Ok, sorry for the misunderstanding, I'm bad at visualizing based on descriptions. I'll assume we aren't levitated after all since it isn't necessary.
Jellena Darkling
|
You would notice Jellena pulled a metal cylindrical object from her belt and holds it like a handle of a weapon. With her other hand she drew her pistol.
Following the twisting canyon for about 100 feet you see the vegetation looks gnarled and much drier. Another 20 feet and you go around another bend to find the path descends into a gully. Several cave entrances dot the far side of the gully. One has a pelt of some kind covering it.

Krysta Amethysta
Krysta was a bit surprised when a full dragon came and landed nearby and her eyes widened. She hadn't expected to see another half-draagon, let alone a full one! She had to admit she was kind of jealous but knew it just meant that she could possibly earn the ability to become one later on. She grinned and said, "Hi, it's nice to meet you Jean."
Krysta realized all of a sudden she had not introduced herself yet and stood up, seemingly without trouble since she didn't seem to be thinking about it too much, and said, "I'm Krysta! Krysta...," she hesitated and looked at her coloration, and said, Krysta Amethystra and yeah, I never met a goddess, at least not that I remember, and have never gotten an overview of this place."[/b] She smiled brightly and added, "Fortunately it seem slike I may have gotten lucky."

Ramie did her best to follow suit but she was not used to moving stealthily. In her former life, she’d had a habit of knocking stuff off tables with her oversized butt. Spatial awareness had never been her strong point, and she tended to underestimate the clearance required for her substantial caboose when maneuvering in tight spots. Sort of like swinging a tight turn in a classic Oldsmobile when you’re used to the handling of a hatchback.
The trend seemed to follow her, quite literally, as she crept along close to the cliff face and swept a cascade of pebbles off a natural rock shelf with her backside. It wasn’t quite the gong of a stainless steel coffee cup tumbling off the corner of a desk onto a tile floor, but it still served as a detriment to their attempt to sneak up on their quarry.
Floof, however, had no such complications. A natural hunter, she moved easily and with little noise at all, still snuffling for the scent she'd followed here.
GM Wolf
Floof looses track of those in front of her but can still smell them.
Ramie is barely able to make out Jellena, as you continue you notice it getting darker and darker, soon you won't be able to see.
You hear some humming echoing off the walls and the occasional clop. You almost don't hear your own steps. You hear the soft steps from behind as you see Jellena 30 feet back beyond her you see Ramie easily.
You get to another pelt and peek beyond it. You see a well muscled biped with horns growing from his head. You also see Lucy happily swaying to the humming and sitting on the edge of a large bed. There is a poultice on her knee.
Will save DC 23: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (10) + 15 = 25 Sound effect, calm emotions.
You feel the spell like ability wash over you but are not affected by it.

Jean de Montes

"Its good to meet you Krysta. Several other new Chosen are running around. If you say Blue Screen, Jean says as he opens up his own Blue screen, "a screen will appear that has a lot of useful information. It offers quests for you to build up and grow. It also allows you to access some of the benefits that you get from completing the quests. I suggest you open up your screen and see what there is for you to do."
Jellena Darkling

Krazok Vell Firesource
As mentioned by Jean he adds, "You are but the third new Chosen we have met today." He looks to Jean and wonders out loud, "I wonder if more will come." He looks back at Krysta and asks, "Would you like to do a quest, work on flying, or something else?"
Seeing Krazok has things in hand the children begin to dispurse.
Ramie Jae
She moved through the pelts, calling out in greeting, the Floof following on her heels. "Hello the home! I hope you'll forgive the intrusion. I was looking for a lost little girl. Oh Lucy! There you are, thank the gods you found her. Her father and brother were so worried. Oh did she hurt her knee? Poor dear, you're so very kind to help her like this. My name is Ramie, it's lovely to meet you."

