Alice could be suited for most things related to high mental stats.
But personality wise, high priest would not be one.

If Alice is the caster of the spells, she'd be able to see herself.
Invisibility is an illusion (glamer) spell.
Illusion says "Illusion spells deceive the senses or minds of others." and "A character faced with proof that an illusion isn't real needs no saving throw."
Since you cast it yourself, you know it isn't real. Thus you can see yourself.
The rest of us would still be screwed.

If my spirit familiar hides in my backpack or under my mantle, it showing its head is an indicator for you.
Alice is then able to see herself. With her spirit familiar he could be seen. Though you have to get through 20 feet of the miasma first.

Now I am awaiting a response from Xan and/or Ulricha to communicate and then to move forward somehow. Do realize that you are on a countdown and your actions are crucial... We are not in combat yet but perhaps we start with Round A, then B... when we get to it surprise round, then start combat!

Okay I have reviewed invisibility and I was correct. You cannot see yourself as others do not either. They don't get a save to disbelieve. If you save against the harmless spell it does not work.

I could have cast communal prot from evil before went in, but we'd have it for a minute each. Less with the rounds we spend waiting for enemies to show up.
I'd recommend waiting until we have an idea what we may be seeing. Don't waste a spell that we may want later....

We're standing around unable to see much of anything or each other (even ourselves for that matter), I'm not even sure what the point to us going through the portal is, and everything feels like a trap.

Guardianship (Ex)
At 1st level, the sworn protector may select a ward, a person whom she must protect no matter what the cost. When in combat and the sworn protector’s ward is within 10ft of their ward’s position, the ward gains a +1 morale bonus to their AC and savings throws. This bonus increases by +1 at 5th level, and every four levels after that (9th, 13th, and 17th level). Additionally, the sworn protector may add her guardianship bonus to her attack and damage rolls as a morale bonus if the ward is within the sworn protector’s guardianship range. This radius increases by 10ft at 6th and again at 12th level. A sworn protector may only have one ward at a time at 1st level; they may then select a second ward at 8th level and a 3rd ward at 15th level. To select a ward, the sworn protector must take ten minutes discussing tactics and practicing with his ward so that he may learn how best to protect him, and from there on he practices those tactics when he readies his maneuvers. A sworn protector may dismiss a creature as his ward at anytime as a free action.

Defensive Intercept (Ex)
With swift speed and trained instincts, a sworn protector is capable of sudden bursts of speed in the defense of a chosen ward. A number of times per day equal to 1 + the sworn protector’s warder initiation modifier she may leap to her ward’s defense with lightning speed. As an immediate action, the sworn protector moves up to her base speed to a space within 10 ft. of a ward who is being subjected to an attack or effect that would cause harm, to thereby grant her guardianship benefits. This movement is subject to attacks of opportunity. If the sworn protector is too distant to reach her ward, she cannot use this ability.

Shared Counter (Ex)
At 3rd level, the warder’s ability to protect those around him expands to allow him to use readied counters with a range of personal to protect another as long as he is adjacent to their position. If the counter is unsuccessful, then the protected ally must rely on their own defenses. He may use this with no daily limit, but only as often as he has an immediate action to initiate a counter. Additionally, in the defense of a ward she may use her defensive intercept ability as part of the same immediate action to use a shared counter. This ability functions with the extended defense class feature.

If it'll help us complete the requirement faster, Ulricha can also contribute to the hit point drain. If she drops down below half she can use regenerated figure to regain 2d8+7 hp, after which you'll have vast healing 1.
Nowhere near as good as Jorne or Alice, but should be enough to keep her alive. Also at that point you starts converting hit point damage to non-lethal damage and her damage reduction is doubled against non-lethal
