I cannot commit so many characters right now but who knows what the future holds.

Oh. Mel responds, she then starts walk in front of Djalos, walking backward so she can see him, that really isn't much fun. you wanna hang around with us for a while, maybe we can un-suppress them?she stops him by placing a hand gently on his shoulder, we can start small, you know, like a smile? she tries to get a smile from him, making some funny faces and such.
Mel follows Djalos, I've never met anyone that had to suppress their emotions. Why were you taught to do that? Mel asks wondering about this new acquaintance. As they go along, Mel spots a flier that lying about. she quickly grabs it as she walks on. after a quick read, she smiles and tucks it away in her pocket.
Mel looks to Arthur, this isn't gonna be as easy as I hoped. I wonder if this guy has any emotion at all. kind of reminds me of your android friend, except he has more personality. She tries to whisper to him. turning to her new "employer" lets find this Adon fellow and see what we can do to help. glancing at Arthur's plate, she grabs some food off of it, your not gonna finish all of that are ya? It probably not good for ya anyway.
Arthur can be found rather easily in the cafeteria Mel slides up beside Arthur, Hey, watcha got planned for today? I met this guy here that needs some sort of technical help. you up for a bit of a challenge?
With a new purpose to save someone, or something, heck she doesn't even know the details of what she is supposed to figure out; Mel heads over to find Arthur. A quick zap to the wall to activate the arrows from her sonic device and she is off.
"I doubt the current crisis is universe level, although it could potentially cause a regional or planetary level apocalypse," Djalos says drolly. "Do you believe you have the ability to contain an antimagical force technologically without tapping into magical energies?"
Mel thinks a bit on this. ya know, one person's magic ia another's science. this most obvious thing would be a klien field, but I would really need to know more on the particulars. also I will need my assistant, a Mr. Arthur Barren. just give me a minute to get dressed and I'll be right with you. She turns and closes the door and puts on her school uniform. guess my work is never done. she mentions as she returns to Djalos. well lets get going then shall we.
"Uh, yeah. Hang on." She leaned back and called out, "Mel! Someone to see you! Dunno who it is. He's got some kind of blindfold on."
Mel puts things back in order as best she can, being careful not to damage anything, for me? Is he cute? she asks as she heads to the door. I'm Mel, Ya got another universe for me to save? or is this more of like a social visit. she adds, checking out the visitor
Mel lowers her guard, I think your right, My ship kind of does the same thing I mean Susan's ship. not mine but I wish I had one though
Mel lowers the teddy bear (and her guard) at Morrivan's comment huh? hey your right! never realized that before. Are we caught in some dimensional rift? maybe that leak from the vortex didn't close right. Mel looks about a little confused but the "gears in her head" are turning as she tries to find some scientific explanation.
Mel responds to the water tossed at her with another pillow, stolen from another bed. but this time Mel gets up and tries to sneak up on her target to give her a good boof on the head.Morrivan has her head under the covers, so she totally misses Melody sneaking up on her until the other girl bops her in the head with a pillow. She sits up, throwing off the covers. "Oh, if that's how it's going to be, you're on!" she said with a grin, picking up her pillow and swinging it at Melody. Mel barely regained her balance after she hit Morrivan when the counter-hit came, causing mel to stumble back almost falling over. she quickly grabs a stuffed teddy bear that happened to be within reach, holding it up as a shield.
Sorry all, I was messing around with my tardis again, looks like there was a small glithch in the time-space vortex.... its all fixed now....I think.... Oh crap I never saw that before.... gotta go....

Mel rolls over in her bed, pulling the blanket over her head to try and block any light. a groan of "I don't wanna get up" can be heard from under the blanket.
Mel was still in bed by 8am, she simply rolled over and covered her head with more blankets. Hoping that nobody will bug her, but a part of her knows that will not be the case. So she enjoys the short respite while she can.
Mel feels safe as Arthur carries her to the roof. Once there, Mel settles in a safe distance from the edge. after a moment Mel turns to Arthur, the view is beautiful.
could you let me know the songs? I want to make sure I didn't have anything overlapping with plans for Mel. well assuming Mel actually does get to play again that is... seems like it never pans out sometimes.
The mention of Kai instantly turns the smug grin on Arthur's face into a grimace"I'm sorry" he says as he holds out his arms for her to be carried Mel steps closer, lets go then, ok?
Arthur smiles and shakes his head "it's fine, I can make you another, maybe we can even improve on the design! And until then you are welcome in my arms" Mel shyly smiles at Arthur's request. Just so you know, I still am getting over Kai's death. but it is nice to have people I can talk to about it. she steps closer, take me to the roof, please.

