The problem is, if the enemy's turn comes before mine, posting an action that might have to change because of what happens before it doesn't make sense.

As it is now more than half the party's actions come after the enemy's turns. It doesn't make sense to post an action that is likely to be irrelevant by the time it comes around does it?

I did a bit more homework on combat reflexes, and yes he only gets one hit on Ulricha as she charges. In my mindset if you provoked more steps would could be hit again. But reading about the mythic ability that speaks to hitting the target again, he does not get more than one hit per target.

Well to tell you the truth this week has been one challenge after another. Lots of work which has taken a lot of my overall time. Then on Tuesday I came down with some kind of stomach bug. I was out sick Wednesday sleeping to recover. Then sleeping and catching back up to a healthy state. Sorry for my absence this week as you can tell it has been rough.

It may be worth knowing, that teleportation hex can yoink an ally but once per day. It's a great way to save someone, or get them past an obstacle, so i'm reserving it for occassions, unless someone really wants to get it for tactical purposes.

Alice regarding teleportation hex:

So, Markus knows how Succubi work.
He may think a) there is a variant profane gift that allows the mortals receiving the gift to teleport, but allows allows the Succubus to teleport a gifted mortal when and whereever she wants to.
b) Alice is totally not a Succubus, because heck, she may be a Lilitu
c) her gifts are very potentially dangerous
d) if Markus thinks she is a Lilitu, which is probably very funny rp-wise, he will be super polite to her.After all, he worked for Nocticula before.
e) when Markus at some points figures out Alice is not a demon, there will be an RP gold mine.

As you have scouted around the fort you know:

M1. Front Gate: The iron gate across the entrance to the keep is kept closed and locked at all times. In front of the gate you see two black obelisks which have searching fiery eyes on top of them.

A dark miasma, like a fog, seeps from the watchtowers and ramparts of the fort. It crawls down the walls and makes a 10 foot wide bank. You think that stuff will not be good to breathe in or touch.

You haven't seen anything move.

Kev thinks, "Well, I am not a rogue type to pick the front door and probably not possible of opening and the fog doesn't look healthy. There has to be another way in? But what the hell, maybe the Wardens already unlocked the front gate?"

Kev tries the front doors anyway, slowly, cautiously, and quietly as possible, to see if they are open. But he keeps an eye out for anything strange or dangerous.

Who is with you? You can have your normal retainers, they are weak so likely not. You can have two high level guards. You can have another Council member. Katrina is an option but going into enemy territory isnt her thing. Maybe Saren, Larina, or Eris. Others could be picked.

You avoid the miasma and find an opening to push on the front gate. They don't budge then you have to quickly retreat.

Other than the worms being burned recently and people chit chatting I really have no clue. I know people are spread out on the map but I thought that once the fighting stopped we had grouped together.

Jorne asked what I wanted and then insisted on scouting after I said stick together (don't really care thought it was funny). He clearly wants to scout ahead.

I must have been near Jorrast cause we were talking about wands. But honestly I thought once the worms were burned people were regrouping.

So whatever makes sense.


Yes I know many movements let me put them in order:

Most of the group retreats into the tunnel.
Jorne uses flasks of acid and fire to kill the last swarm in the tunnel.
Jorne emerges from the tunnel then goes to scout.
Quince hands Jorrast a wand of fireball.
A few of the others return to the cellar.
The fire wall drops, revealing the last two swarms that survived.

Black feathery wings sprout from his back in a flash of light. He nods and grabs Eris with one hand, securing his greatsword to his back. Then he grabs Kev as well. He flies up and away from the fort, only to turn back and soon you are flying above the fort. It looks like the Miasma is a cloud over the top of the fort.

"Shall I fly through or what?"
