Current things up in Vikla, prot from evil one minute, divine favor about half a minute, resources used, 1 channel, 1 level 1 spell 1 level 2 spell. Should be a +2 to AC and saves for everyone, as I assume these guys are actually evil.

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

Hundreds of remains float in this large bowl of water, which
churns with bones, scraps of flesh, and the carcasses of
strange, almost alien fish. Just visible through the roiling stew
are humanoid bodies floating in the water, wan corpses drifting
near the bottom of this cauldron like sleeping guardians.
The water churns and seethes in this cavern, giving
occasional glimpses of its contents but mostly concealing
anything beneath its surface. Visibility is generally 5 feet
or less in the water.
Two figures hang from the ceiling above the churning
water, bound hand and foot with thick strands of seaweed
and sinew and weighted with heavy ingots of silver—the
kidnapped sailors from the Man’s Promise, including
Sandara Quinn.

Double move, assuming it's difficult terrain from where I was to begin with.

Actually where you are at it is not difficult terrain. The water though you will need to make a DC 10 swim check.

Capricia moves with the others, swimming when necessary. Expecting a battle, she keeps her buckler handy while trading out her falcata for the new-found rapier.

Maybe it's my old eyes, but I thought the passage to the big cavern was shaded for hooky-traps. CRAP! Wish I'd stowed the buckler for that extra +1 on the Swim!

Sorry; my post either got eaten by the board gremlins or I forgot to hit Submit. I just had Capricia double-move (including a Swim) to the SE corner of the giant monster.

Vikla shouts as she unleashes her most potent spell, a burst of radiance erupts, damaging and perhaps blinding both the whale and the brinebrood queen!

If they are evil, they take damage: 3d4 ⇒ (2, 3, 1) = 6 damage, they also must pass a DC16 reflex save or be blinded for duration: 1d4 ⇒ 1 rounds, if they pass the save they are dazzled for 1 round instead.

She then uses her move action to begin moving towards the brinebrood queen.
