Nintendo has done guidance better before though. In the other pokemon games they would tell you an objective once maybe twice and you can just go and do it. But in this one there's all these characters like walking you through everything.

Still alive (barely). NaNo continues, and if I thought that writing through the flu earlier this month was bad, well, I obviously didn't reckon with the last few days of writing through a sinus infection. I haven't slept properly in days thanks to the insane congestion that won't let me breathe. :(
I am going to have so many WTF moments when I go to edit this book since I'm more than a bit loopy now. Sorry for the lack of posts, but at least you're not left wondering what I'm on. (Nothing. I'm on absolutely nothing. Well, other than my normal prescribed medications. But I can't take any decongestants or cough medicine or anything because side effects. Bleh.)
Edit: Doomkitten, update your word count! :)

Repost from FAWtL so I don't have to type all the things again...
I can't remember the last time I posted. Most of November is kind of a blur. So...November Summary!
NaNoWriMo! Yay! ....got the flu the first week. Ugh. But kept writing! Got a little better for a few days....got a nasty sinus infection that hung around for two weeks. Ugh.:( Still kept writing! Had to stop posting to my PBP because I was kinda a wee bit delirious...for a week or so. :( Still kept writing! (Revisions are going to be interesting....) Then Thanksgiving. Two full days of cooking for a from scratch feast because when you have food allergies pre-prepared food is something that happens to other people. Wednesday I hurt my arm. Late Wednesday evening I was trying to write with my sore arm which I had kinda dislocated my elbow earlier and had to stop writing after a thousand words because I was in crying pain. Took Thanksgiving off of writing. Managed to muddle through the cooking without being able to use my left arm. But all of the food turned out! That never happens! Still couldn't move my arm on Friday so I took another day and binge watched Gilmore Girls (Yay!) while making crochet snowflakes because crochet only uses one hand. Still couldn't move my arm on Saturday so we went to the movies. Sunday I was starting to think that I might need medical attention, but when my husband went to give me a back massage to see if it would help, he discovered that my elbow wasn't the only thing I'd dislocated. Which totally explained the pain. You should have seen how queasy he looked when I made him hold my arm so I could pop it back into place. After that I was still in pain but had mobility in my arm again so I knocked out the last five thousand words of my NaNo novel (WOO!). And then I put up all the Christmas decorations yesterday and did the grocery shopping today. Neither of these things were very good for my shoulder and I am having trouble keeping it in place. May need to consider using a sling for a couple of days. (I have loose ligaments. My joints dislocate so often it's not even a thing anymore. But I can get some nasty muscle injuries if they aren't popped back into place promptly. Three days out of socket was especially bad.)
And as a special bonus: Movie reviews!
Fantastic Beasts: B-/C+ The ending was...terrible. Just...grr. And someone needs to get Eddie Redmayne a chiropractor...it's not normal not being able to move your neck at all.... But the beasts themselves were cool and I enjoyed getting more time in my favorite fictional universe, so as long as I don't think about the ending too much it's fine.Moana: A+! Loved it! It was fun and funny and the soundtrack rocks. We've been listening to it on repeat since we saw the movie. My thirteen year old son who hates Disney movies really liked it and wants to go back to see it in the theater again.
And now to catch up on my poor neglected PBP...

I as a culture enthusiast was extremely pleased with Moana. Despite some name changes, it was 100% Polynesian mythos. Except maybe the coconut guys. Dunno about them.

Also, somewhere way back when, it's Andromeda's go in the scene. I know you don't exactly have much to go on besides Dave and Tybs being a not-couple-couple-uncomfortably-close-friends-thing. So I can go ahead if you want.

Thanks, I had totally lost track of that scene. :)

Tybalt Baneko |

If he wasn't in the middle of freaking out about trying to not be clingy mode, I would make Tybs do a will save against reminding that he's immune to mind control now.
And has been for more than 3 years, now that I think about it... I feel old.

Tybalt Baneko |

Ergo will/wisdom save, except that he's already paranoid about the same thing right now, so it's not necessary.

Monkeygod |

Tybalt has only been in game for not even two full weeks.
It's been one week since Fei exploded, I believe(It's Friday in game). The Saturday that's coming up is one week after the expedition to the mountain for Oneiro's book, and bringing back Pyry.
But yes, it's been three years since we started :)

[]DESIGNATION EVE: Offer: We will share information about ourselves with you so you can plan how to best deal with the others once they have completed their ship. Sending: File....
Lyn, should I be looking out for a separate post/PM about this information from Eve, or was this supposed to just be a jumping off point to skip to the end of the ship's construction?

D'oh! Yeah, so I sorta forgot to send you that PM....knew there was something I hadn't done, but couldn't remember what it was. Sorry, my bad!

Yeah. Still having some trouble with the shoulder I dislocated, so lots of typing is really hard. (Sorry if I'm seemed cranky at all during the last week, this is why.) I went to the chiropractor yesterday, and the good news is that he was able to get my shoulder back how it's supposed to go. The bad news is that this started up the whole intense pain thing all over again. The worst part is how behind I've gotten on my Christmas knitting. Not sure I'm gonna get all the presents done in time. :(

Lyn,
How is it you're listed as a previous player for you're own game?!
Also, I noticed we're down to 10 players(not including Lyn), with a couple being only semi active.
I believe we have 7 active players.
Just curious, but would you ever considering opening up recruitment, if only briefly? Or is this game pretty locked on players, aside from those who might come back?
Just makes me a little sad, seeing as how we used to have around 15+ active players.

Melody Waverider |

Lurch is around in the boards still.
I'm also fairly certain Melody would know that Ace and the party folks don't mix very well, but maybe that's something she's doing on purpose.
Actually it is on purpose... sort of playing the Peace maker

Currently we're on recommendation only for new players, but yes, I have considered opening up recruitment temporarily given recent withdrawals from the game. And then November happened. :P
Unless I improbably get a bunch of recommended players before then, I'm planning to open recruitment for a brief window in January. After the holidays. Cause stuff is crazy around the holidays. :)

Sorry my posting has been so spotty of late. Holidays and all the many projects I'm trying to get done before Christmas. Plus yet another cold. (Ugh.) But it's that time of year. And I'm sure things will get back to a more normal schedule soon...like after New Years. :P
