Glad you all survived the holiday. I have been nursing a painful back strain that's kept me away from the computer most evenings but its starting to improve.
I'm glad it is improving but definitely keep a watch on it and take care of yourself
Question, did Teacher Ot give us a deadline for this task, or can we take our time alongside our regular studies?

Teacher Ot did not specifically say the task was time-limited. He wanted those books for his research but he gave no indication that it was an immediate need. He didn't say you could take your time either however.
Can we assume you used remaining healing magic and spent time damaged or broken items like shields during your down time. If so, everyone can start with full HP and refreshed equipment.

Sorry that I have not been around for a bit. I've been in the hospital the last few weeks, and I'm fine now. I just got home on the 24th, and that kept me busy the last couple of days. I'll get caught up over the weekend and be back to normal activity by Monday.
I'm back from the holiday chaos as well. The hotel was NUTS between families staying for Christmas and making nuisances of themselves and a FOOTBALL TEAM checking in on CHRISTMAS EVE (the Detroit Lions, if you're curious). <_<
