Evindal hurls a bomb. "Hey, what's that?" Seems to be his target's reaction. It explodes, and Evindal can tell all of his targets are sick. The Red Shirt with Black bandoliers got the worst of it and seems slower than before.

Mrs. Perkins delays.

"Whatever! Charge!" The Aspis agents yell and run haphazardly.

Well, not the sick guy, he spends his energy getting over it.

One of the Red Shirts charges ahead in her shiny White boots. She readies a dagger for Joli.

The other Red Shirt spends his efforts moving right up to Kernal Klank. "The future is now, old man! We're takin' over from the old guard. They got nothing on us!"

GM, were all four targets of the skunk bomb sickened? If so, they don't become well again until they spend an action retching AND make a DC 21 Fort save. The benefit to not being the main target (i.e. those who only took splash dmg) only applies to the initial save (i.e. their result is one stage higher than whatever they rolled) but if they are sickened as a result of that they still need to spend an action to retch. Even if Red with the Black X successfully got rid of his sickened with a retch action, he should have still been slowed for at least that one round, leaving only one action to advance? (Skunk bombs are awesome, especially when the foes cluster together! :-) )

Evindal: I miscounted and thought only 3 of them were caught in the blast, and I applied the Slow + Sickened condition to Red White. They failed their first Retch action and spent the second action Retching again to remove the effects, so they didn't move. I forgot to apply the Sickened condition to your other targets. I forgot to make a Fort Save for your last target, I'll do that now. EDIT: It upgrades 1 step to a critical success.[/spoiler]

Evindal readjusts his aim. The Red shirt's bravado backfires as the skunk smell leaves him vulnerable to a critical hit that knocks him right off his feet. He isn't getting up after that.

Evindal readjusts his target to hit the other frontliner. The first attack is a direct hit while the follow up catches them in the splash.

**HOUSE GM ANNOUNCEMENT**

Venture-Captain Luna Aldred pants after the exertion of the fight. As she catches her breath, she smiles confidently, her fangs gleaming in the light of her wayfinder.

Her gaze lingers on what can only be the legendary lost city of Raseri Kanton. It looks like the dwarves that lived there merely stepped away for a minute, rather than fled centuries prior. A great temple to Torag stands just past the entrance, and the rest of the city unfolds past it.

“I think we’ve done enough for now,” she says with a chuckle as she moves the unconscious body of an Aspis agent aside. “We need to finish securing the site and ensure there are no more snakes lurking around. As much as I want to start documenting Raseri Kanton, it will have to wait for another day. For now, let us rest and celebrate our victory!”

I’d like to extend a giant thank you to all the GMs that ran this year’s Special, and all the players that came out to vanquish the dastardly Aspis Consortium. I hope everyone had fun and will make running and playing in our mutli-table specials a regular tradition. Thank you all!

No worries, GM - there's a lot to keep track of! And thanks so much for running this - I had a blast. This was my first time playing Evindal since the remaster rules came out and wow he is so much more fun to play now. They really did a good job with the remastered alchemist.
