I'm not sure if Xandarian would fit into an open spot on the council. Leadership, Hell! LAW is a new and different concept for the chaotic good paladin! For right now, the caydenite is okay with being rank-and-file.
Whenever I think of Cayden Pallies I think of Captain Morgan (They guy on the rum) forcing puritans to have a good time.
Cayden Sacred Liturgy:
Leader: C'mon
Congregation: Drink Drink Drink

@Ulricha
translation derp (english is my third language), I meant to write "likely more fun for the player of Ulricha" and then it got shortened.
Also, you put in a kingdom job description and I didnt, so you get dibs.
I think kingdom jobs are just stats? My 21 in diplomacy may actually be reasonably high.
Other question, can we use spells to boost our councillor stats? If yes, Markus burst of insight spell from spiritualist is actually quite impactfull.

Ulricha the Unkillable |

For it to count as a stat boost in the Kingdom-building it would have to be permanent or ongoing, like a magic item boost, not something that lasts rounds/minutes/hours per level.

Quince Medvyed |

Its the words genie, wish, and contract. LOL

Sulvanii the Councilor |

Well yes, that is how I wanted it to sound... well impactful rather than soul binding. You don't have to take part in the bounty of the Greenwatch.
He has been on his best behavior for years and now with some fresh meat he was having a bit of fun.

Quince Medvyed |

Level up. On one hand yeah level up on the other hand lots of internet book keeping just in time for Thanksgiving.
Thank you.

Quince Medvyed |

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Quince Medvyed |

As you are leveling up probably should take the time to describe what your I don't want to stand out in a crowd outfits look like.

As for the Commoner appearance;
Alice will dye her hair ginger. The outfit she's going with (via sleeves of many garments), consists of simple looking boots, a plain looking blue vest and pants, with a simple grey cloak. Very much the low budget traveler look, is what she is going for.

So do Xandarian's rainbow wings tuck in enough to be inconspicuous or are they just all hanging out like the X-man Angel. His wings (when they were feathery) could never tuck far enough away.

They def did not, and he actually used harnesses and trenchcoats in the early, pre-Defenders days, to try to look inconspicuous. It is one of the reasons why I think one of the Hawkman reboots allowed Katar to "grow" his wings; a lot like Wolverine's claws really.

Ulricha the Unkillable |

I believe Xandarian said something about special pocket dimensions for his wings.
I did.
Mashed potatoes for me.

The drinks, obviously.
I was habitually confused about Thanksgiving as a kid when I learned english.
First, who gave them whacky Yankees Tanks in the 17th century, and second, why are they constantly trying to eat a sizeable near eastern country with which they are supposed to be allied?
Markus Bloodrager 7/Fractured mind one

GM, i'm still considering about my new selected hex. One specific shaman hex provides a crafting feat for magical items.
In regard to that;
-Are crafting feats allowed?
-In relation to downtime, do the books mention some hints of how much time a break period lasts? So to consider if it would pay off to take one at all.

Oh yes! Crafting feats are allowed and encouraged! Yeah we may only have one foray per month, take an extended stay say a year, there is a bunch of down time.

Kendryl |

Happy Thanksgiving! That is if you celebrate it.
Bonus time: What is your favorite food for this holiday.
Sweet treat/dessert
Turkey
Stuffing
Mashed potatoes
Green beans/vegi
Deviled eggs/egg thing
Olives
The drinks
Cranberries
So I cooked for the new husband (who will also be a new American) but missed some of the above which I adore. I will say that my brussel sprouts and green beans (fresh, not campbells soup with dried onions) were both amazing. Reading Wolf's list, I will own that I would love a deviled egg right about now.

Alice Emmington |

I'm not from the states, but thing's i'd like from that list,
Turkey.
Olives
Cranberries
Sweet treat/dessert.

Jorrast Feorte -Human |

I don't like cranberries, but most everything else listed is great. But, I got sick for Thanksgiving so didn't get to fully enjoy the national day of gluttony!
I'll get my level up figured out shortly.
As to appearance, I'll stay in human form and I'm sure that I can get my mithral chain shirt dirty enough to not look special. Wearing a rapier and dagger shouldn't make me stand out in a crowd.... and I won't have any ioun stones circling.

Jorrast Feorte |

Hair under the surface of the skin is alive. What is visible is not. Played a sorcerer in a previous game and was the hair dresser for the leader of the group. But it looks like that is resolved....

Jorrast Feorte |

Level up done. Several skills, BAB +6, and Rogue talent Slow Reactions.

Quince Medvyed |

holy postings. 17.

Bag them, use them as good aligned weapons against the monsters.
I'll sort my chosen spells out tomorrow.

Is the farming village and a town or are the same?
Do we need to roll to determine if it is Fort Drelev? Jorne seemed to be asking.

Jorrast Feorte -Human |

If it's not the fort, those of us that look normal can approach openly, possibly as mercenaries seeking information about employment?

GM Wolf |

Is the farming village and a town or are the same?
Do we need to roll to determine if it is Fort Drelev? Jorne seemed to be asking.
There is a farming village off to the South some 500 to 800 feet away. Plenty of space where most couldnt see you even if you had torches lit.
Then there is the river. Beyond the river is a decent sized town and beyond the town are the massive walls of a fort.
K local check would be a good option to determine if it is Fort Drelev. You could also do a K Geo check, K nobility check though a much higher DC. You could also do a diplomacy check and learn from the few farmers that are out where you are located.

Yes Jorrast!

Ulricha the Unkillable |

I don't remember any concrete plan being set in place either.

Sorry folks, my time has been flush with work and holiday activities for my students. I will likely not be able to post much tomorrow night either with my energy likely being low from the daily concerts and Robotics final projects. I get through this week and will have two weeks off to enjoy the holidays, family, and post to my hearts content.

Xandarian Quartermain |

Happy Birthday Weekend, GM Wolf!!!

Zsófia Dobós |

And many happy returns!
