Hello. I will be away in nature and away from computers and the ability to post this coming Saturday and Sunday (11/6-7). I will return and resume posting late Sunday (US/Pacific time).

...it only took 10 damage (from an 11 or 31), did Jim miss the second shot or is there a bit of fire resistance happening that we weren't planning on...

Second shot was a miss.
Second shot actually was a hit. Just. I'll fix hp.
You've been fighting it long enough now to get a good feel for its defenses.
EAC 22, KAC24.

LOL ok I was starting to worry there was something we missed, adaptive damage reduction or something.
I admit this thing is throwing me a bit, vulnerable to electricity but seems to have DR vs electricity - I think the designers are being a bit tricky there :)
SFS 05-99 BftB
I think they just went with "all critters are vulnerable to electricity" and thought, what would a super powerful robot that had lots of tricks available to it, and knew it was vulnerable to electricity do? Protect itself.
It's kind of nice idea in some ways. low level electrical threats are no problem for it now, but the big guns (essentially avg damage 17 or higher) still do better with electrical attacks.

The old 'Infernal troll' trick, give them some fire resistance to really upset the party :p

Congratulations and well done.
Thank you all very much for playing. I'll try to get the chronicles out tonight, but I'm a bit coldly so it may be slightly delayed.

That's fine ... thanks for running .... now I need to find a game of 4-10: The Way In for this PC.
SFS 05-99 BftB
Subtle!
I'll almost certainly run 4-10. I'd have already advertised a table, but I'm playing at the authors table at the moment, so want to get well started on that before spoiling any surprises. That said, I won't wait too long. Probably after my Band-on-the-run table finishes to keep from having too many games in progress at the same time.

Chronicles are now available.
Thank you all once more for playing. Please do check the chronicles.

looks good - thanks! That was a pretty funky scenario, some nasty enemies.
Jim made an 'ok' meatshield I think.

Between fighting defensively and your bot giving covering fire, that first blow almost never landed.
Poor big robot.

It may (or may not) surprise you to learn I have already started spending credits to keep building on my tried and true tactic.
I have bought a grenadier mount and a NIL merc grenade launcher for Busters weapon, and loaded it with smoke grenades. Jim now has clearsight goggles that ignore the concealment from smoke.

Yeah I think we all learned a valuable lesson about the power of concealment! I'm going to buy smoke grenades for most of my characters now.
Thank you for GMing! I really enjoyed it! I really did think we were at risk of a TPK there for a minute, so that was fun!
Also, I am recruiting for Rats Repentance under my GM moniker Badblood, if anyone has a low level toon they could use some credits for. I know I do!

I'm sure I can rustle one up if you need a sixth.

I posted in the Flaxseed station thread, so you could find the link there. I only have two people interested so far. I though it'd fill up faster, so feel free to jump in.

Thanks for running Aerondor!

My pleasure. I'm kind of curious now if it panned out as your brother expected, or if I went off the expected trajectory.
