Nothing is wrong with it. Quince just walked up having rushed over hearing a pitched battle and when he pops his head in the door there is a tense diplomatic stand off. He figures he has some catching up to do.

I'd add it on profile atm, but an edit profile is missing on my phone display.

For when we get into combat, Alice's priorities are these.
Protective luck, which she obtains through ritual hex daily, on the frontliners. Followed by evil eye to debuff enemies.

Should an ally come dangerously close to going ko in combat, she uses the warp mystery ability to yoink them to safety. Any ally within 30ft, and she can place them anywhere within 30 feet that she can see. Limited for 1 use per person per day, useable on herself as well.

Her spell selection will be what she has on her profile page. Though i might switch out a spell for something else.

Team, your thoughts on strategy?

If i summon the hound archon before combat, we'd be pressed on time to knock out the possessed rulers, with 7 or 8 rounds, but have the extra bonuses right away.

On the other hand, if i summon it on say round 4, perhaps we'd have a few more rounds if we can beat them before the archon vanishes.

I mean if you summon mid-battle the anti-possession will still be helpful, because anyone who got possessed before he arrived would get a new save immediately if within the range of protection.

Ulricha is going to go hard at the demons, she's not really made for knocking things out without killing.

The blood monk lady mentioned her master possessed the lord of the keep, his concubine possessed the Lady, and a Shadow demon possessed the wizard.

And shadow demons are a nasty piece of work, too.

@GM i have a few questions, as this new situation is wholly unexpected.
I keep Alice out of as little risk as possible, so a sudden clustered picture is weird to see.

1) When did i suddenly get surrounded by guards and oozes?
There weren't that many close to me before? Particularly not to all full attack me. They were with the other partymembers. The closest threats were the Baron and 1 guard.

2) As mindless, oozes don't know tactics? As in, deciding to leave all other targets and go for the girl in the back.

I am very confused by all of this, Alice's round actions may have to be different, depending on all of this. Last in initiative is a very vulnerable position. I move around depending on proximity of enemies, if enemies all decided to move towards me, Alice wouldn't play a sitting duck. :/

@ Ulricha, i am probably going to have different actions and position, based on the answer of the GM, compared to what is displayed on the map currently. Enemies supposedly will too?


These are deamons not oozes, you have identified these before. I put oozes for simplicity when their husk is destroyed.

I have been posting attacks based on what I expect to happen, as we catch up to it adjustments can and will be made. Excellent point, let me look and give you options.

The wizard is flying 30 feet up. He is looking over the 20 foot tall opaque wall of fire. How would the tentacles affect him? I thought she put it on the floor not the wall.

Bouncing? I have been trying to condense actions together as people catch up. What do you want me to do?


(D) Dismissible: If the duration line ends with “(D),” you can dismiss the spell at will. You must be within range of the spell’s effect and must speak words of dismissal, which are usually a modified form of the spell’s verbal component. If the spell has no verbal component, you can dismiss the effect with a gesture. Dismissing a spell is a standard action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

A spell that depends on concentration is dismissible by its very nature, and dismissing it does not take an action, since all you have to do to end the spell is to stop concentrating on your turn.

So Quince stop concentrating on the wall of fire after he put it up. It will last 7 rounds. He cast it in round 2, so it will drop in round 9.

Ulricha you can charge through the fire wall if you want. I feel like you might stay over here and help us. Your choice.

I believe you have found everyone you were looking for. As you finish looking through a good portion of the keep you will find no living creatures or people besides the few soldiers and those around you now. There is no sign of the wizard or the Mistress. They must have teleproted away.