Also once in range, her Aura of Friendship will kick in:
Aura of Friendship (Sp)
Any creature within 60 feet of the character must succeed at a DC 21 Will saving throw or have its attitude adjusted to friendly toward both the character and any other creatures currently within the aura’s area of effect, as per charm monster. This positive attitude toward other targets of the ability lasts for 1 day after leaving the character’s aura. A creature that leaves and reenters the character’s aura can attempt another saving throw. A creature that successfully saves against this ability is immune to that character’s aura for 24 hours. Being attacked by another creature within the aura (including the character) immediately ends the forced friendliness toward that creature and prompts a new save against the aura, with the standard +5 bonus for being threatened while charmed. The save DC is Charisma-based.
Zaidel
Taking a deep breath, Zaidel steps into the cave.
"Fear not. The Gods have sent us to heal the woman's injury."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 44 ⇒ (17) + 44 = 61
Krysta Amethysta
Krysta nodded in understanding as Jean told her to say "Blue Screen" and repeated, "Blue Screen." When the screen opened she began to look through the information available to her. After a quick review of the information she checked out the available quests as she responded to Krazok, "I definitely want to learn to fly better soon but let me see what I have here first."
GM Wolf
The bull headed humanoid turns on Ramie and snorts at her. She sees the large and very pointy horns turn her way.
Barring her from getting to Lucy with his own body it seems to bark at her with harsh words.
Giant: "Who are you, what are you doing in my home."
It takes a moment but then Zaidel speaks in a similar tongue and the minotaur lifts his head and horns. Still ready to gore anyone stupid enough to rush him.
The blue screen comes up, you can see your character sheet, a quest search engine, a digital spellbook, and even an inventory listing.
Jellena Darkling

She whispers under her breath as Ramie moves forward and speaks to the host. "D@mnit stupid girl."

Ramie Jae
Ramie frowned at the insult, whispering back, "You said to be diplomatic, so I gave it the old college try." She had, in hindsight, been a bit hasty having misread the situation in her wishful assumption that there had been a misunderstanding. The expression had proven true, never assume or you'll make an @$$ out of u and me...
Realizing she'd come across an intelligent humanoid who spoke not a word of common, she raised her hands away from the weapons she wore to show she meant no harm and began backing away slowly.
Non-verbal Diplomacy: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
Idly, she found herself wondering if all minotaur in these lands were evil like in Pathfinder or if the two Elder Chosen's presence had inflated the challenge rating for this encounter. Though there was a minotaur in a first level PFS scenario she knew well. Hmmm, maybe she should have started with the chickens like Zano...
Silently, she said a little prayer. 'I did ask for unexpected friends and challenges, didn't I? Well played, Desna, well played. Please let luck be with us so I can help get Lucy safely home to her family!' She thought her prayer with fervor.

The satyr motions to the girl on the bed, then takes out his healer's kit, then points back to the girl.

Zaidel kneels before the girl on the bed and checks on her condition.
Jean de Montes
|
Jean looks at Kyrsta's screen and says, "It looks like you can join in on the chicken hunt. I could probably help with that as well. You can maybe practice your flying while you hunt for some chickens."
Krysta Amethysta
Krysta gave her character sheet a look and then the spell book, not that she had any spells,as she listened to the various suggestions. She then shifted to her quest log and entered the suggested search parameters She skimmed through them and saw several low rank ones that she could work on and one other that caught her attention about deciphering a code.
For now Krysta nodded and said, "Yeah, I can help catch the chickens, and learning to fly as I do sounds like fun." Krysta chose the quest and then said, "Alright, there. Now...how do I find where to go?"
Krazok Vell Firesource
He states, "Normally you would talk with the locals but I know where farmer Holt lives." He then points in the direction offering suggestions on how to work on her flight. Soon following with a jump his wings form out of the cape.
☆☆☆
Soon enough the three reach Farmer Holt's lands and Krazok lands.
Zaidel
Zaidel slowly and deliberately walks back to the others when the girl's wound has been bandaged.
The satyr then points to the girl on the bed, then gives the minotaur the 'thumbs-up'. The cleric then points to the girl again, then motions to himself and his two teammates, then points toward the pelt leading out.
Bluff (Suggest Course of Action): 1d20 + 32 ⇒ (9) + 32 = 41

The satyr points at the girl, then makes the motion of holding a baby in his arms. Zaidel then points to the pelted cave entrance.
Bluff (Suggest Course of Action): 1d20 + 32 ⇒ (7) + 32 = 39

Zaidel holds his hand out for Lucy, hoping for the best.

