Otmshank is not the sort of guy to flake out on this. I'd rather give him more time and I believe he deserves it with all the support he gives the rest of us.

Interesting you say that FW - had actually mulled, that in event OTM doesn't come back, asking the same.

My logic is that Vhillish and Damian are very much a duo, and with the good Deputy's ties to Fairhill, they would remain there as militia/law enforcers... (giving a chance to reintroduce should the opportunity allow).

NB: Not wedded to the above notion, as I enjoy playing Vhillish immensely - but it seems to fit if Damian was no longer going to be around? And ties in with Vhillish' character and morals.

I think in the next few weeks when and if we know what is happening better with the campaign and OTM then its good to know we have some flexibility to re-invigorate and re-balance the party.

Oh, and I like Vhillish - especially in Fairhill when he showed his true colours taking on Lannet as a sergeant major would.

Well I am very in love with both characters, Jerrid Kinslarn and Vhillish Quarelwick, they are like family I would hate to see them go! That said, the choice is ultimately yours. I will support your decision.

FYI though, destroying the shard is just the conclusion of the arc we have been on. It's not a whole new arc that should be seen as an A or B decision between the arc and the slavers.

I have been pretty sure for quite some time that going after the slavers is a shoe-in for the next chapter of the campaign.

I promised OTM-Shank via PM a while back that I would do a nice traditional set piece pathfinder encounter, since I know he enjoys that chess-like tactical combat aspect of the game so much. I have a nice full color battle map with a very tactical environment all set to go. It is the forge where Eralion made the shard, and that's where it has to be destroyed. It just seems a shame to run that encounter without Damien so I'm stalling a bit to see if he turns up.

Losing Jerrid and the stories of the 33th would be a damn shame indeed.

Losing Jerrid would be a downer also - FW has imbued the wee dark soul with a nice counterpoint to the (largely) lawful and heroic-ness of the rest of us :)

Not sure if you guys have noticed but I've been slacking off recently. My studies and workload have risen dramatically in recent times, and my role here is growing. I wish I could find the time for this game because of you guys but that's not going to happen for a year or two when I finish taking exams.

Therefore I'm going to drop out. Seem to have lost my vim and vigour for pbp and its not likely to return.

I had a crazy year. My little brothers friend from our gaming group took his own life. That was hard for us.

I got into yoga and meditation though and I eat really healthy now. I went to the himalayas and stayed in a monastery. I'm going back soon.

Just logging in once again to see if anyone is around.

I'm sorry I drifted away. I always struggled to stay on top of my personal problems while running this game. It is in my nature to have highs and lows. I'm proud of how long we kept this thing going.

Losing a core member of my real life gaming group to tragedy has made gaming itself carry excruciatingly bittersweet sentimental overtones now. It will be a while before I have the fortitude to roll the dice again.

You guys were real friends to me during years of rehabilitation of my mental health. I was a bit sequestered then and I am again now in a different way. I am in India, living in monasteries and ashrams practicing yoga.

I happen to have wifi where I am staying this past month and a half so I couldn't resist to come on here and post a bulletin to the old gang.

Really I hope to someday fire up another game and see if I can finally master the steady even pace with help of my new healthy lifestyle changes :) but the forum has changed so much and the game systems are evolving... who knows.

I might start all over at mythweavers or something.

I am still around, been hoping to see you again.

So what are you guys feelings about systems now? The new announcement has kind of pushed me towards 5e a little bit. That and my nieces want to play. 9 & 11 yo, so simple is better.

Not really delved into PF2 at all to be honest.

Happy enough with straight up PF and playing 5E at the moment here on the boards. Will be interesting if any of the PF games I'm in try and transition to PF2...

Keeping an open mind but based on my SF experience I'd rather wait a year or two after it launches so there is more options and breadth to the game (which ironically is probably what it was evolving to avoid?)

As problematic as a post-by-post campaing is, this one is one of the most enjoyable gaming experience I have, the crew was really a remarkable one.

I've been away of pathfinder and the paizo forum for more than a year (mostly playing old world of darkness).

Yeah, it was just such a great bunch of characters, I barely had to do any work.

It was hard for me to imagine going on without otm-shank and French wolf though.

Well, if you guys plan to organize a new game or to continue this one just let me know.

I am organizing some small 5e adventures in Midgard though. First one is in the Southlands.
