Something in Pava's last post reminded me — what time of day is it, GM? I have been assuming it is still late at night on Toilday the 19th or has passed into the very early morning of Wealday the 20th, since Gaekhen's funeral was described as lasting late into the night, and then this set of scenes — hearing the allegations and going to find Trinia — happened immediately upon most of the party's return to the city after the funeral.

Hey all,
So I got some bad news Tuesday about my paternal Grandfather. He's been battling cancer and, more recently dementia. I think it's only really sunk in just in the past few hours that he's not going to get better. My sister and I visited with him yesterday, and other than saying hello and good-bye, he spent most of the time dozing.
I'll keep y'all updated as I can. I'm going to be unplugging for a few days. Bot me if needed. I'll be back as soon as I can.

Thanks everyone. I think I'm going be about as good as I'm going to get for a while.
He did have to go to the hospital, but he's doing a lot better and should be coming home today.

To follow up on Shrike's good points about next steps - Pava won't be the one to hook us back up with Cressida/the Watch, but they are now sufficiently ride or die with the rest of the Sabor Smugglers/Wolves in Lambs Clothing/Harrow Huddle that they also serve as a workable connection to her as a quest giver. (Prev meetings being as favors to Thousand Bones and Orsini)
So no more Pava wandering off without personal stakes :-p

I was just about to update the gameplay thread. :)
No worries about Kroft, although you can absolutely visit her if you want to - and I know Elric at least wanted to report to her. I think for now we can draw the curtain on this in-game day and move to the next morning. Any vignettes you want to insert about what your characters do tonight/in the morning, feel free to do so but it's not required.

Also, I'm thinking that it might be better to find an alternative meeting place. Audria isn't going back to the Sanctuary at least not until she's sure that the hammer won't come down on them if she shows back up.
GM, before I post the vignette, are you okay with me assuming that Jessica and Tally heard some rumors about what happened and maybe even that someone was chasing us through the Shingles?

She is, but has put away the distinguishing elven branched spear, composite longbow, and elven curve blade, and pulled the hood of her cloak up to mostly block sight of the mask. The rest of her Shrike outfit is like a common burglar or random tough: dark clothes, cloak, and boots; darkened chain shirt; and openly wearing a sap, silver mace, dagger and backpack for equipment.

I admit, I thought Audria already had her hair changed and such by Jessica and crew a night or two BEFORE the day of the execution so she wouldn't be recognized so I figured Audria is pretty safe? Did I get that wrong?

Yeah, but now she's been seen firing arrows at one of Queen Ileosa's lackeys after that. I was thinking she'd need to change it again since that one's been attached to the ruckus at "Trinia's" execution.
Besides, I thought it'd be a good excuse for everyone to get a new look, especially Shane since I remember someone mentioning wanting to be mor fashionable.
(Aaaaand I'm really enjoying writing for Jessica. I was kinda hoping I could get an opportunity for her to tease everyone in the party. Everyone getting new looks seemed like it'd be perfect.)

Nips at Heels is planning on busying themself with work only tangentially related to the crown, and focus in on some of their aidwork for the day off. I'll try to put up a representative vignette, but I'll be heading off on vacation for a week and gotta get packed and squared away on top of normal Sunday stuff.

Some party members have already met Galewing, although very briefly. But it’s tricky to fit a hippogriff into an urban campaign. Even more so now that we may want to keep a low profile.
Related, Elric’s feat choice this level puts him further on the path of pure archer rather than switch hitter, although he still packs a significant punch in close combat. But with Precise Shot, he can provide effective support from the rear.
Once we hit level 8 and Galewing can carry a rider while flying, he’ll be able to act as a mobile firing platform for Elric, who can send off 4 arrows per round with very decent damage and accuracy.

Sidenote: The reason I know the Acadamae robe colors is because I Played in a short lived game set in there (With some tweaks) . I played an Abjurer and discovered he would be stuck with boring brown.
Still beat the poor Orange wrapped Illusionists ;)

I did not know that. Talk about serendipity, I just picked what I thought would be the most garish color someone could trick Shane into. I didn't know he'd actually have to wear orange robes as part of his uniform!
Now, I just need to figure out if Jessica's an enchanter or a abjurer. She'd probably take Necromancy and Evocation as her barred schools.
