With just about 24 hours left, here are the current standings:
Another Night at The Broken Broadsword - 43
The King is (un)Dead, Long Live the King - 32
The Felonious Few / Your Last Chance - 30
Holding Out for a Hero - 27
You get a Kingdom, and YOU get a Kingdom - 24
Fortune, Fame, and Honor Among Thieves - 19
Stonefall: the Beginning - 17
Under a Twice Cursed Moon - 14
And as requested, here are my thoughts for where each game might take place in Golarion:
Another Night at the Broken Broadsword - this game needs a setting with lots of environmental variety, and not too much structure. A fractured nation with a smaller/weaker government, where the wilds are dangerous. Varisia, Brevoy, and the River Kingdoms all come to mind.
You Get a Kingdom, and You Get a Kingdom... And YOU Get a Kingdom! - an island far off the western coast of Avistan.... Could the ruins you are sent to inhabit possibly be a forgotten piece of ancient Azlant?
Fortune, Fame, and Honor Among Thieves - The nation of Taldor is a tainted, greedy, shadow of its once noble self. Where better then the capital of Oppara to set a game about a den of thieves?!
Holding out for a Hero - Nowhere can more heroes be found, and this their apprentices, offspring, and followers, then the center of the world - Absalom. Of course, this adventure will no doubt take them far and wide, but the Jewel of the Inner Sea will factor in their story.
Born Under a Twice Cursed Moon - the Land of Nex almost fell to magical cataclysm during the war with Geb - hell, the Mana Wastes are proof of that. Perhaps the end of the war came at the will of the ancient heroes... But their efforts are now failing.
Stonefall: the Beginning - Though a few northern lands are populated by "barbarians", the Lands of the Linnorm Kings and the mighty Ulfen who call it home I believe most accurately fit my vision for Stonefall. Mighty Norse heroes, whose rulers have literally slain a dragon single-handedly, that sounds like a people of legend...
Felonious Few - Long have the citizens of Andoran fought to cast off the reigns of Cheliax, but the devil-worshippers play by a different set of rules, making it near impossible for them to repel their former masters. Perhaps it's time for them to employ a force with looser morals to help even the odds.
King is (un)Dead, Long Live the King - There are two locations that jump out as obvious settings for the hordes of undead to have conquered - Lastwall/Ustalav (after the Whispering Tyrant escapes), or Osirion (perhaps the Pharaohs of Ascension have returned). A third option could to end the undead horror that is Geb, perhaps even with some PCs whose families have been in exile from Geb for... Oh, 5000 years?

Smooshie, Jereru, and Mythic, I have updated your votes according to your wishes.
It seems the setting overview for each proposal may have altered people's opinions of the options. To allow consideration, I will extend the game selection phase by one day, to allow everyone a chance to alter their votes if so desired.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the board, for those of you checking in looking for the final game selection, you likely missed my extension of the voting by one day in a previous post. With the release of settings for each potential game in one of my earlier posts, many people expressed interest in adjusting their votes. You are welcome to change your votes, and may do so through tomorrow night. At this point, with 24 hours left, here are the standings:
Another Night at The Broken Broadsword - 42
The King is (un)Dead, Long Live the King - 34
The Felonious Few / Your Last Chance - 34
Holding Out for a Hero - 27
Stonefall: the Beginning - 26
You get a Kingdom, and YOU get a Kingdom - 24
Fortune, Fame, and Honor Among Thieves - 16
Under a Twice Cursed Moon - 11
Daynen, I like the suggestion, but don't want to drag this phase of the recruitment out further by adding elimination rounds. That said, it does look like Fortune, Fame, and Honor Among Thieves and Under a Twice Cursed Moon are both pretty much out of the running. Something to consider if you are thinking about making adjustments or casting a vote during this final day of voting.

