Don't know about anyone else but I found that second letter by Adophus horribly difficult to read so I decided to type it out so I could look it over more easily. I didn't type out the bottom because it did not seem pertinent to the investigation.
My mentor Selmius Foster, is dead - slain during our journey to the island of Bhopan. I have taken up his investigation into Eylysia's activities, though recent developments mean my time in Absalom is short.
My initial followup of Foster's investigation into Arkath involved hiring several diviners to discern the veracity of Selius's leads. It appears the stonemason was quite honest with my mentor; there is some key clue buried with him in his mausoleum.
I have watched Eylysia for many months since my return, and I have caught her making additionas to the Wall of Names = the memorial built in honor of my departed mentor. She has added three names, none of which are true Pathfinders and are likely worth investigating. Their names are:
Doulgonlir Caskmail
Hollis 'Evil Grin' Thorne
Karina Clamp
That's why I mentiond I retyped it under the "Campaign Info" tab. Both handouts are there to make it easier, rather than trying to read the actual handouts.

Please favorite this post (hit the little + symbol to the right) if you've already played or GMd this scenario.
You can unfavorite in a couple days. I just want to see who all has already played this.
Thanks!

GM Roll4initiative wrote:I included dice for both baseline attack and crit confirm in case the initial attack was a crit threat to save time posting. Is that okay to do?How is a 13 on the die a critical threat?
Oh, ok. Yeah, that's fine to do, now that I know what you're doing. Remember, you can always go back and edit your post and do the crit confirm after you know for sure that it's a crit threat.

If I may add:
When you click "Preview" you can see the result of the dice roll(s) before posting.
(This is how a player can describe their failure to hit in the same post - you see the natural 1 on the d20.)
If you see a critical threat there, you can add the confirmation roll.

A percentile roll, in this case a miss chance, can not be affected by Timely Inspiration. It's not an attack or a skill check.

GM Roll4initiative |

Bartok, Sombra, & Dr. Watson, I still need you to fill out your info HERE.
Go ahead and do day job rolls and note it in RPG Chronicles, please.
Once everyone fills it out, I will issue the chronicle sheets & report.
Thanks!

This is my first PBP.
I hope you enjoyed it and continue playing! Keep an eye out for more of my offerings.

I am aware, that is why I specifically pointed out for a miss that occurs because of an attack roll, and not because of the miss chance from the mist.

I did. Thank you!
With my PFS credit from this scenario I am going to be making a Cayden-revering skald with the Bacchanal archetype.
Hakon's Day Job Roll (Perform {wind}): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

GM Roll4Intiative: How is handling giving out PFS chronicle sheets for online games?
Will sessions GMs report automatically appear on the Sessions tab of our Organized Play page of our Paizo accounts?

@GM: Please see the PM I just sent you before you report my PFS credit for the scenario.

The chronicle sheets are usually sent out by a link to a shared Google documents folder. The chronicle sheets will be in PDF form.
Yep! After I report the game, it will appear on your sessions tab of your OP page.

Apparently Josheb does not have a day job.
That was interesting. Well ran. Intrigued by the follow up afterward, especially the chronicle sheet.

A month ago I had not played any PBP yet. Now I am in a few. This was the only PFS one.
We completed the scenario in 1 month. Do most scenarios take about a month to play via PBP?
Thanks for the fun, everyone. :)

Exactly 1 month I noticed!
I go a little faster (post more than once/day) than other PbP games. The average I found is 6-7 weeks for a standard scenario.

I'm willing to GM another PFS scenario from season 8, 9, or 10.
Are there any scenarios you had in mind? I could pick one based on your faction. That is, if you're up for playing another PFS game.
What faction is the PC you're applying credit to?

The iconic skald Hakon |

As this scenario is giving be my first chronicle sheet, my PC will be Level 1 (1/2 XP)
If it's a scenario that a level 1 PC is too low to play in, I could play using an iconic again, choosing which iconic based on party composition.
If using my level 1 PC please give me a week or two to get him completed. I am still playing catch-up on one of the PBPs I was not initially recruited for before I jump into the gameplay, and I am in the pre-gameplay phase two other PBPs I got selected for, plus another PBP gameplay that started within the past month.
I am going with Liberty's Edge for the faction for my Cayden-revering skald.
I am using the Faction Cards as well.

Awesome, it will be a tier 1-4 scenario. Btw, it takes 3 scenarios to go up a level.
I'll try to find a good scenario that features the Liberty's Edge faction, or I might run #8-16 House of Harmonius Wisdom.
I'll shoot for 2 weeks from now. Keep an eye on the recruitment thread.
Same goes for everyone else, if interested.

Awesome, it will be a tier 1-4 scenario. Btw, it takes 3 scenarios to go up a level.
I went with slow XP advancement for the scenario we just finished. It can take from 3 to 6 scenarios to go up a level (or 1 book of sanctioned AP or most sanctioned modules, though some of the larger sanctioned modules can net you 3 levels (or 4 with bonus chronicle sheets).
I decided to go slow XP for him to get more scenario play use from him (if he does not perma-die of course).
Thanks. I will try to get my PFS PC completed by end of next weekend.

Thank you for running, GM Roll4initiative!
Thanks for playing, everyone. This was a great table, I had fun!
Craft: Alchemy, competence, Crafter's Fortune: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 7 + 1 + 5 = 23 Yay, 20 gold! :-D
Sorry I kept you waiting, RPG Chronicles are filled out now.

The iconic skald Hakon |

Oh, and since Hakon did not get to to finish his Inspire Rage raging song, here are the rest of the lyrics that your characters would have heard had the fight taken four more rounds...
"Tales of my companions here I have not yet told."
"The minotaur slayers, Bartok and Sombra."
"Josheb, protege of Valen."
"Cazithiel of Jinin and Doctor Watson."

The iconic skald Hakon |

Hakon's Day Job Roll (Perform {wind}): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Day Job result of 25 is....(page 36 of guide)....is 50 gold! That's enough for one potion of c.l.w!
From page 7 of the guide: "Downtime: Pregenerated characters can participate in Downtime activities as long as they have the appropriate skills to do so. See Appendix 4: After the Adventure for more details."

Bacchanal skald archetype.

@GM: I think I was supposed to decide before we play which XP advancement track to use (slow or normal), which I had selected slow advancement. If possible, I would like to use the normal XP advancement track for the scenario we just finished.
Want to get to level 2 as fast as possible.

Thank you for running a fun game!
Not including equipment, I have most of my PFS character done. The character reveres Arshea, not Cayden.
Some/all of you might see Hakon during the initial meet-up of the next scenario, though I will be playing my own PC next time instead of an iconic.
