Not seeing the spider he holds ready to attack.
well shoot. The spear was purchased as his starter and the only weapon he has ever used. I will update the profile to match his paper. Not sure how I omitted it.

It happens. The only way Viridian can reach the spider is if he charges, so I'll assume that Mrs. Book steps aside to let him pass.

Mrs. Book blasts the blue spider again, then clears the lane for Viridian. The druid sprints out of the fog and spears her target; it's still up after the assault, though it looks like one more good hit will drop it.

Absolutely. He just has to say the word and she will nimbly skedaddle.

Viridian can't see it, and I don't think Blitz can communicate with him to let him know that it's back. The visibility issues with these first two levels are less than fun to get through, unfortunately.

Oh gawd... this level has the weird darkness going too? man.... @GM: I need a status on our light sources and a light indicator on the map before I can post my actions; thanks!
| DM Carbide |
It's not darkness like the first level, it's an obscuring mist spell cast inside the room. So in the room the conditions are arguably worse than on the first level (light sources don't help, and even close targets have concealment), but the whole level isn't like that.
Tibearius

Ok thanks GM!
Tiberius steps next to the wolf, drawing a dagger as he goes, and cuts the animal loose from the nasty webs.

Corbrae, you don't know the location of the spider. Keep the roll, though, in case you get to where you can see it.
As Tibearius enters the mist and approaches Blitz, he sees that there's a wounded spider hanging from the ceiling over the faithful hound.

Blitz already tried to attack this round and missed. Viridian rolled an attack, but wasn't where he could see the spider--it wasn't until Tibearius entered the room that the party knew where it was.
| DM Carbide |
Viridian, are you using a longspear? If so, you'll have issues with concealment. In any case, that's a miss.
Viridian stabs at the spider, the point of his spear glancing off of the creature's tough carapace.
