Looking at probably a human operative.

Looking at Mystic. Maybe Lashuntas or Kasathas.

Dot. Will work something up after work.

What circus would be complete without the quintessential strong man?

Ever since I built a Qadiran-born rogue for a wrath of the righteous game a while back, I've been wanting to try Legacy of Fire. It's also one I don't see recruited for often.

I'm interested in submitting Pia Verlane. Previously submitted for another attempt, so I will need to adjust her stats/gear for the different requirements, but her backstory stands.

Human Oracle of the Occult, follower of the Eldest: Magdh, and Cursed with a Shattered Psyche.

Divination and necromancy focus (fear, cold and shadows manipulation, not the walking dead kind), but also skilled in healing (both magical and non).

Question to GM:

Shattered Psyche

Your mind is crowded with dozens of voices, fragmented snippets of your past lives.
I would like to re-flavor this as instead of HER past lives, she gets snippets of every one who has died in the city. This flavor change just ties into her mystery as well as some of her spell choices, like Ears of the City. It doesn't change any mechanic.

Plotting out a Ratfolk Scavenger Rogue with ties to Khonnir Baine.

I think I have an oracle packed away in mothballs that would just need a few adjustments.

Have a few ideas for a halfling oracle, with the racial community guardian archtype. Or maybe a gnome elemental oracle. Let me see what I can come up with.

Both sound interesting, but I would lean toward the anthropomorphic one if I had to choose.

He states using Pathfinder Vintage, with that nothing published after 2013.
Warpriest (and my orphaned Investigator I'd have loved to submit) are from Advanced Class Guide, which was published in Aug 2014. Therefor invalid classes for this campaign.

While caster stats in truth would be crazy high, their physicals would be insanely low. Someone who only had a 10 str would now have a 4 as RAW. They would be even more "glass cannon" so it's not that much of an advantage to be caster over melee. Melee would just have to fight smarter not harder, casters would need to take even more precautions to not get damaged. Either way, I think it'd be a fun experiment.

So brought the scenario up to my regular game group, they love the idea and have been brainstorming ideas all morning.

Now I really want to make a blind ranger/hunter with a seeing eyedog.

Ooo, this sounds delicious. Would have to find an alchemist to make us some lumbago ointment or a dentist to make the shifter-type dentures for their natural-bite form.

Just under the wire. Got Dagmar's backstory finished. It is now posted in her profile.

Almost done with Dagmar Tharnhammer. Crunch is complete but working on the backstory etc.

Working on Dagmar: Shaman (Speaker for the Past), Cook and wields a mean cleaver.

I present Montajay Meadowcreek, her friends call her Monty. A Halfling Cryptic Scholar Investigator.

Monty loves diversity. Different people, different creatures, different food. Everything different just make the world more interesting. Her favorite is creatures. The mythological, the strange and unique, even aberrations all are fascinating to her. What makes them tick, how do their unique abilities work.

Growing up, she read every old copy of Pathfinder bestiaries she could get her hands on. But always wondered if their could be more details, more info.

One day a gnome friend approached Monty with an idea for his greatest invention: The Encylcopedia Gnomanica. And he wanted Monty's help. He wants her to write the entries for creatures.

Monty has come to Belhaim by way of rumors. Rumors of kobolds in the tower rubble, wings heard at night, something hiding out in the swamp. All these rumors have Monty heading to Belhaim at once, her curiosity peaked. What is out there?

I could do eithe.

Although I'll admit to hearing a dwarven female voice in my head from a Professional Butcher/Cook, "Och, I'd betta' go with ye lads, otherwise yer likely to starve to death."

Sounds intriguing.

I've had a sanguine sorcerer dhampir I built awhile ago, just need to adjust stats and fine tune a few things. Will likely go with the Subject of Study trait, enemy vampires.

As the daughter of a noblewoman, Daviana had a pretty easy childhood, for a dhampir. Her mother was turned just before her birth and hid her vampirism for many years. Eventually, like all secrets do, it was revealed and her mother killed. Not by peasants or humans, as in the case of most of these stories, but by the vampire who had sired her.

Daviana has spent much of her mother's former wealth funding others to deal with vampires and other undead scourges. However, she herself constantly hears the call of the blood. In lands like Ustalav, however, toeing the line between human and monster is not only required for her own sanity, but in order to avoid the end of someone else's pointy stake.

She respected Professor Lorrimor, he never looked at her as a monster. Yes, he found her a fascinating study subject, but also a friend. She is deeply saddened by his loss and has left her hidden comforts to brave exposure to pay her respects.

Daviana is a Lawful Neutral necromancer. Focusing on blood, cold and negative energy spells. She actually dislikes full undead so doesn't create any of her own.

I think I'll keep it.

I have a fair amount of experience with mythic, very little with gestalt, but this does sound intriguing. Any of the listed APs would be good, with personal preference to Mummy's.

