Did Demonica recognize the little creature? Can she do a Recall Knowledge Knowledge now?

With time to think, Demonica recognizes the creature as a Haniver Gremlin:

Hanivers are the most benign type of gremlin—capricious fey who skim the waves on rubbery fin-wings. Though they don't actively sabotage their environment, sailors bemoan these gremlins' grasping fingers. Hanivers' incessant curiosity compels them to examine any object that draws their attention. Such treasures might include an overturned fruit basket, a sack of coins, or a shark's gleaming teeth (often still in the shark's mouth, to the fey's regret). Should hanivers like what they find, they steal it, making them a bane to fishers and dockworkers everywhere.

I haven't given out Hero Points in a long time, so let's say one for Bireli for bravely traversing the abyss, and one for Puddins for a creative solution!

I'm posting this to all of my tables: My apologies for my delays and/or minimal posting for the past few weeks. There has been an unusually burdensome conflux of time sensitive urgencies both at home and at work, some anticipated and some not. Things are beginning to finish up, but I expect it to take another week until I'm above water.

If they're susceptible to off-guard, Bireli is flanking with Henry. I found an 18 that missed. Maybe 19 hits? Just checking.

Oh, good point! 17 does hit off guard. The creature is still up for Demonica to kill, though.

I've been bad about giving out Hero Points in this campaign, and this is a tough fight. Everyone gets a Hero Point as we dig into this challenging combat!
