GM Frost |

Let's talk out-of-character stuff here.

GM Frost |

Welcome to the game, everyone! A few rules to abide for everyone:
1. Kindly fill up the information needed in Slides and Macros linked above before we formally start the game. Also, please make sure to at least have the following information on your character's stat block for easy reference: Hit Points (HP), Armor Class (AC), Saving Throws (Fortitude, Reflex, and Will), Perception bonus, and Speed.
2. Post at least once everyday, and once on weekends. As we play the game, I would like to remind everyone that as per the Organized Play Foundation Community Standards and Expectations, it reads:
No Character-versus-Character Combat
In keeping with the “Explore, Report, Cooperate” motto of the Pathfinder Society, engaging in non-consensual character-versus-character conflict is prohibited. While accidental friendly fire happens due to missed attack rolls or other factors, players must obtain the consent of other players before deliberately including fellow PCs in damaging effects [emphasis mine]. Engaging in character-versus-character conflict will award Infamy points and may render a character unplayable. This rule does not apply in situations where a character is not acting of their own free will, such as if they’re being mind-controlled by an NPC and forced to attack a fellow Pathfinder.
3. Enjoy the game. :)

Banterknell has Sooth, so he can do healing too, and we all get a potion. And a bard loves a melee heavy party.

GM Frost |

Waiting for Bun Helsing to fill Slides and Macros before we continue. Don't also forget to put your icons for Marching Order in Slides, it's on page 3. Anyone with GM glyphs to share are welcome.

![]() |

Urgoth, how far is the group in Abomination Vaults?

![]() |

2 glyphs, and Macros/Slides done.

GM Frost |

Banterknell, please fill up the Macros too. Thank you. Everyone starts with one hero point each. Bun Helsing has two which will go to Based on Macros except Bun: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 6) = 7, Slipp and Banterknell.

![]() |

I can do healing
Urgoth can do lay-on-hands for 6hp per focus. Not a lot, but it is easy healing outside combat.
Urgoth, how far is the group in Abomination Vaults?
Hey there!
I think we're about 1/2 done with the third floor. And I think that means we are close to finishing the first book?

"Dithcrimination against rabbitth! I'll thue!!"

GM Frost |

I'm sorry, Bun! I missed to find your name, maybe because of your stature. XD

![]() |

I added BK to the macros slide.

![]() |

Though, this is actually a sincere OOC question: which would provide a fortitude bonus against mushroom spores that require a fortitude save? Antitoxin or Antiplague?

GM Frost |

Zisiro, your glyph is welcome, let's give it to Based on Macros except Slipp, Banterknell, and Zisiro: 1d6 ⇒ 4, Nikma.
Though, this is actually a sincere OOC question: which would provide a fortitude bonus against mushroom spores that require a fortitude save? Antitoxin or Antiplague?
Well, it depends what the mushroom spores will cause, either a poison (use antidote), or disease (use antiplague). From the other games that I usually play that had mushroom spores, they're usually poison, wink wink.

Zisiro, your glyph is welcome, let's give it to [dice=Based on Macros except Slipp, Banterknell, and Zisiro]1d6, Nikma.
Thank you!

![]() |

the grin on BK's token is totally terrifying... :)

![]() |

Isn't it though. Truly captures his desperation.

![]() |

Which direction are we traveling? The current arrangement, relative to the direction I thought we were moving, has the front line in the back and the backline smooshed around in the front.

GM Frost |

You are going northward.

![]() |

Going to be out tramping for a few days. Please bot me as required.
Typically uses electric arc as first go-to spell
+7 to hit, 1d4+4 damage two targets, ref DC 17 for half.

Have fun! Keep safe though! :)

![]() |

Yes, I forgot to add a reaction if/then. Typically I'd like to leave it raised until the 2nd or further hit to keep the AC bonus longer. Or if I'm close to death, you know, like now apparently.
Actually, does the AC bonus go away after using shield block? So then it wouldn't matter what hit number I took (as long as the shield stays intact), right?

GM Frost |

No, you still have your shield raised (+2 item bonus to AC) even after the Shield Block until the start of your next turn, unless your shield becomes Broken. And unless you Shield Block, your character takes all the damage if the Attack roll is equal to or greater than your AC (+2 when your Steel Shield is raised).

![]() |

Thank you for the clarification/explaination.
That makes sense. Then I should be able to use it for the first hit against me unless the shield is likely to be broken in one hit.
Urgoth has proven to be very very squishy so far. But he's saving up for full plate at level 2, so that should help significantly

GM Frost |

The bounty is about to end, kindly check your chronicle info on the sign-up sheet linked above the thread. Bounties do not grant Downtime.

GM Frost |

Note that Lay on Hands also grants a +2 status bonus to the target's (Urgoth's in this case) AC for 1 round.
The +2 status bonus to AC will work only if the target is an ally, wouldn't it? About Lay on Hands. And you are not your own ally. Though I would love to have that bonus for myself. XD

GM Frost |

It's alright. I get to do that too sometimes. The important thing is we learn from one another.

![]() |

Thanks for the reminder either way Zisiro. I do keep forgetting about that aspect of lay on hands.
For such a short bounty we are learning a lot together!

![]() |

Under 'cast' - the icon represents a free action. Compare it with the icon for Shield, which is 1 action.
I don't see any differences. The Cast icon looks the same and points to the same location. Under the icon it just says that if your next action is to do a performance, yada yada. Why does that signify a free action?

![]() |

It might be hard to tell the difference between the "free action" icon and the "one action" icon. Especially depending on your screen/device. They look almost identical.
If you look at the larger right-side portion of the icon:
- in the "free action" icon, that is an empty outline of the shape
- in the "one action" icon, that is a solid filled-in shape
The below link shows them more side-by-side which might help?

![]() |

Cool. Now I see it. Pretty subtle.

GM Frost |

That ends the bounty. Thank you for playing the game. I will be sending your chronicle sheets and report the game as soon as possible. I will also archiving this game thread in the next few days.

Thanks a bunch Frost. I was fortunately enough to get into both of your bounty runs and they were quite enjoyable. I'd love to play with all of you again in the future.

GM Frost |

The game is reported and HERE are your chronicle sheets.

Chronicle lookth good. thankth GM

![]() |

I'm good too.