@Gisele: Neat! Love the Void concept.

However, you too seem to be missing an ability point, a start of 13, 15, 12, 14, 12, 10 is worth 19 points. (My inner optimizer just can't sleep).

Starting stats were 13,13,12,16,12,10. Human racial to Dex and level 4 mod make it 13,16,12,16,12,10. The 2 16's both to 18 with ABP.

Good news it Gisele Anjara is coming along nicely and I hope to have something to post tonight. Her 'personal representation' card has changed from my original idea of the Foreign Trader to The Wanderer.

Bad news is now with all this talk of bunnys and bears and tengus (oh my!) I now wish she could be a centaur. OK only part of me, that would require a whole new backstory re-write and then I'd probably change cards again.

EDIT: Hmm, maybe I'll just give her a horse. Cause human+horse=centaur. Right?!

Interested. I've always liked the monsterous races.

If we can double the classes already existing, then I wonder if I can make a half-magus (card caster), half-witch (cartomancer). Mostly magus, though :)
Isn't there a Magus archtype that can Hexes like a witch?

Yes, and if I recall it stacks with Card-Caster, the Hexcrafter.

I have a card caster magus i'm currently playing in a live Jade Regent game and loving her. I've always wanted to run or play the Harrow module, so would definately be up for it. I'd love to try an alternate magus. I have played alot of varisians, be fun to find a harrower called from another region or race.

EDIT: The Foreign Trader card would be her personal representation.

I've been toying with a Dwarven Besmaran Cleric build for a while now, let me see if I can get her fleshed out a bit.

My friends and I generally just take straight die roll on whatever is rolled. However, you can always request for a GM roll after you see your result. The thing is, you are stuck with the GM roll if you do this, ever if it is worse than your personal roll.

Most will ask for GM roll only if they get a 1 or 2. One session, I had one guy ask me for a reroll on a 6 of 10, I got him a 10 on the GM roll. Next guy asked for a reroll on a 2 of 8. I rolled him a 1.

I once ran a twisted fairy tales adventure where the party had to find and destroy the source of the "twistedness". The three billy goats gruff were in cahoots with the troll under the bridge extorting money and robbing travellers. The seven dwarves were duergar purveyors of illegal substances - Druggy, Thuggy, Cranky, Boozey and so on. Snow White was their evil gang leader. Hansel and Gretel had taken over the witch's kidnapping racket. And so on.

I ended up doing a combination scavenger hunt & maze.

See the demon lords weren't too happy about these mere human's winning the Bar Crawl Event last year, and the Demon Lord of Labyrinths plopped them down inside. The maze was full of past Scavenger Huning groups (or the remaining demented survivors) and other denizens. The "party" they encountered on drow, duergars, gnolls, & goblins, who at the last minute I decided to name after their Real Life names (and evil versions of their characters) they got a kick out of it, as I had them mirroring EXACTLY the players actions at at the exact same time * initiative roll. Lead to some very very funny moments. Oddly enough, the bard was last to die!

But Gallo, I do say, you have such an evil mind, I will definitely keep this idea in reserve.

They are currently following the Carrion Crown adventure path (almost finished with book 4) but I'm not restricting it to there. Last time I had them deifically transported to a small town with alot of bars next to a big oversized football stadium setup so the crowd could watch the bar crawl. Could have been set anytime/anywhere.

I'm looking for a single one-shot "commercial break" from the normal adventure line just for the one game session.

I would like to keep the setting more standard fantasy, instead of say Outerspace or 2014 New York. But I could be convinced otherwise.

Hi all.

Last year for my birthday I took my level 3 players on a side-quest. This was shortly after the release of the movie The World's End and I had the idea to send them on a competitive team challenge with each team having a different god being the sponsor. Cayden's team was otherwise indisposed, so he grabbed the first all human adventuring party he could find (my PCs) and transported them to the opening ceremonies of the 12th Annual Brewfest Bar Crawl. My PC's competed against a few other 'teams'. Dwarves, Elves, Demons, etc. I took them thru all the bars from the movies, each bar had a theme (based on name) and/or event, and even an ambush or 2 from other teams cheating. The group all chugged their brews, made (or failed) their fort saves, and they were off to next bar. It was immense fun.

This year I'm trying to think of something to do, but my work schedule has been crazy psychotic lately and I'm down to 3 1/2 days to think of something fun & crazy.

So I am putting this out here looking for Help! I am leaning towards either a scavenger or treasure hunt. Or possibly something like the old Wacky Races or Laf-a-lympics cartoons. Or any other deliciously evil idea you delightful people can help me with.

STATS:
2-3 hours play time
All human party
Level 10 characters
Paladin, Bard, Rogue, Sorcerer, Gunslinger, Cleric
All are experienced gamers with very creative ways around problems
