Hopefully this will be getting more chatty soon. :)
I am looking forward to playing with you all.

![]() |

Only four of the six players have even dotted in. I have posted some introductory material in the gameplay thread, but no response yet.

![]() |

Reminder to everyone to fill out the RPGChronicles Sign in sheet. As of right now, I only have two people signed in

![]() |

<Oh me oh my.> a shirren bursts in. Such a chaotic mission. Is there anything I can do to help?>
Passing an Aid Token on to you all. Use it well! (Or boost it and keep the hot potato going!)

![]() |

Watch out, the GM's dice are hot, hot, hot! ;)

![]() |

I put a copy of the Aid token text on the slide with the Status report. I also updated the status report.

![]() |

I would appreciate it if (some) people would make an effort to check for obvious spelling mistakes at the very least. This is a PbP game after all. :)

![]() |

You select one of the actions from the Aid Token, use it and we pass the token to another table. Alternatively, you can Boost some of the items and pass the token along without using it.
Also, the text at the top of the Aid token I put on slide 4 tells how to use it.
I apologize for my spelling mistakes.

![]() |

I was not referring to the GM's spelling. :)
I beg the person in question to simply read over their posts. I will leave it at that.
@GM Computerpro82 - It is not clear if the Aid token requires an action to activate. Does it?

![]() |

If you are referring to me, English is not my mother tongue, sorry.

![]() |

I expect people to be tolerant of typos and misspellings, especially in a game like this where English is may not be the primary language for many players. Also, people are posting from mobile devices, which makes proofreading harder.
As long as I can understand what you mean, typos and mistakes are acceptable to me. After all, this is a game we play to enjoy it.

![]() |

I want to spend 1 RP for recovering all SP.
And I prefer to avoid starship missions (if it is possible); in PbP are very slow.

![]() |

I agree with you Keskochu. We can stay away from starship missions if you like. :)

![]() |

@GM Computerpro82 - Do we have any idea when a long rest is coming up?

![]() |

@GM Computerpro82 - Fair enough. Are we allowed to purchase equipment on the ship?

![]() |

Go ahead and use the same rolls, but redirect them towards Black. Token moved to provide Mincey with flanking next round, provokes AoO.

![]() |

@George 09-23 yes you can make additional purchases between missions in Parts 1-3. There are restrictions when we get to part 4.

![]() |

Rolling to hit should be for minions only. ;)
Of course XD

![]() |

@GM, it looks like Mincey already posted right before your second-to-last post.

![]() |

Good point. You can always reassign Mincey's damage to another target. :)

![]() |

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't realize Mincey and I passed each other. I will revise.
In the meantime, talk about using or boosting your Aid Token.

![]() |

Not sure I understand Keskochu's question. You have been given an unboosted Aid Token. As far as I know, all the aid tokens are the same, so the one shown on slide 4 will give you your options to use or boost the Aid Token. If that was not what you were asking about, please reword your question.
OK, I was thinking it was like Pathfinder Token Aids (each token is from one concrete type). I read slide 4, in my opinion we may use it and pass it. Perhaps for healing (all the group, 1d6) or do more damage in one attack (1d8).

![]() |

If we are going to use it for healing then we should probably wait for the combat to be nearly over. No one is in danger of dropping and that way we will be able to (potentially) heal more people. :)

![]() |

Hopefully this will be a quick combat, as the enemies lost half their HP when the condition was announced.

![]() |

They could have made the writing a little more spicy. Perhaps some friendly fire from a Pathfinder ship exploded nearby wounding the enemy troops. ;)
All in all I will take an easy win if it is offered up. :)

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Per the announcement on the gameplay page and based on the earlier discussion here, I assumed you did not prefer to do Starship combat, which means regular combat to defend your starships from Jinsul boarding parties. I posted that preference on the thread where the GMs are coordinating which groups tackle the two tasks. In earlier GM discussions, several GMs were surprised at their group's enthusiasm for Starship combat, so I am pretty sure we will be OK repelling boarders.
If I am in error on any of this, please let me know.

![]() |

@GM Computerpro82 - My character is at full SP/HP. He did not take any damage last mission.
I think I had -1 SP for our last encounter with the jinsuls, but after that we use a Token for +1d6 HP / SP. So I have 30 HP 28 SP.

![]() |

Anyone wounded (HP)? I think I may use lifelink for healing 4 HP (exchanging my HP for your HP).

![]() |

Mincey was in rough shape so I called in the medics. Use it or lose it. :)

![]() |

After use the token ... Have we to past to another table the token or directly GM sends it?

![]() |

I don't know how they can cram this special into one four hour slot. It must be pretty crazy! :)

![]() |

I ran it face-to-face in February 2019. They gave me a table of four at Tier 1-2, and three of those people having never played an RPG before, one had played DnD but none of them had played Starfinder. I was fried at the end of the night.

![]() |

I believe it. Four new players is a handful under any circumstance but for a multi-table event it would be a real challenge. :)

![]() |

Yes, multitable are very tough for the GM (and for the characters!). I Gming all specials PF1 except Runecarved and my favorite one is Legacy of the Stonelords.
