Will there be a way to get this edition through other stores outside of US or is the only way of getting it via pre-ordering here? I'm outside the US so shipping+customs is a pain.
The special edition hardcovers will be available through all retail channels.
Can you say what channels these are specifically for the UK and Europe? Also hoping that Brexit won't affect shipping to the UK if the distributor is solely EU based. I had some trouble ordering the playtest book through Amazon last time and ended up having to cancel my order due to massive delays and uncertainty if it was an official Paizo seller. I can't wait to get my hands on these books but I can't afford to pay the import tax for American products.

Concur, its $40+USD to get it out to Singapore. My advice would be to keep an eye on bookdepository.com, that's where I get most of my Paizo hard copies.
A question that I haven't seen asked or answered anywhere so far - will there be an option for a GenCon pickup for preorders? There are parts of this that I don't want to have to wait to get home in order to be able to peruse.

Sara Marie has said that they're yet to confirm whether they will be able to do GenCon pickup.

Thank you. I read through most of the product pages and couldn’t find an answer, so I appreciate you giving me one. I guess I’ll wait To put in my order until I know one way or the other.
One more question that comes off of this though- will the deluxe hardcover be available at GenCon, or only as a preorder?
Do the Deluxe copies hold up better to use than the standard do? I had to to cover my 1st edition with duck tape to hold it to gather. So if the deluxe will hold up better, I think it would be worth the extra money.
I haven't noticed any difference between the deluxe hardcovers and the regular ones. If anything, I think I'd prefer a standard cover if durability is an issue - the deluxe ones are all one colour, so dings and scratches show up more than on the versions with artwork, Imo.
Will future books, in the vein of Bestiary 2, Advanced Player's Guide, and so on, come in deluxe editions? I don't want to start a faux leather collection only to have to downgrade later for the sake of aesthetics.

Based on previous precedents, it is highly doubtful that any books beyond the initial books would be printed in deluxe editions.

The Gamemastery Guide seems to be getting a deluxe edition as well. So, all the books in the line have been announced with deluxe edition, and I suppose their reception will have a huge impact on future deluxe releases.
I hope to see an Advanced Players Guide and that it also comes with a deluxe edition. Beyond that I would be already satisfied with a deluxe set of "main" core books.
Just preordered mine.
Now just hurry up and make a pocket edition so I can lend it out. Because I'm not letting anyone get their grubby paws on my Deluxe edition!
I was gonna just buy it at GenCon, but decided against because that's one extra thing i'd have to lug around throughout the trip, as well as lug it home. Just my thoughts.
