So it's Tuesday...did authorizations spawn yet for peoples like Skeld or others? Cause I want to see more about this book.
Today's blog will let you take a peek at the book. ;)

The Ioun Kineticist is basically an aether kineticist who psychically throws Ioun stones at her enemies (and then gets them back). She starts out with three dull gray ones in a "cloud" and can add more as she gains levels. At high levels, an Ioun Kineticist can improve the enhancement bonuses granted by the Ioun stones that normally grant a +2 enhancement bonus to an ability score.
A sorcerer with the Vestige bloodline starts out with a bonded object (as a wizard) and can eventually use her magic to cause broken and destroyed objects in her possession to function as though they were in better shape. The top level abilities let her bring back a dead ancestor for a few rounds or create a mindscape.

Thank you! Intriguing... both things I’m looking forward to seeing the final versions on. (Vestige as much for VMC as anything. Sounds like a great thematic fit for Occultist!)

Would you be willing to share what the Jistkan Artificer does? And is that mechanical arm we saw on the blog post mechanically represented anywhere in the book?
The Jistkan Artificer is a magus archetype whose primary feature is the replacement of one of his natural arms with a "golem arm". That should answer both of your questions.

Awesome! Thanks.

An Antiquarian prepares spells from the alchemist list using a collection of trinkets/relics instead of a formula book.
The Jinyiwei is a wisdom based investigator who casts spells as an inquisitor instead of creating extracts as an alchemist.
The Tekritanen Arbiter specializes in diplomacy and languages.

Thanks! Sounds really cool. I like the flavor of the Jinyiwei best, at the moment. It will require further investigation, of course.

Hm.....well that sounds rather lackluster.....
Can you give us any more ?

He does indeed cast spells.

There is that "Personal Resistance" ability that enables the kineticist to gain the resonant powers of some (and eventually all) of her Ioun Stones as though they were in a high capacity Wayfinder. Anything else I can say would involve more mechanical details than seem proper for me to reveal.

Hmm. My initial reaction was that I'd have to ban the archetype because of my standing ban on resonant powers, but it seems that they've balanced some of the broken ones, and the remaining broken options don't have synergy with the Kineticist class.

Ah, thank you! I have a friend who will be pleased to hear that.

OK, THAT's more what I was looking for :P
If your comfortable answering this....do they "have" to attack with their Ioun stones ? or can they still hurl other objects ?

Always the stones.

Exactly. In the Age of Lost Omens, astrological predictions work about as well in Golarion as they do in our world. Given that this is a Mesmerist archetype, I think you can see that the focus of their magic is not divination.

any one can spill the beans for magus archype. like what we give up and what we gain.
You give up one of your arms, some of your spells per day, and your 3rd level arcana.
Arcane pool and spellstrike are altered.
You gain Golem Arm, Improved Unarmed Strike, Empowered Arm, Unarmed Spellstrike, and access to additional arcana usable only by this archetype.
