Dwarf love is partially based on the luxuriousness of one's beard, right? :)

Like I said, I'd be for either. Never get to play drow, but that's not really a big factor for me.

Hi! I'll throw a marker on the drow side.

At this point, I'm leaning towards running both. Unfortunately, I'm leaving tonight for a wedding on the other side of the country. I won'the be able to get a recruitment thread up and running for a few days.

I could do eithe.

Although I'll admit to hearing a dwarven female voice in my head from a Professional Butcher/Cook, "Och, I'd betta' go with ye lads, otherwise yer likely to starve to death."

I have a dwarven wizard whose crafting focused that'd be the odd one in the family.

Count becomes: 11 Dwarf, 8 Drow, 5 Both.

If you can schedule it, I think you could safely run two tables of this.

That is a total of 24 players. He can run 4 tables if he wants to, though having absolutely nothing else to do might the only way to manage that.

However, an all Dwarf campaign is likely to be short.

Of course it is

Excellent. I shall arrive appropriately groomed.

That is the plan

But honest. No tall tales.

You seem to have a low tolerance for puns.

I'd love this, either side really.

If I have to pick I'd say Drow, mostly because I'm not that big a fan of the stereotypical Dwarves which the other side is bound to be filled with.

I would honestly love to try a monk out so I think that would be my plan. Or a ranger because I could have a furry friend and I love those. I did do some reading on the Drow and they seem like they could be a lot of fun. Just as easily typecasted as a party of Dwarves. But the Dwarves have those majestic beards! Arrgg both would be so much potential fun.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Just got home from Virginia. Recruitment threads will be up tomorrow!

I am one hundred percent down for a Dwarf campaign. I have had a hankering for it for awhile now to play a Dwarf.

Hey GM ROBOGEISHA, I'm voting dwarf if for no other reason than so we can all work on our accents...

Took me a bit longer than anticipated, but here are the recruitment threads for both games:

Sons of Dammerhall: Dwarf Throne of Night

Lords of the Azathyr: Drow Throne of Night
