I blame Cosmo for the Nineties and Noughties Megamix someone decided ought to soundtrack our workday a couple of days ago. I thought I'd never have to listen to 'Spaceman' by Babylon Zoo or 'I Wanna Be The Only One' by Eternal (that second key-change... agh agh agh agh agh) ever again, but I was very wrong indeed.

How bad is it? did you have that bad eye for long?

I'm 44 yrs old. I started wearing glasses in 2nd grade with one real lens and one fake. I switched to a single contact lens in 3rd grade.

At this point my left eye is at -8.75 while my right is a -4.5.

Using the thinnest material available my left lens is about 3/8" thick.

Er... I blame Cosmo that you're having any troubles at all. While the difference is HUGE, any decent glasses place should be able to deal with that.

Says the man at -10.5/-11.75...

Normal glasses, yes, with restrictions on the shape of the frames. Polarized sunglasses also adds "no rimless or semi-rimless frames" to the list of restrictions or "the polarization layer will peel off". The brands the store had available came with their own restrictions on top of that.

Like I said, went through 7 different rejected frames before I ran out of patience and got a refund.

OK, I feel sorry for you, those guys are pretty douchey as well for not advising you (better?).

@NobodysHome, your eyesight is almost as bad as mine.

I have a habit of standing directly under the ceiling fan when I take off a shirt/top/blouse. When I did it today, I stretched my arms directly up and put my hands into the rotating fan blades. My knuckles are still sore. So, thanks Cosmo.

But what I want to really blame Cosmo for is that this isn't anything new. Despite repeatedly making the same painful mistake once or twice a year for literally decades now (ever since that growth spurt between junior and senior years of high school) I still apparently can't learn the lesson not to do this! Why Cosmo, why?!

As a kid, and a small kid to boot, I always tried to grab onto ceiling fan blades, expecting something fairly exciting, and cartoonish.

When I finally succeeded I was disappointed to find out that my fall to the floor with the broken fan blade was anything but exciting, though it was definitely cartoonish.

And lesson learned, next time I'm using a grappling hook.

I want to thank Cosmo...I know strange...but hear me out,

When I made the last post my life was miserable on all fronts...like I was facing multiple serious problems putting me under stress and depression.

But since that post things have happened that restore my hope and I am now excited by somethings. The bad is still there but now I have some good thing to counterbalance it.

So my thinking is Cosmo in his mercy did not only ignored me but focused on some people who were...not helping things.

See Cosmo is not all bad.

One of the things on my bucket list is to swing across the room on a chandelier while dueling with a crowd of the Cardinal's minions. However, I know that if I did this a) the chandelier would break and b) that skewering blameless administrative staff of the Roman Catholic Church is generally frowned upon, and both of those things are Cosmo's fault.

I don't know what this term, "fav happy", actually means. Google is no help.

I blame Cosmo that Cosmo could not find an answer to his question.

Basically, I clicked the little ♡ to too many of that person's posts/comments and I had only recently started following them. I did not know that each ♥ notifies that person. I guess about two dozen notifications was their breaking point on that particular day... so, they blocked me.

You're just making Twitter more appealing.

I'm being sent to the Virginia office again. I'm being sent there with a primary mission of cleaning a room that 3 other people made a mess of. And the on-site technician that was there quit last year and won't be replaced. Ever.

I'm so happy that my company is a secret subsidiary of Paizo and that Cosmo has so much pull here.

Figurative or literal? (Gods know I've had IT react like I created a crime scene with my efforts to "fix it myself", for which I'm happy to blame being tech-obtuse and Cosmo (for the individual problem and for making me tech-obtuse).

Whelp, after finally finishing the very awesome Beyond the Pool of Stars I wanted to read it’s followup, Through the Gate in the Sea.

But someone apparently stole my copy (I’m reminded of why I stopped reading for awhile). Or I may have misplaced it somewhere but I have a case specially for the Tales novels so I don’t think that’s likely.

Regardless, I Blame Cosmo I just noticed now and have to wait for my next Subscription to get the book again.