Today is a good day to... halp |

If you look at the spreadsheet he linked, it appears Archetypes are allowed inherently, but one of the demi-gestalt options is the use of multiple archetypes.
I'm not sure if this is instead of the normal limit that allows multiple archetypes that do not modify the same class ability, or if the point is it allows archetypes that do target the same class ability. Combining the two could stack 3 or maybe even 4 archetypes on the same character and class. I'm thinking that could get to be a headache pretty quick.
Thank you, hustonj, for the heads-up on that [Those bottom headers kinda threw me off there, heh]. :)
Definitely looks like you can add two non-compatible archetypes with however many archetypes that could normally be compatible in a given class, plus the extra options for superior BAB/spells/skills and so on. ;)
And as requested, here are my thoughts for where each game might take place in Golarion:
What a difference in having some more specifics for a background setting can it have upon the polls! Still will keep my original choices the same here though. ;)

Hmm, I wonder if I could be the barkeep?
1 - Broken Broadsword - a tavern needs a barkeep!
2 - Stonefall - vikings like their ale
3 - You Get a Kingdom - every new kingdom starts with a tavern
Thinking about it, couldn't Another night at the Broken Broadsword essentially be all the other seven adventures? I mean, if something new happens every night, these could all be stories within the story.

If there's still time, I'd like to reorder my picks:
1.) Game Concept: The King is (un)Dead, Long Live the King
2.) Game Concept: The Felonious Few / Your Last Chance...
3.) Game Concept: Born Under a Twice-Cursed Moon

It sounds like a game that lacks focus, and is by far the most vanilla of the options. Out of 8 potential campaign ideas it's the only one that I have absolutely ZERO interest in.
I at least like my vanilla with...sprinkles, or peanuts or SOMETHING, but definitely prefer chocolate.
"You all start in a tavern" is an easy way to start a campaign, but that's all it should be. It shouldn't be a main focus.

Tara Ravenheart |

I love the premise of Stonefall, even moreso once the setting was established; sadly, it looks like that is not happening. And I like the idea of The King is (un)Dead, but worry with the Demi-Gestalt rules, we are all just going to be a bunch of morose, paladin/ranger/inquisitor/cleric hybrids smashing through every boney body we encounter... so if there is still time, I would like to adjust my choices as follows:
1: Another Night at the Broken Broadsword
2: Stonefall: the Beginning
3: The Felonious Few

Well, that was an exciting end to the voting!
I am already awaiting the cry of, "I demand a recount!" I am pretty sure I have cleanly tallied, and then adjusted, any and all votes throughout this phase. And whether I use the established timeline (11:59 pm EST - which is confirmed by my countdown, and thus ends with Trawets81's post), or wait until the last post made before I wrote this (Tara Ravenheart), I come out with the same answer...

Another Night at The Broken Broadsword
Character Themes: tavern regulars, classic fantasy tropes, tropes remixed
Campaign Arcs: anything is possible
The Broken Broadsword is a rundown, ramshackle tavern and flophouse that has been repaired and rebuilt so many times, a first time visitor might wonder how it even stands. Smelling constantly of stale beer and body odor, it is nevertheless the fabled watering hole of countless heroes throughout the ages. On any night you can find a rogues' gallery of characters awaiting the next bit of trouble - a hooded man stumbles out of the rain and with his dying breath drops a relic from a forgotten ruin, a demonic fiend is accidentally summoned by a drunken warlock, pirates storm in and press gang the passed out guests into a crew, the King's chamberlain sneaks in seeking volunteers to rescue a missing royal child, a pickpocket opens a seized scrollcase and discovers the legend of a mystical artefact, the praetorian city guard storm the place to arrest the entire house, or hordes of zombies come marching out of a nearby crypt seeking one of the Broadsword's guests - it all could happen on any night!
So, we begin Phase 2 of this recruitment. Reminder that Character Build rules are in the first post of this thread. I am sure I will need to answer questions about certain aspects of the Demi-Gestalt ruleset as character creation moves on. You are encouraged to use the Character Themes listed above to create your concept - so a character one might find in a fantasy tavern, potentially using a classic fantasy trope - but will it be a straight presentation, or a twist / interpretation of an old classic? This is meant to have a fun, light-hearted, nostalgic vibe - so embrace it. Let's see some characters!