Mel lets Arthur escort her through the cafeteria, picking out some various sandwiches, and trying to find something Arthur likes. always checking for a sign of approval from him. she keeps a smile on her face though something does weigh heavy on her, and it is difficult to hide. Arthur, can we eat outside? It's been a while since I enjoyed fresh air. she asks glancing out a window.
Mel yells back to Ginni, Well your always welcome wherever I'm at, and anyone that disagrees will have to answer to me. after that she goes with Arthur, I'm gonna grab a bite and go outside, you wanna come along?
Ginni frowned and bit her lip, concentrating very hard as she glared at her hooves. For a moment they seemed to start flowing into a more elongated shape, and then they stopped and went back as Ginni yelped. "Owowowowowowoooowww! That is a lot easier said than done!" Mel looked a little concerned, why change? I mean, you are what and who you are. no need to try and be something else, right? looking to Ace, thanks for the invite, but Arthur and I have....ahhh... things to do... come on Arttie lets see about getting something to eat and go outside. I haven't had fresh air in like four thousand years.
Mel tugs a little on Arthur's arm, come on, let them be alone. I am sure they would like to spend some time together referring to Ace and Ginni.
Once Ace says his goodbyes, Mel gives her a hug as well, I'll save ya some cake, or something. you still can eat cake right?. come on Arthur, lets go. Mel goes to head out, almost dragging Arthur with her.
"Uh, which party would that be, and when? If its this weekend, we can't make it cuz we're going with Tyrrin and her brother Ehos to a special Equinox Festival hosted by Ty's mother, who I believe is akin to a queen among her people. She's a High Seer, like the Headmaster, and I guess that's some sort of royalty among the elves." Mel gives a sigh, Well, maybe when you done being bored there, you can come to a fun party. she says in a joking tone. anyway, I'll be alright but I'll miss you guys. Turning to Ginni, If you are not released, you can just sneak away right?

Ginni had to wipe a tear away as she read the lyrics. "That's beautiful, Mel. Really speaks to all of us who have lost someone, recently or not." Thanks, I was supposed to perform at a party, but with me being gone and stuff, I don't even know if I still am playing, or if there is even going to be a party anymore. Mel thinks a moment, If there is, do you want to perform this with me. you can help with the music. Mel asks getting a little excited at the thought of having Ginni on stage with her. Turning to Ace, you can too, Ace, I was impressed with your wide range of vocal talents.
"Ah well, this past week I had to prevent the destruction of two multiverses, rescue melody from the solution of the previous problem, awaken some kind of minor magical talent that comes from a tattoo that appeared on my neck... Hermes, have I left anything out?" Trying to pay attention to two conversations at once, Mel adds to Hermes list, you also saved me from a fiery death.
Mel smiles at Ginni's response. she still felt a little sorry for not being there, but happy that Ginni is alright now. about that song she opens her new journal book and hands it to Ginni. this is just the lyrics, I am thinking a simple piano accompaniment. song lyrics: I didn't know today would be our last

