I don't get it either. But here's a brand new BossLogic pic of a possible look at Tatiana playing Walters and Shulkie. (♡‿♡)
Let's catch up on what's been announced so far: Season 1 will be 6 episodes
And just announced today, Tatiana Maslany is our new Jennifer Walters. {vanishes again}

You've always struck me more as a Michael Ansara Mr. Freeze than Captain Cold. And I don't think Ice's or Killer Frost's costumes are your style.

It's not exactly a surprise, but now the pilot won't be alone: Variety.com: "‘Batwoman,’ ‘Katy Keene,’ ‘Nancy Drew’ Ordered to Series at CW" And here's an animated teaser (Twitter)

With the Fox deal complete, the Fantastic Four would be much easier to drop in to the MCU than the huge cast of the X-Men. Plus Skrulls are already in now. If there's time travel in A:E, that so quickly following the Snappening might be the cosmic signal/ripples that signals Kang, Annihilus, or even Galactus ("What the Hela is going on around C-53?!"). IMO, I'd be neat if post-Endgame, an interdimensional ship appears/crashes on the MCU Earth and the Fantastic Four disembarks at their new home. (Maybe that interdimensional voyage is "The Signal"?) Whatever the crossover plot arc for Phases 4 & 5 is revealed to be, all I want* is the heroes to need the help of Victor Von Doom. A Doom whose origin isn't locked to the FF, but he is still obsessed with them, especially Reed. (* OK, I still also want Tatiana Maslany as Veranke.)
Werthead is right, season 2 is better (and possibly weirder) than season 1. Lots of fun & funny homages to other pop culture, especially the Donner Superman stuff. Tudyk is kicking ass, both as Dangerboat and as Mr. Nobody over in Doom Patrol (which is also weird and excellent, but in a completely different way than The Tick).
Yeah, Micronauts, Rom the Spaceknight, M.A.S.K., and Visionaries are all under Hasbro's full control. There was an effort a couple years ago by Hasbro to incorporate them all into a shared universe with G.I. Joe and Transformers, but I'm not sure if that is still happening or not. (There were rumors that the remains/wreckage of the dead Decepticons from the Bumblebee movie would be the basis to spin off a M.A.S.K. film, but I'm not sure how much truth there was in that.) Marvel does own most of the non-toy settings and characters they created for the old Micronauts and Rom comics, but I don't know where that line of demarcation is. Last year, Kevin Feige or Peyton Reed said the MCU Quantum Realm is basically the Marvel comics' Microverse minus the Micronauts characters.
Hopefully the 2-year non-compete runs from Netflix's cancellation date to the future air/premiere date on the new channel/service. If that's the case, Marvel could start writing and filming during the embargo as long as the series doesn't debut on Disney+ (or Hulu, or wherever) before the 2 year limit. It'd be nice to see lawyer Jenn Walters take on Murdock & Nelson in court.

Just need a Xzibit Skrull cameo. This would also be a nice plot seed to plant in Captain Marvel, set in the 90s, before building toward a Secret Invasion event and/or Avengers 5 in 2020/1. Edit: And if they actually do Secret Invasion, can we get Tatiana Maslany as Queen Veranke?

I read once (but now I can't find it) that Skrulls the race were always considered shared IP between Fox and Marvel/Disney, but the Super-Skrull Kl'rt & Super-Skrull variants, Lyja, the Cow Skrulls, and other characters introduced and/or mainly associated with the Fantastic Four remained licensed to Fox. Skrulls such as Anelle, Hulkling (a half-Skrull) and Xavin remained Marvel's, but they couldn't reference the Super-Skrull process (meaning Xavin wouldn't have her/his SS powers) and some other FF-specific events. But I am not Shulkie, so my legal expertise is questionable. This is all timely, as Dark Phoenix has been strongly rumored to have the Skrulls in it too. But whether they are actually the Skrulls, or modified Shi'ars, or some other shapeshifters... who knows.

Yeah, WTF? Gluing a dead Wasp to your palm and slapping people on the head would provoke the considerable wrath of Hank Pym, if not all the MCU.

Like Grant Gustin (Flash), Rose has always been on the slim side. She held her own physically against Keanu Reeves in the second Wick film, so I imagine she'll do fine holding up the physical side of embodying Batwoman.
We have our new Batwoman: [Variety] Ruby Rose Cast as Batwoman for CW. Rose played Stella in Orange Is the New Black and Ares in John Wick: Chapter 2.
Sources confirm Margot Robbie is producing and starring in the upcoming Birds of Prey set in the current DC Comics film universe. The movie will feature Black Canary, Huntress, Cassandra Cain, Renee Montoya as The Question and Robbie reprising her role as Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad. The (a?) currently unnamed villain they will be facing "is a Batman character never before seen on the big screen." No additional casting has been announced. Birds of Prey is set to be directed by Cathy Yan from a script written by Christina Hodson.
So, Larson confirmed via her Twitter that principle filming is complete for Captain Marvel. Nothing surprising, just a photo of a signed clapboard and a calendar with some doodling... wait, is that a doodle of her cat Chewie in the trailing space saucer?
The next phase of filming is now moving to New Orleans. Perhaps Lashana Lynch's currently unnamed role will be Monica Rambeau after all? Ant-Man and The Wasp releases July 6th. Is it too much to hope we might get a Captain Marvel teaser trailer with it too?