Raquel Cailean |

I'm excited for it as well. A fun, light-hearted campaign is always welcome. :D
I'm going to be submitting a cleric of Cayden Cailean, a "prince in exile" trope with a twist! I've got the backstory done from a previous Kingmaker game. I'll just need to rebuild according to the demi-gestalt rules. I'll aim to get the crunch done in the next few days!

Almonihah |

Hmmm... maybe if the theme is 'anything can happen', I'll go with one of my stranger character ideas. Ktinos the Beast Vessel, a Prowler at World's End Bloodrager whose spirits, rather than the normal four, are four powerful monster spirits who fight over trying to possess him. I might ask if I can do some weird things with the demi-gestalt idea to support this. :D

Storm Dragon |

I'm excited for it as well. A fun, light-hearted campaign is always welcome. :D
Nothing against fun and lighthearted it's just, hrm. A combination of factors.
The first is the admitted bias; I was really attached to the description of the Felonius Few so there's honestly a chance I might have been unhappy no matter which other option got picked.
Deeper than that though... I've got a lot of PbP experience. And in that experience I've found that the best way to keep a game going snd everyone having fun are two things: focus and momentum. A clear goal at all times and the ability to push toward it.
I've had a lot of games fall through recently (both in PbP and my kive groups), so I want something that'll last, you know? And this game concept lends itself best it seems to a fun romp that burns bright for a couple months and then fizzles out.
But I really do mean it: I hope everyone has fun. You can't argue with democracy. =)
Maybe a good night's sleep will leave me feeling less melancholic.
Did we settle on where the game is taking place? I'd prefer Varisia of the options listed, I think the potential hooks there are a lot more interesting.
My first instinct is to do something with dwarves.
I think the GM said they were thinking Oppara (the capital of Taldor) but I may be wrong.
Edit: Ah, no, that was the Honor Anong Thieves one. Broadsword seems a bit more open ended, so maybe it'll change based on the party makeup?
A suggestion: somewhere in the Shackles is probably a good fit.

Mightypion |
Character concept in two sentences:
Incredibly gregarious and fun affine Bloodrager, who is also an oracle of a yet to be identified Spirit of "partying really hard" (plenty of options).
Returning from a job as a mercenary/hired muscle for some cavern exploration (Giant spiders, oozes, clingy boss, pompous prick of a paladin... not the greatest job but at least it paid well), he/she just wants to unwind and slay some booze at the broken broadsword when suddenly...

Hack Anslash |

At work, so can't post it all, but I'm working on Reynolt "Rain" Silvervein, a Dwarf Bard specializing in drinking songs, epic dwarven poetry, and dirty orc limericks.
His secondary class will be Barbarian. And before any suggests Skald, I don't like the idea of his songs not giving bonuses to the whole group, and just the melee types.
In any event...more to come.

Robert Henry |

Another Night at the Broken Broadsword - this game needs a setting with lots of environmental variety, and not too much structure. A fractured nation with a smaller/weaker government, where the wilds are dangerous. Varisia, Brevoy, and the River Kingdoms all come to mind.
Do we know which wild and wooly area were going with? I will edit my halfling unchained rogue's background to match the location. Still not sure what the Demi-Gestalt class will be, but will start working on it.
Edit:
STEP 2 - Subclass... or up to two archetypes (they do not have to be compatible) from your primary class
So I could select two archetypes like burglar and Knife master and not lose any of the Class Features, since the other archetype still provides them?
With the backgrounds: if the characters class already has those skills, does it add a + 1 to them?

Mightypion |
Having never built an oracle before (first time I looked at the curses etc. in depth), I came up with the idea of having my Abyssal Bloodrager possessed by an Erinye (who will provide great degrees of saracastic commentary) and the actual character will be really into chaotic partying, loud music and drinking because it annoys her "guest", combined drinking and loud music in particular.
Why does she have a guest like that, well, Dad had concerns about her Abyssal Bloodrage and made precautions. She and Daddy are not on great terms.
