Despite his question, Nuts hesitates for a few minutes. Ultimately, he does not step onto dry land, instead choosing to muck around the ship, finding whatever work makes him seemingly busy. When there is no work to be found, he spills over a bucket, curses loudly, and cleans the mess up. He repeats this four times before figuring out something else.

Ships brought here for refitting are hauled up out of
the river into this dry dock by teams of oxen pulling on
dozens of thick ropes. Once the ship has been seated and
secured in place, workers descend on the ship in a swarm
and work in shifts day and night to complete the “squib”
as quickly as possible in a cacophony of hammering,
chopping, and swearing. Torches mounted all over the
dry dock at night create quite a spectacle for anyone
interested in watching the work.
Nuts may not have wanted to do on dry land, but the ship is taken there into dry dock! He will get little sleep on the ship nor much peace for the next week!

However, all she finds is some weird person going on about something called non fungoid tokens, some assassination backed currency that is apparently all the rage in the Abyss.

Between that, she sets up 1on1 interviews with crews young and old, in a pretty relaxed atmosphere, trying to find out if anyone has any special skills. You never know when f.e. carving skills, a reasonable singing voice or proficiency in an unusual language would come in handy.

For those that accepted the invitation, you arrive at the
boathouse to find a half-dozen of the locals setting up
the game in the shade and another pair pulling on the
rope where the keg of beer has been cooling in the water
overnight. However, the rope jerks suddenly and one man
is pulled into the water with a scream while the woman
has the palms of her hands burned bloody where she was
holding the line. The screams and thrashing in the water
indicate the man who fell into the water 5 feet below is not
alone.

Originally one of Rickety’s off-duty workers got pulled into the river by the rope that had the beer barrel on it. It was soon clear that this was an attack. Laroisael and Emma rolled init and Lariosel was hit by magic missles. You should hear the sound of combat and the other workers yelling for help!. When you get there you see what appears to be a big snakelike creature in the middle of the river. You will need something ranged.

Nuts spends his time chilling on the deck, keeping himself busy or sleeping. As he wipes the portside railing for the 87th time, he looks up at the sky, and curses under his breath. "Damn clouds! Bugger off!"
And the clouds respond to him? To come closer? And they sound like Vikla?
"I'm going insane. Or did it happen already? Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?"
He perks up, waiting for other sounds.