GM Wolf
The minotaur looks at you... then Lucy... then hands her over gently. He follows the group as you exit his lair queit and almost defeated. Then he slowly follows you in the tunnel. Finally following you out of the gulley.
Soon enough you are out of the forest with the minotaur tagging along about 30 back from Lucy.
Zaidel
Still holding Lucy, Zaidel leads Ramie, Jellena, and the minotaur back to the draconic civilization.
"Oh..my..Cayden..!" The satyr whispered from behind his teeth.
Jellena Darkling
|
Likely in the tunnel she asks, "So he is just coming along? What's going on?" She keeps backing up.
Ramie Jae
Ramie was very eager to be on their way, still feeling foolish for her near fatal mistake. "I wish we could talk to him. He seemed like he wanted to help her. Is it possible he knows something about her mom going missing too?"
Jellena Darkling
|
She replies to Ramie, "I am sure someone speaks giant in the group and then we can find out."
☆☆☆
Back near town she uses her ring, "Can anyone hear me? We need someone who can speak giant at... farmer. No, the lost girl's farm."
Krazok Vell Firesource
He responds using the ring, "I can speak giant, I will be there soon. Sorry Krysta I leave you in Jean's capable hands. I will be back soon."
The words meant for another still go out over the ring and all owners within 10 miles.
Krysta Amethysta
Krysta was relieved she had met such reliable people on her arrival here and nodded in acceptance, "Thank you for helping get me here Krazik," Krysta said after the trio arrived at the farm and he had to leave. She looked to Jean and said, "So, we should go talk to the farmer right?"
Looking around Krysta tried to find the farmer and thought she identified someone who would fit the bill. She approached the man and asked, "Are you Farmer Gradley? I came to help with the chicken problem." She looked at Jean questioningly to see if she should rather have said "we".
GM Wolf
The wild black haired farmer responds to Krysta in a long baritone drawl, "No ma dear, I am not. I am farmer Holt, James Holt. Well thank you the other boys have done well so far five of the eleven have been caught, six more to go. Oh watch out for the last one, it's always a doozy."
Loose Chicken Quest:
Perception DC 16 - 1 per 30 minutes,
If successful, you do a CMB vs. 18 to grab one.
This could take a while. You could help another like Zano who makes the CMB check a 13 as he spooks a chicken towards you.

[dice=perception]1d20-1 So finds nothing for the next hour unless someone helps him.
It seems like Zano can assist someone else but would not be successful on his own. Krysta/Jean.
Krazok Vell Firesource
He flies up and away from Krysta and Jean, on the way he asks, "Where am I going? The Juthinza Ranch, Pa, John, and Lucy. I will be there in a few minutes. Tell be what has been going on."
Zaidel
"I'm holding Lucy", Zaidel says, as he hears the conversation from his Jellena Ring. "Please tell Krazok that we have a non-hostile minotaur following us to The Glade. We need someone to talk to him on our behalf. Jellena, please relay that to our draconic friend."
Jellena Darkling
|
Jellena hands Ramie a ring and continues to speak to Krazok over the ring, "We found the girl with a minotaur. We aren't sure why but the minotaur brought her back to his lair. He put a poultice on her and after some pantomime Zaidel was able to have the minotaur hand Lucy over. Zaidel, Ramie, did I miss anything?"
Zaidel
"Sounds about right", the satyr adds.
Krazok Vell Firesource
A few minutes pass and he lands 50 feet from those assembled dropping his axe into the ground. He walks up to the minotaur empty handed speaking in giant. The minotaur speaks back and takes a step back.
Minotaur, Uh, oh. That makes sense. Yes you are the protector of the Golden Glade. I meant no harm.
Krazok, "Tell me your story."
Minotaur, I was hunting in the forest. I found a boar and took it down. It was distracted and had hurt the girl. She was the unfortunate distraction. I took the boar and girl back home. There I made a poultice and sang to the girl. A while later they arrived. I wanted to make sure she got home to her family.
Krazok, "ok thank you let me relay that to the others."
(SM: 1d20 ⇒ 6
He comes back to retell the story, "A boar attacked her. The minotaur killed the boar. She was hurt and likely out cold. He took care of her back at his lair. He just wants to make sure she is back with her family."
Zaidel
"Krazok? Could you please tell our new minotaur friend he is welcome to join us as we return Lucy to her folks", Zaidel offered.
Ramie Jae
"Boars again! Desna's Wings, the things are a bloody menace. That's what killed me and poor Floof." Ramie exclaimed in exasperation. "Would you tell him thank you, Krazok? And that I'm sorry, for um... barging into his home. And that I'd be happy to help him smoke that pork if he wants. I used to make one helluva smoked pork butt back home." She proclaims, nodding emphatically.
