looking to Ace, thanks for the invite, but Arthur and I have....ahhh... things to do...
come on Arttie lets see about getting something to eat and go outside. I haven't had fresh air in like four thousand years.
Arthur winces at the failed transformation "Yeah, that takes some getting used to... Good luck with that, oh and call me if you manage to get yourself stuck midway through a transformation or if you need someone to cancel a transformation. I have a trick that helps with that, but I think you'd need to get out of this form at least once first before I could help, because I think this is your natural form now..."
Then he turns to Melody "ah yes food, fresh air... I seem to have been neglecting those things myself as of late, lead the way my dear!"

Ardiente 'Scorch' |

Ardiente sets himself to the task of trying to destroy the bugs, a bit unsure if he's strong enough to so on his own.
Swift action to use Exploit Weakness vs a DC = to their CR or 10+hardness 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (13) + 23 = 36. Going to assume that's a success, which lets me gain a +2 to attacks, and I ignore their hardness.
Full attack vs the closest bug:
1d20 + 18 ⇒ (2) + 18 = 20 for 2d8 + 9 + 4d6 ⇒ (5, 2) + 9 + (1, 4, 3, 5) = 29, 13 fire.
1d20 + 18 ⇒ (19) + 18 = 37 for 2d8 + 9 + 4d6 ⇒ (7, 8) + 9 + (2, 1, 2, 4) = 33, 9 fire.
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (11) + 13 = 24 for 2d8 + 9 + 4d6 ⇒ (7, 5) + 9 + (6, 1, 4, 2) = 34, 13 fire.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12 for 2d8 + 9 + 4d6 ⇒ (2, 6) + 9 + (2, 4, 5, 6) = 34, 17 fire.
If any of those drops a bug, he'll attack another, if possible.

I've never been mutable before. I don't know how to flow. I know I can do it, because succubi can. But it's not as easy to do as to say," she said, frustrated.

narrator |
Creation lunges forward with a scream of primal rage, aiming for Destruction. She is stopped by Pride who holds her back with some help from Life who patted Creation on the head and handed her a baby bunny.
"Whoa, there, trigger," Pride says to Creation. "I mean, I totally appreciate the eternal war thing you guys have going here and all, but don't you think there's a time and place? Let's not go all feral here. Why don't you just go sit over there with Justice, alright? Won't that be nice?"
"Don't be so condescending," Creation snapped.
"But I'm so good at it!" Pride protested. "And as for you," he said, turning his attention to Destruction, "I love the new look. Very creative. Really. Learning to use negative space to give yourself form...you should be very proud of yourself," he said with a winning smile. "That said, as I mentioned, time and place. And this is not the time to start an end of the world scenario. Remember all the things that went wrong with Ragnarok? And don't even get me started on Armageddon. We need time to properly prepare for that sort of thing. No offense, my dear," he added with a bow towards Time. "But you have already admitted you are not quite yourself yet."
While he was talking the rest of the room had sort of surreptitiously moved away from Destruction and there was a surprising amount of weaponry present. Wrath actually growled. Life however seemed oblivious as she just kept handing people random baby animals to hold.

"And what will be left for you to destroy then?" Mercy asked coldly. "You'll end too. Nothing left to destroy. You need to start thinking about the consequences of your actions. You have your purpose and your place. Can't those be enough?"
While Mercy spoke, Time wandered among the others, accepting a kitten from Jivana as she passed her. She held the kitten gently, still petting it as she approached Destruction. When she was close enough to speak without being overheard she leaned in and whispered, "I know you will. But not yet. Be patient. And do try to understand. The others are rather overwrought. Fear tends to do that with extended exposure. And endings are hard. But so are beginnings. And it's almost time for mine. Won't that be fun?" she asked, her gold eyes dancing with merriment. "Oops," she said, as Death arrived. "It looks like my minder is here to make sure I don't say too much. And I was so enjoying our conversation." She walked away, wandering near to the new arrival. "Right on time as always" she said with a wink. "Don't worry, I didn't say anything. Although I do think I might have convinced Destruction that I'm nearly as batty as Madness."
I AM NOT ENTIRELY CERTAIN THAT YOU ARE NOT, he said, frowning insomuch as a skull could frown. WHY ARE YOU CARRYING A KITTEN?
"Jivana is going a bit overboard with the baby animals. It's how she handles stress you know. If this keeps up she'll start matchmaking. You know how she is."

Sadie Jhiwoon |

"I hate to ask, but could you lay out the scrolls? It's likley my touch would destroy them."
adon fidgets, really hating asking for favors.
Sadie lays out all of the books and scrolls so that the group can look through them. "Alright, if we each take a few texts we can get through these more quickly."

Djalos Tyon |

Djalos nods and begins rapidly tapping one of the books, in the same manner that he "read" the first one.

narrator |
Working together the group is able to herd the bugs away from building one, the firebirds working together as a unit as they were trained to delay the bugs with fire and electricity. Working together they were even able to destroy a couple, but it took concentrated fire from all of them. Meanwhile Jeran and Ghalen set beacons to create a forcefield between the buildings. Once the forcefield was up the bugs withdrew back into building two. There was a tense wait then before the shuttle took off. A thorough sweep of building two revealed no bugs left behind. And Eve confirmed that all the ones who were not part of her group had left. Jiminy gave the order for Mithros to deploy a singularity bomb against the shuttle once it had gotten sufficiently clear of the planet. Negotiations with Eve seemed to continue well. Power and communications in the factories was restored. With communication back up Control was able to check in and tell them that the security measures on the hangar had held. The facility was still clean. R&D on the other hand had not been so lucky, although it was much better off than assemblies 1 and 2. Jiminy looked tired. Like hadn't slept in a week tired. Which was very much possible. Eve promised to help clean up in the first two factories as a sign of good faith in exchange for raw materials and the promised help setting up a proper colony for her people on one of the moons or planets in this solar system. He sent Ardiente back to Avalon since it was obvious that he was chomping at the bit to go and see if Raelle was alright. The others were dismissed soon after.
Sorry for being a bit anticlimactic here. I got too overzealous in the cleaning at New Years and none of us wanted to wait while I reconstructed stats. Thanks, Dalesman for wrangling feedback on that for me. :)

She sighed. "I'm sure they would help to some extent, but I think that maybe expecting to get the hang of it all in one go is a little ambitious. It's possible that I'm just tired out from the transformation in the first place. For now, I'll gladly take some help with staying upright," she added with a smile.

Saffire perked up from where he was draped over Kitty's shoulder. *Meep?!*
"Er, did I mention that he's picked up spelling? He's very clever. And now we have to or he'll just whine all night," she said, shaking her head and laughing.

"Jivana is going a bit overboard with the baby...
"I don't really care if there's nothing left to destroy. But, like I said. It's simple. Don't directly try and remove me, and I'll play along. should the mortal's choose to do it on their own! I'll stay quiet. But if you do, I'll be much less amused. Simple as that."
destruction pauses, a while, before looking around for someone."is luck here? I need to thank her for the actions of her pawn. Quite helpful."
