I'll probably get combat started, but 3 of you won't have control of your tokens until I can figure out who you are on Roll20. :P

Stranger to the milling lay, but not to the sword.
Also, what does this phrase mean? Google has not helped. I get results about milling being part of readying the ground for laying asphalt. If that's what you meant....I still don't know what you meant by it, lol.

Oh, I meant "the milling lay" as cant for "the housebreaking profession," straight from Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue. "To mill" is to rob, steal, break open - presumably from the fact that the process of milling grain breaks open the hard husks to get to the seed inside. That's also why she said earlier they were "milling the swag" - robbing the shop. "Lay" is just someone's preferred criminal enterprise, occupation, or lifestyle. She also does think he is not a common laborer, though.
P.S. I've also been trying when appropriate to use the Korvosan slang that the Guide to Korvosa provided and the wiki has so helpfully reproduced. That's where "pincher" comes from.
@Everyone: What's the consensus on botting? How long would you like me to wait before advancements? I believe the initial recruitment had listed 1 per day if possible, but I didn't know how you all are feeling lately.
And FYI, tomorrow is going to be a big move day. Heavy and large furniture and essentials which means I will effectively be living in my new place as of Friday night.
Posting may be short or less colorful as I may be doing it from my phone while I get internet sorted out, but if I can get my laptop running, I should be able to stay descriptive and (hopefully) interesting.
Given that Tally's not going to be in combat unless something goes wrong, I think I'm okay with her not having one. If need be, She'll hide in Audria's hood.
Re: Botting - I think it's normal for most GMs to give 24-48 hours for combat and maybe a little more for when we're waiting outside of combat. I'm fine with moving on after a day or two to keep things moving.
All the big furniture got moved. Of course, internet isn’t working at the new place for reasons, so I must beg your indulgence on the posting delay. I‘ll try to get something together here soon.
Sorry for being missing in action. Ended up taking a sick day yesterday, so I was away from my work computer. I will do my best to get something up soon.
Ah, I made a small boo-boo in my Round 1 summary. Here's the corrected entry:
Garrett successfully targets Imp-ly Awful and sends a devastating arrow its way. However, suddenly several sigils of text like lines of a contract appear in the air, and they simply stop the arrow in its tracks and it falls to the ground.

Shrike definitely doesn't, but does anyone even have the ability to make a Knowledge (Planes) roll to know why our attacks are doing less damage and the imp healed some damage?

Ah, Shrike's not trained in that. I'm definitely going to put a background skill point in Knowledge (Local) at L2, but for first level chose to put the one after Perform (Dance) in Knowledge (Nobility), which was clearly the thematically wrong choice, as reflected in her abysmal rolls of it thus far. Hindsight 20/20 and all that.
I had some trouble getting to the forums yesterday. Is that the same for the rest of you? I've seen a remarkable drop off in posting across all the threads I'm involved in over the last 48 hours.
