I just don’t think that a line running exactly along a wall should count as cover.
Let me explain. Imagine a simple 5-foot-wide hallway with two characters standing at opposite ends, like this:
____________________
___A_____________B__
A is the attacker, and B is the target. There’s no obstruction between them—just a straight hallway. According to the cover rules, you draw lines from one corner of A’s square to all four corners of B’s square. Two of those lines will be perfectly horizontal, running along the edge where the wall meets the floor. The other two go diagonally to the lower corners.
If we go strictly by the rule that any line "along" a wall counts for cover, then B has cover—even though there's literally nothing between them. That seems wrong. It implies that standing in the middle of a hallway with no obstacles still grants cover just because the wall runs parallel to your line of sight.
Here’s a practical example from our session:
_________________C___
___A_____________B__
A is Yukari (attacker)
B is Kyra (friendly target)
C is a blue enemy, near the same wall
When Yukari targets Kyra, two of the lines from A to Kyra run along the same wall that supposedly gives cover to the enemy (C). But there’s no obstruction between Yukari and Kyra, so it wouldn’t make sense to say Kyra has cover. Yet if we’re being consistent with the interpretation, the same “along the wall” logic would apply.
That’s why I think the rule should be understood more narrowly. A line that runs exactly along the edge of a wall—without crossing through anything—should not automatically grant cover. Cover should be based on whether there's something between the attacker and the target, not just touching the same edge.

This is a real edge case :)
Yukari I think the important thing is you get to choose a corner. In your first example you can choose one of the upper corners to decide that B does not have cover from A.
It's only when all of the corners cannot draw four unobstructed lines that you have cover (because then you can't choose one without), as appears to be the case in the game. The line about borders is new to me, but given it I agree with the GM.

You are almost through act 3. Act IV is an optional one that can be skipped if short on time. Given how long you have been stuck in this game already, I think that would qualify.
However if you wish to play it I'm happy to run it for you. Let me know which way you would like to go.

Skipping would be acceptable to me.

So am I.

How likely are we to finish before GameDay starts? I'm not planning to play Zhaxia in anything, but I expect that House GMing the PFS1E special will take up a fair amount of time.

I'll need all your name and PFS numbers in order to make you chronicles.
If you want me to put down your current xp/pp/rp/gold then let me know that as well. Otherwise I'll give something akin to a blank chronicle with just the basics.
Likewise if you want to want to have downtime, do you rolls (and it would be a kindness if you looked up the gold related to those rolls).

Okay, your game is not yet reported, but your chronicles are (mostly) available. You can get them from my Google drive.
The event name/code is still blank as it has been a couple of years since I last reported a PFS game and I think we started moving toward a lodge specific event code. If anyone knows what that is, it would be great, but I've posted in Flaxseed in the meantime.
If all else fails I'll dig out my own event code and report with that like in the old days.

Thanks for rescuing the group!
I'll wait to grab the chronicle until it has those codes. Also, 2 prestige or something else?

Bah. The site gave me an error when I reported, so I filled it in a second time. Should have checked. I'm sure the back-end boffins will sort it out in their own good time.
