As somebody who has been following Vai and Fei's stories(individually) as well as their romance since I started,
I believe Lyn is doing a solid job portraying Vai, and while I do dearly hope FCD is able to come back and play her and his other PCs once again on at least a semi regular basis, I can honestly say Lyn is a very good substitute.

Thanks, MG. I'm doing my best. It looks like I will be running FCD's characters for the foreseeable future as I still haven't heard from him. This kinda sucks for me because he has a lot of characters, but I can only assume that some sort of crisis must have come up.

Alright, about the one magic item rule- may the "one" item acutally be a themed set of items? I've got a set planned for the bishop that's basucally a themed set of magic armor that consumed severe magic item slot but amulet.

More likely, I haven't explained myself clearly.
The bishop, for what he's done, is a also brash, young (for an elf), irrisposible, and dives headfirst into basically (good god the typo that was), anything he's even mildly intereted in.
And he'd very much go a long ways out of his way to meet, and be around, actual dragons.
He'd mostly abandon the church if he found something that interested him more, only coming back on days where he's needed for sermons and the like.
Then again, I can hardly tell the diffence between an NPC and a PC in this game.
Maybe he's better suited to an NPC role? No idea.

Now that we're at the skip point, it'll probably be okay to park most of his characters. With what's coming up, including Vai in that may be a good idea. I may be able to build something in for that anyway.
And I have one more fast interchange with Fei and Aananda. Apologies for it, but it will get several things that need to happen accomplished ;)

And yes, that's largely my plan, to put as many of his characters as possible on the sidelines so I don't do anything too awful to them in his absence. :)

Ah. Okay. Yeah, I just hadn't really understood the whole concept there. Works for me. And yes, as long as it's one suit of armor, you can do that.

This is part of why I decided to start the time skip on Friday evening as my understanding was that the Equinox festival was taking place on Saturday. So that buys us some time. I'm hoping that I can get some kind of reply from him soon. But yes, I have already started considering backup plans because that's my job. It's still too soon to be going that far though.
