It's a teleportation spell. I move from point A to point B as a bolt of lightning anything in the way gets roasted.

With surprise spell I can sneak attack with it too.

I must just have Gerard on the brain since we were talking about him in the Phantom of the Opera movie and how he makes us melt with his voice. I get goosebumps every time I watch it. Oh Lala.

Havin my lunch, waiting for oatmeal to cool a little so I don't melt something with it. Had a paramedics driver geek out on me....or something, it was totally weird. I've been going around saying goodbyes and getting numbers from people who said they'd give a good reference if I needed one or wanted to stay in touch. If there was anything about the hospital I would miss, it would be this just E4.

Yeah....Id have to wait a whole year for all those stupid points to fall off before I could even apply anywhere else. Wendy is upset of course.....she really wanted me to come over to E4 permanently. I told her I was sorry and I couldn't deal with the rest of the Hospital anymore and couldn't keep waiting around for them to decide they were gonna post the position. I think I mighta hurt her feelings a little with my bluntness.....but it is what it is. I'm not gonna be guilted into staying. *Shakes head* Nope nope nope.

I don't know if I screwed this up or not...

In another game. my character received a single wish to be granted by a demon.

I totally went away from wishing for power and fell back to my character back story.

I wished for him to see his love (that was killed) on last time, to say to her what he never got the chance to say before.

do you think I screwed up?

If your GM is evil, yes she'll be a wraith or something worse and probably kill the party.

If your GM is awesome you'll be rewarded for not trying to break the game and keeping it in character.

Wellll......it's hard to say. Most demons aren't known for being trustworthy. Really it's a gamble. I never mess with wishes because.....well, the chance of them being used against the person making the wish. It really depends on how your GM plays it....but, your wish was one of the most beautiful and selfless ones that I've ever seen. I don't think you made a mistake, I just hope there's no backlash. Good luck with that. :~)

I was in a game where our party's bard asked an Ifrit for money, instead of using his wish ability to conjure gold he transformed himself into my character and went and stole it from the king. Leaving many bodies and many more witnesses as he did.

I don't know what to do with Gashka right now though. I don't know if I should just be a good girl now, or start feeding him things off my plate and take it from there. LOL

I'm bad....very very very bad....but I've also gone a few days without a full cycle of sleep either. And while I may be functional right now....it still hurts to walk into doorways. Lol I'm not blind and last night at work on three different occasions, in THREE different rooms I tried walking through a sliding glass door. Lol Just went to the wrong side of the door is all. What? They're confusing with their weird curtains and doors that swing out....just saying.

Then while trying to squat down to check a piece of equipment I almost planted my butt in a trash can, and yes, the nurse was in there and saw me do it.....I was mortified, but I laughed my ass off when Lee said, "Hey...what are you trying to do? Throw yourself out?" I was dying sooo bad. LOL

And that right there....is why Karen learned a long time ago....when offered a wish you politely refuse. LOL Not exactly the same thing....but I've seen too many bad things happen to good characters because of wishes. I tend to stay away from them....period. But that's just me....

right now I have visions of one of my RL games...

Player is playing a dumb as bricks cleric/barbarian.

they came to a river that had a ferry boat to take them across to the town.

the townsfolk brought them to the ferry and said to take the ferry into town.

his reply:

"Fairies, You have enslaved poor innocent fairies?"

he then jumped into the river to look for the "Fairies"

It only got worse as he then believed them to be evil fairies and they lived in the water. he then proceeded to begin the combat against the river.

and thus ended a game night of some serious story advancement.

Nah, it was this inscription that said "No man may pass without paying tribute to the water" (that we didn't notice until later). The female characters walk across just fine and I go to follow and I'm assaulted by monsters. So I get upset and spit in the river and that solves the issue. I was going to give another form of tribute, but I wasn't that upset.

I talked to the job agency today: drug test came back clean and we're just waiting to hear from the call center. They will try and find me something Monday if I don't hear from them by then.
