Worg Natural Trip and AoO Question

Rules Questions

So yesterday I played a really fun encounter involving a gaggle of goblins 3 Worgs and 1 Goblin King Wererat. Everything ended up fine if not a bit hairy for a time as 3 out of 4 of our group ended up on the ground within the second round of combat. Here is where my question comes into play. The Worgs would attack then get their +trip. Every time my character attempted to stand up it invoked an AoO which the Worg in front of used to attack +trip. I thought I had seen somewhere either reading the books or scanning the forums that Paizo had attempted to fix the whole never ending tripping chain. After doing some research last night I saw several posts indicating that you can not trip a prone person though nothing specific to tripping a person while attempting to stand back up. I know this may seem clear to you gurus but If you would be so kind as to clarify this for me it would be appreciated.

1. Can you re-trip a character attempting to stand up from the prone condition.

2. Does the Worg's odd attack then consequent +trip alter your above ruling.

I have an instinct as to what the answer's will be but if you guys could give me a more definitive ruling I would be really grateful.

1) No.
2) No.

The character is still prone when the attack of opertunity occures. Still suffering the -4 penalty to ac versus melee attacks. After the AoO(s) are resolved then character stands up.

This is the functionally the same as regular AoOs you trigger from movement. Where you are still considered in the square you exited to trigger the AoO for purposes of flanking and what not.

And since nothing about the Worgs trip attack prevent movement (in comparison to if the attacks caused paralysis or something) the character can stand after the attacks resolve.

Thanks for the quick response.