Mel sat a little sad. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. looking to Ace, You to, I really am sorry I couldn't help.
"Oh. You already know. Well, then. I'm very sorry, Melody. I know that must hurt. It sounds like you know more about what happened than I do. All I knew was that my connection to Kai was cut, which means...well, anyhow. I'm sorry I wasn't able to help, Mel. I...wasn't really myself at the time. If there's anything that I can do, I'm here for you," Ginni said, reaching out and awkwardly patting Mel's shoulder. Mel smiles, and nods acknowledging her offer. I don't think I would want it any other way. but while I was away, my friend Susan seemed to share my same grief. It was almost like she knew Kai as well. She pulls out her journal, (well what looks like a new one). The best way I had to deal with it was to write a song. I have the lyrics but I haven't quite got the tune quite right.[/b] I would show them to you but that privilege is for those that are willing to perform it with me. she says in a joking tone hoping that Ginni understands that she still wants her to get on stage and share that great singing voice she has.
Mel accepts the plate. thanks Ace. she says being as polite as she can. looking among those there. Mel takes a deep breath, Kai is gone, dead. she struggles to say and a quick wipe of her eyes.
"Hey, that wasn't your fault. No more so than it's my fault when Kal's taken over my mind, and forced me to do horrible things." As he says that, he checks the device(bracelet, if I recall) that's keeping Kal at bay. Thankfully, it still seems to be fine. Mel thinks for a minute as she tries to figure things out. lets see now, when you are outside of time and space, you tend to loose track of the future. so counting today.... she seems to go through some ciphering in her head then carry carry the two, no wait, one. after a second longer one week, but it could have been longer counting the trip to the past that I had to take along the way back.
Chuckling "Plenty. I haven't been an elephant before. Nor have I ever had need to be an alligator or crocodile. I've also never been a hippo, but I did need to be a rhino once. That extra armor and horn was useful for breaking through a small squad of enemy soldiers. It helped that it was incredibly unexpected as well" He says continuing to laugh at the memory. Mel whispers to Ginni, but Ace can probably overhear, I've seen him eat, he might be a hippo without realizing it. she says jokingly.
Mel looks to Ace, is there anything that you haven't been? Mel takes over helping Ginni to the lounge great idea
"Uh, yeah, kind of a lot of things happened, and it wasn't so much a decision as an inevitable change kind of thing. I can give you all the details if you want. We were just headed for the waiting room to eat some dinner. They're not quite ready to discharge me I guess. And I'd love to hear about what happened to you....you were so far away! But I understand if you want to put that conversation off until later." Mel looks Ginni over, Well, it suits you. and you'll learn to use the new feet, err, hooves? anyway, just like wearing heels? I don't know, I never had hooves, well not that I remember anyway. when the question comes up about where Mel had been, Mel's mood takes a somber turn. Yeah, we need to talk, it, was, well, maybe later.
Mel stops for a moment, taking in the new look. she seems a bit confused at first then she gives a smile. definitely nice to see you too. I see you finally decided to come out of your ahhh, shell, so-to-speak.
Mel looks around a little lost , Ginni, you alright? whre are you? Mel tries to make her way away from Arthur to find her friend.
Mel composes herself beside Arthur. So how have you been, how is everyone. Is Vai back? how about Ginni?
"Fascinating the space has a shrunken exterior without the accompanying shrunken interior, the power involved in this device is astounding, on the magnitude of collapsing stars or siphoned energy from other universes, but how to open-eh? Mels? Mel!" He says as she appears practically within his arms and he picks her up twirling her in the air, a look of joy in his bag laden eyes "you're ok!" Mel laughs and is definitely happy to be back. Once she is put back down, she turns to close the door she came from on the "ship" sorry about this but Susan has to go, something about a time paradox or some such thing. she takes Arthur by the arm and drags him away from the cylinder. come-on, we need to step back. Shortly after with a sound similar to when it arrived, the cylinder de-materializes and is gone. Mel looks to Arthur, [b]so what do you think of my new hat? indicating the straw wide brimmed "farmer" hat she now wears.
Mel had made her entrance, not paying much attention to her immediate surroundings. the door opened and Mel had stepped out right in-between Arthur's arms as he was investigating the cylinder. she turns to go into the infirmary is suddenly face-to-face, and practically lip-locked with Arthur. Mel blushes a little, guess you really did miss me. beyond Mel through the open door, Arthur can see inside the cylinder. which is way bigger on the inside. it leads to a room that is exactly the same as the Simulation.
that sounds good to me, will have to check gameplay to see if you posted this already.
"Well if you have a mass spectrometer and a material reference guide handy that'd save me the time. With just my nobots it will take a while before I can figure out what this is made up of and how to follow the trail of it... Whatever it is it's techno-organic. So there shouldn't be many false positives on anything we do to scan for it."
