Mutants and Masterminds is fun but I wouldn't recommend it for a more light style of game. Number crunchy, but fun.

So infinitely knowledgeable. Good to know, though I already did. Poor guy...
I know of at least one instance where someone "burned the Hell out of them" to create a new race out of demon.
We could recreate that experiment!
*throws up a few sign language gestures*
Do try to keep it down, will you? I'm thinking.

lynora wrote: Re: the Logical Weaknesses discussion: Lovely wording, m'lady. Most of its quite true as well, though I wouldn't count Light's Champion as a suicide. Oh no, that was murder. Sympathy murder, perhaps, but still.
Of course, I might be waaay off on what you were refering too there.
I'm tempted to pop in and talk with Ace after Keme leaves.

And amusingly ironic that Jeran of all people is faulting him for having trouble getting along with people. :) Vai would totally be down to rescue Tryko'S-- OH WAIT SHE'S DEAD.
Thanks Alton. ;P You're welcome. Just, you know, doing my part to save reality. ;-)
He says you've got a great plan, by the way. Won't say if it succeeds though. He's strange.

Knowledge is power. That's why I use it in all my bombs.
I'll kill you. I'm sure Lysander would help. :)

If so, does that one ever involve planar field trips? Serrin would love to "go home" I wish I could go home.... Careful now, you how wishes work around here!

"You see, when two primordial powers do a funny dance, things happen, and that's how dhampirs are made."
Enlighten, maybe-- doubt it, it's Death, after all.
Maybe if he stopped shouting one day-- who wants to be hanging out with someone that shouts all the time? Yeeesh!
Not to mention the bone fetish, yuck. Ew, and double yuck. Zombie flesh? Puh-lease.
I could go on, but, it'd be cruel.
Besides, Death could never produce anything this cute:

And Death made this cute little guy.

Oh, one more question from random curiosity- can the champion of deception conceal his aura? Not just him. Really? Hunh. Didn't know it could be conceled. Neither did Deception.
Well, there goes the surprise. Gonna just toss it all into an actual sun now.
Probably you're first mistake, honestly.
Of course, he /can/ be deceived in certain instances, right, Ryuzo? ;p

Alton appeared in the courtyard of his family home. As good a place as any, he thought as he set down the small case he'd brought with him. It contained a host of nanites he'd reprogrammed and updated to his specifications.
With a flick of the lock, he released them and they immediately set to work taking the sun apart and using it to create more of their kind, the process going faster and faster as their numbers grew.
In truth, this was helpful to his plan. As Alton's nanites dismantled the sun, they did so in such a way that it resembled a solar eclipse, a silly symbolic gesture he'd thought fitting to mark the end of an era.
Knowledge cannot directly interfere. It knows what is going to happen, how, and even why. All possible outcomes are known.
But so far nothing it's done has made sense in-game.
Except, you know, Knowledge. ;)
And, ironically, no one is really sure who Knowledge is backing. ;)
Overseeing the evacuation gave Alton plenty of excuses to collect a few more treasures. Some of them would be more dangerous after the explosions after all. Angry even.
Besides, his fiery little friends need to clear out their nests anyway. It was kind of funny, creatures like them being pack rats.
Yes, I believe we do. And will.
I'm tempted to provide help with the Avatar Temple search.. I'm already on the Sun and found some of it's secrets long forgotten...
Wearer of Masks wrote: Can I keep the sun? I called it first!
You know what? I'm just gonna take the firebird Sun... and throw it into the real one. Yeah, I'll do that.
...no one believes me, do they?
I already know about it, so I'm just gonna keep organizing the evacuation.
"I could tell her. It's my fault and she already hates me. It's not like you could beat me to it in any case."
Sorchan del Sol wrote: "The funny thing is, as awful as he was, I think Fieri will probably be the only person who will actually feel sorry that Fuego is dead." "I am. Prison would have been much worse. Go back to Avalon, sir, I can handle this for a day. I'll even get evacuation started, once everyone calms down enough for me to cancel my spell."
Sorchan del Sol wrote: "Exactly."
"I don't have all the answers, but we can't go on the way we have. We'll have to figure out the rest as we go. But as long as this place exists we'll never get away from our past."
"Just don't repeat history. Congratulations on you eldest being a part of firebird society again, once there is one. I'd send flowers, but she loathes me." ;)
Sorchan del Sol wrote: "At least three.....and none of them. Maybe some of the works of art, portable things, but....we need to start over. There's nothing worth saving here except the people." "Some would argue otherwise. The people part that is. Just how big do you want this start over to be, anyway? Without the Council's laws, for example, being abjured means nothing."
"How many days would you need to evacuate, and how many of the buildings do you want saved?"
Sorchan finds himself floating above next to Alton.
"One moment, sir." He says, casting a spell to change how gravity works and neutralize the crowd, at least partially. "That argument took about thirty-five seconds longer than I planned. Fuego was quite stubborn."

"I notice you didn't respond to my rebuttal on your extinction theory. Oh well. KNOW THE TRUTH!"
Time to wave my Championship around. Alton is giving everyone present knowledge of the truth. All of it? Pieces of it? Truth about which things? Gotta figure out the crowd's response... All the things the Council lied about.

"You're SERIOUSLY try to use extinction as an excuse, when elves and orcs are stiil around DESPITE breeding outside their race?"
"What are you willing to do to keep your precious purity anyway? How many firebirds are drugged right now into agreeing with you?!"
Melody Waverider wrote: Magic isn't real

"The council has lost it's purpose for being, perverted the laws to suit them! I've seen firebirds living away from the sun among the other races. They are happy!"
"You count yourself among the good people? Interesting. Where are the records for the charges then? I checked, they're missing. They aren't with your ifrit 'friend' downstairs, that's for sure." Alton remains undeterred, speaking calmly and clearly for everyone to hear.
Huh, that may not have been the best example to use. No, I don't have any of your scales. Ol' Thrax though? Got a bunch of his.
"Because I'm not the one who created false charges against members of houses that, had certain members not been abjured, would have become prominent enough to take a seat on the council. Good, honest families that would have revealed your crimes themselves."
Did you ever smell smoke or ash where you shed, Light?
"Well, moreso than the others."
This is the first I've used the spell in-character. I've got plenty. More than just Krays' too.
