bond" with different spirits, can take a spirit familiar), Invoker (can enter a magical trance that give bonus damage and some saving throw, a bit like rage), Involutionist (Gains divine spells granted by spirits, can gain a spirit companion)

New Witch Patrons (and remastered ones): Choir Politic (divine, community themed), Paradox of Opposites (divine, duality themed), Unseen Broker (occult, pacts/bargaining themed), Baba Yaga (Rare, occult, cold animated objects themed), Mosquito Witch (Rare, primal, swarms/insects themed)

Liberty's Edge

Did not expect Remastered Baba Yaga, and especially not in this book, given her take on divinity.

But delighted to get her.

Is she (and the Mosquito Witch) identical to the quick Remastered version or something more evolved ?

I wonder if this new archetype is a result of the Godsrain. Perhaps Razmir now really does have a spark of divinity, where he didn't before.

To me it implies he has his "clerics" trained in occult spell casting to fake it. Pretty much like in 1e, except now we have magic lists separate from just divine and arcane to use.

Baba Yaga's cantrip let you give life to objects and attack people for 2d4 dmg per rank (variable depending on item) or move 25ft instead of attacking on sustains. And the familiar ability is that your familiar Dazzle foes in a 5 foot blast by making reflective snow appear.

Oh, and there's a new special rule that your (any witch, but they specifically point out Baba Yaga) familiar can be an object. It starts with speed of 0, and can't select any abilities related to any kind of speeds until you take a new exclusive familiar ability: Animated. It grant a 25 speed. In exchange, you HAVE to take the construct familiar ability each day, but you ignore the prerequisites.

Mosquito's cantrip target one creature and deal 1d4 piercing damage per ranks with fort save, with sustained sickened 1 on crit fail that cannot be reduced. Familiar ability give concealment to you or allies sharing space with them by surrounding them with a swarm of insects.

The more options from old books they remaster the more my fury at outdated options is quelled but also makes me wonder: what do they plan to put in place of them when the books they're originally from are remastered? Assuming books like Secrets of Magic will get remasters that is, though G&G is getting one so it doesn't seem unlikely. I'm very happy that Time and Pacts Unseen Broker are here but what will become of Dark Archive without them? Or will they be reprinted in that book too to preserve page count? Will there be brand new options in their place? Do these smaller remasters disqualify DA from getting a full dedicated remaster? Or, perhaps more accurately, are small remasters like this an indication that DA was never considered for a remaster and everything from it will be reprinted piecemeal throughout various books? I'm dying to know!

Haha, champions don't even have their full premaster ability set back yet, let alone anything new.

Wait, is Razmir listed with all the other gods in the Deity section? Cause if so, and his special only says you can’t be a Cleric without his archetype, then you CAN be a Champion of Razmir RAW, no?

Obedience Champion of Razmir, please be real… *crosses fingers*
