Thanks. My info and token is added. For the Exploration activity, I picked Scout, and my Initiative includes the +1 from Scouting. I also noted that my Thievery & Underworld Lore are from my Expert Hireling (who I will introduce, along with my Eager Protege, in the Gameplay thread).

I've never used RPGchronicles before, but went ahead and signed up.

Welcome to the group! Feel free to start roleplaying. Waiting on one more to dot in before continuing.

I think I got it all filled out

I always forget with quests ... We don't get our school supplies on quests, right? Do we not slot boons either? If so, my entourage will just stay behind while we go on the mission.

I believe you don't get school supplies. Unsure about boons - will double check.

Radiant Oath

I would like ti pick up three Holy Waters before we leave town.

Looks like we're playing low tier (3-4).

By the way, when we get to Hero Point distribution, I am a 3 Glyph GM, and would give those Hero Points to Mindartis Nightbreeze, Mirtha Darklight, and Olnik Shadowstone, since the are the other lower level characters.

Horizon Hunters

So we have a lot on our plate here. Should we go with the gnome first?

Mirtha, that spell makes you almost like a defiler from Dark Sun.

Sorry to hear that!

And from what you said before; I'm not familiar with Dark Sun but the main idea for this character is that she is a fire and brimstone preacher who gets her power from Hell itself. She can't accept that her powers come from an evil place (being a judgmental fanatic), and since Sarenrae also has fire as a big part of her profile, it's become a natural explanation for her. So besides healing, I'm always looking for spells that seem kind of sinister but wouldn't be considered anathema and sudden blight seemed like a good choice.

Plus I genuinely thing its a pretty cool spell because it can also remove difficult terrain and counter act spells like entangle.

Defilers in Dark Sun have a magic that destroys the natural world, turning it into desert.

Thank you.

A bit better now, not so queasy and I am eating more substantial food than just jello.

I know that summon animal only works for a minute but would that be helpful to help out in athletics, like having a bear or something help carry things?

The GM commented on this earlier. I might just be a situation where we need X number of successes and they're just giving us multiple skills we can use. From experience; I would guess that how many successes we get will effect how tough the next encounter is when we inevitably get swarmed by undead.

Yeah, this is really just a skill challenge/exploration mode more so than an encounter/active exploration.

There are four phases and each person has to do one skill. Even if everyone fails their checks, you can assume that you've done enough work to move to the next phase. '

If you had wanted to summon a bear, you could have done so and have it roll an athletics check, but then your Nature roll wouldn't count.

That makes sense.

Eustace and Avonathalanthalasa, please remember to sign up on rpgchronicles so I can get you your chronicles!

Thank you guys! Hope this was a fun game for you all.

Planning on running Quest 12: Putrid Seed sometime in the next few days. Let me know if you're interested in joining in on that game too.

I should be good. Please let me know when you are recruiting the next Quest

Okay, here are the chronicle sheets! Game has been reported! Let me know if anything looks wrong and I'll try to fix it.

Will likely set up next quest either tonight or tomorrow morning. Have a job interview later and then a Halloween shindig tonight, so we'll see if I have time today.

Hope everyone has fun and look forward to gaming with ya'll again.

Disappointed we didn't get to blast some undead with level 2 heals, but it was still a good scenario! Thanks for running it and look forward to the next one!

Yeah, that's the problem with quests, they tend to be a bit too short. But they're still fun to play!

If anyone is interested in Quest 12: Putrid Seeds, here is the recruitment thread.

Will leave this post up another day or so before inactivating it. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to PM me.
