Hey folks, sorry I vanished on you. I had a bad case of very resistant pneumonia. My various meds started interacting and things spiraled pretty far. I'm back home and sorta working, but I think I will stay out of PbP for a while. At least until I more fully recover. Maybe we will meet again in the future. Again, sorry to go AWOL on you.

Sorry folks, RL got in the way again.

Looking back, my post at the very beginning of the scenario apparently got eaten. I had handed my wand of protection from evil to Shen and my wand of remove fear to Belladonna with a request to please use them at any time that seems appropriate on any of the group. Maybe you can hit one of us before we get too far away.

I'm intentionally not looking, but it seems like I remember the intelligent oozes being psionic and having life sense or something like that. Hoping I'm remembering wrong or that was just a one off for that other module.

Sounds fine to me. We can always start shooting if they come closer. However if they follow him down the hole, we may have a hard time helping TB.
If you are ok with that risk TB, I'm ok with the plan.

Sounds like you shamans will need the thunder of the gods to fight them. I will try arrows. Many, many arrows. He backs up and prepares his bow.

If it corrodes weapons, it probably isn't affected by acid. Resistant to cold and heat. So electricity, sonic, force, or negative energy damage. Or you could try to do high enough damage to go beyond the heat and cold resistance.

Attack and a 5' step. Waiting until after Two Blades so he has a flank for a sneak attack. Folks please try to focus fire on 1 at a time. The DR and damaging our weapons is going to make this tough.

I have heard the keep was built by a necromancer that intended to turn all of Absalom into undead thralls. It didn't work out for him and the keep was razed 200+ years in the past.

Hadanka is, so far, a pretty vanilla barbarian. Strong, hits hard, moderate AC, etc...

+1 cold iron scythe & comp long bow
Can switch to silver warhammer and shield if need blunt or silver
rage powers are intimidating glare and no escape
feats are dodge, mobility, and combat reflexes

Should probably be near the front, but no tank or scout am I.

A large half-orc, clearly a primitive Mwangi tribesman. He has the furs and tattoos to make his origins clear. Though he does appear to have embraced modern equipment. Including, of all things, a wickedly sharp looking combat scythe.

I do not like the thought of leaving in place an alter to that demented deity. I want to shatter it. But how...

GM, are these tunnels just dug into the ground or actually carved into the bedrock? Now that we know where the alter is, could we just dig through the wall from this side and get to the altar that way?

To Shen, Ah... Shen... That 'water' seems to be eating your legs. Might want to get out of it.

To Ledt, I suppose I could try. But it seems like I would slip before I got all the way there and back. Don't know if you ever tried that before in real life. I did as a teenager after watching some movie and getting into a stupid argument. It is really tough, even on something regular with grip like a dry brick wall. I can't imagine doing it on a wet slimy cave wall. Well not without a Spider Climb spell or something.

How deep is the 'water'? Bodies don't really stack all that well.
