I think in the next few weeks when and if we know what is happening better with the campaign and OTM then its good to know we have some flexibility to re-invigorate and re-balance the party.

Oh, and I like Vhillish - especially in Fairhill when he showed his true colours taking on Lannet as a sergeant major would.

The deep gnome digs around the piles to find something a little more his size. Then he spots a white serpent scaled belt with an ebony clasp. It fits around his waist almost of its own volition and the snug fit suits Jerrid.

Underneath it is a hair-comb with black and white tines, and the rogue puts that in his pocket for later. It tingles with ever-changing hues of magical energy and that is attractive.

Nearby is a well crafted backpack of dark grey leather, and inside he finds a small box containing a beautiful set of cards in shiny edged golds and silvers. The cards are fine fortune-teller's cards and fit securely into the pack.
Finally rolling around inside is a part used wand of cold steel. There may be 20 charges left inside the engraved magical short rod.

Jerrid finds a belt of tumbling (800gp), hat of disguise (1,800gp), mwk backpack (50gp), masterwork fortune-teller's kit (50gp) and a wand of heightened awareness (CL1, 20 charges, 300gp)

He looks around to admire the lovely suit of armour that Sam slips into and nods his approval.

Hi There

Nope, it was 28mm figures on a ten foot table. French in a fort, English/colonials attacking, French relief force coming on somewhere at some point.

I'm away for a gaming weekend tomorrow followed by watching the Superbowl thru the night despite what happened to my beloved Packers.

Jerrid rasps a thanks to the drow and accepts the attentions of Leoven with a grimace and a nod. His dulled red eyes start to recover as he watches everyone go through the motions of letting the tension bleed away.

"I'll be downstairs."

With that the gnome trudges down the stairs.

Bloody heroic Hammerhead, punjab stick up an orc! Can this day get any worse? Right books, books, books.

Jerrid slinks after the surface gnome with his sickle swinging back and forth and then carries on. His lips are drawn back like a krenshar on heat.

Yeah I read that bit. Its the pointing that concerns me. My take is that Vhillish points at who he wants the message to go to. The message goes to that subject ignoring barriers.

My gut feeling is that what we are doing may be better than a zero level cantrip. More like a radio.

Mojo sighs and goes back to look at one of the gems with Lomyldyr. "You scratchin' your nog? It be 'bout color, if'n light goes through or bubbles, 'ow heavy it be an' las' but not so small it be bout der gems bin cut good. See!"

The goblin shrugs at the gems and hands his back. Then taps the elf on the arm, "jess 'member color, clarity, carrot an' cut." He picks at his teeth as he walks over to Aggy with his bloody nose.

"I gotten smacked two times by dem statues. Cun you be 'eelin' meself, Master Aggy. Please."

Leaving the books for now, Jerrid moves over to the imp's body. As Vhillish gives his report, the deep gnome carefully cuts off the imp's tail and bags it.

He is working as fast as he can before the next plan is put in place. There is so much good stuff here and worth a fortune.

But these books end up with a dusty body and service to a Demon. Maybe not so good but think of the power. Maybe just a spellbook and forget the demonic stuff?.

The deep gnome hisses at the dangerous situation and leafs through his meagre spells to see what may help.

"It will strike Sam!" Jerrid's claw points straight at the invisible beast.

Then he casts his svirfneblin innate ability at the magic resistant imp
and the tortured words splatter out his mouth, "obfuscare opalaque!"

Cast Blindness, moment of prescience 1d20 ⇒ 9 0/4 left, roll to overcome spell resistance 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5, O me miseram! Prot vs evil 3/10

But the creature resists!

So Jerrid moves over towards Sam to point closer. "Here!"

Mojo dodges away from the gargoyles around him to gain a flank with Myrick again. The goblin then slashes at the stone tendons of another.

Then Jerrid quickly scratches away at the door, writing Knotty's name. But now the party is split he tries to conserve his luck. The sickle makes a dry scratching noise almost a pig's squeal as the gnome finishes.

He spends a move action examining the door to see how it can be opened from the inside.

We tend to use three votes to move things along. The DM (or someone asks the question) and when we get three votes we move on. It seems to work out okay in that group. Depends on the players styles too.

Family and friends make a massive difference. The support they give can be hard to accept or ask for, or so I found this year. But its very necessary when there is a loss like this.

We are in your corner because you have run a fine game for some experienced gamers and we know talent when we are attacked and poisoned by it.

Not bad. I started taking accountancy exams, re-connected with lots of old friends and found a super job.

Gamingwise I miss this however I have a con in the UK to go to in October now. Three days in a hotel - we seem to have gone posher as we get older.

I agree. I'll never forget the look on my party's faces when a dragon up'ed and flew off on 1 hp. One more point of damage and it would have been dead. This goes some of the way to redressing that.

Looking forward to seeing how that plays out no matter who gets into the game.

You can move through an unoccupied square without difficulty in most circumstances. Difficult terrain and a number of spell effects might hamper your movement through open spaces.

Friend: You can move through a square occupied by a friendly character, unless you are charging. When you move through a square occupied by a friendly character, that character doesn't provide you with cover.

Jerrid grips his lips together and steps back to Vhillish with a faint nod of acceptance that two soldiers understand his paranoia. He grins to himself again that the matter may be in hand.

"Don't leave me with the cook. I don't .... trust.... my mind on her," he grits out.
