For the morning's activities at least, if we do a 3 each split it might be a bit better, and safer if we encounter problems. From your breakdown, looks like Arthoruis, Nasrin & Yshara will be best to start the research while Alana, myself and Dragomir go a-wandering. If we encounter trouble that's a pretty strong mini-party, if we can't talk our way out of it. 3 people groups also shouldn't attract too much unwanted attention from the locals. We could hit up the sheriff and the blood. And unless those findings change our overall direction, then the other group could hit up the magic shopkeeper after lunch while we take over researching (probably taking Alana too, and if someone wants to stay badly still leaves 3). This also get's everyone "out" in town. Show the locals we are friendly and mean no harm? This gives a bunch of time to check out the rest of the professor's papers, maybe find another lead. Then based on all findings from there, decide if we want to hit the church before or after the crypt. Have that discussion over dinner.

If Hogun really has vanished, you might also be able to get one of the other applicants and have then been following after us for some reason and finally catch up, since we have barely started this endeavor.

I'm an accountant by trade. Live in Arizona. Only been doing the tabletop thing about 4 years. Before that was mostly an MMO kind of gal. Always wanted to try tabletop though, but never knew where to find it growing up. After a home robbery where my gaming rig was stolen, during a time I couldn't afford to replace it, I found tabletop as a way to alleviate my boredom. Haven't done any serious online gaming since.
Disclaimer: ** This is not PFS, just for fun ** Wanted to see if there was an interest in an idea I had with a friend for pbp game(s). I am wanting to 'get my feet wet' on pbp GM'ing on a smaller scale before attempting any Adventure Paths. I was looking at possibility of doing one of the modules, but those are extremely short. And what I had in mind for recruitment seemed (to me) to be alot of work for a potentially short(ish) game. My evolved idea is this: The group is a bunch of Pathfinder applicants (around level 5-6). Everyone has passed background checks, met qualifications, been recommended by an existing pathfinder, etc. You just need your field test. The 1st Module will be that test. Once completed, everyone becomes full fledged Pathfinders and each additional module ran is new assignments for your team. If the group as a whole wants to keep doing another module, we do more. If the group decides they are done at some point we can stop. This leaves no real long term feelings of obligation like it would for an adventure path as people's schedules change, etc. It even allows itself for easy replacements between modules.
I have a card caster magus i'm currently playing in a live Jade Regent game and loving her. I've always wanted to run or play the Harrow module, so would definately be up for it. I'd love to try an alternate magus. I have played alot of varisians, be fun to find a harrower called from another region or race. EDIT: The Foreign Trader card would be her personal representation. |
