Tharbenia: Kingdom Sheet

My last time blowing up the thread for a while. My last crunch is finished (building is fun even if I never use the character) and in this profile. Very little gold spent so far and flexible with party comp.

Highlights:
1. Good face skills. ~+11 for all three.
2. Very blasty. 4d4+12 burning hands 7 times a day.
3. A little bit of other magic utility.

Re: Quarterlings-- yes, they are meant to be "the half-elf but for halflings", so they do count as human and halfling the same was half-elves/ half-orcs do.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

My ideas as they stand, will do further development if chosen.

Tharbenia:
Character Name, Race, Class/Archetype, Role/Build
Marie Pontmercy (tentatively) CG/CN aasimar (maybe garuda? but half half-orc), Infiltrator Inquisitor of Jarrett
Ranged Damage, Secondary Healer, Debuffer

Council Role and How it was Earned
A mid-to-high (false) clergymember of the church of Pacifica, and despite her nobility, a voice for faithful commoners (and secretly hoping to undermine the Church's strength in the nation and make the cult of Jarrett legal once more). With her Discern Lies ability, used to test the loyalty and truth of petitioners at Court (ironically).

Brief Background Information
Raised by her noble aasimar father and her adoptive mother, a short few years ago Marie found out her mother did not give birth to her. Prior to that, she had been a faithful member of the Church of Pacifica and blessed with clerical power and insight, but suffered a faith crisis at the same time as her discovery of her Orcish ancestry. She left the country in search of her mother and was inducted into her religion, serving Jarrett, a god she had long been told was evil and undeserving. She has since returned to Tharbenia and her position in the Church of Pacifica and the court of the God King, disguising her true allegiance and intentions behind a thin smile.

Order of the Righteous Trinity:
Character Name, Race, Class/Archetype, Role/Build
Snaggletooth, Keeper of the Memory, TN kobold Barbarian/Elemental unMonk/Immortal Dragon Blood
Melee, some Skills

Council Role and How it was Earned
Representative for the native kobold (and maybe orc?) populations in the land of Aldea, either served this role during the Aldean reign as well or their predecessor did and this is a traditional appointment. As the keeper of kobold myth, story and history, they were voted for this position by the kobolds of the lands.

Brief Background Information
Snaggletooth is incredibly ancient for a kobold (whether that means like 1000 or like 50), once silver but now a dull gray with individual scales of varying colors. They believe in the myth of the dragons and hope to become one at any cost. This pursuit has led to their spirituality, knowledge and great age.

Vault of Heaven:
Character Name, Race, Class/Archetype, Role/Build
Maurice Thurbach, NE fetchling Shadow Caller Spiritualist of Feyla (if spiritualists are also required to have deities).
Healer, Scout, Face (Stealth, Intimidate, Sense Motive, Bluff, Diplomacy will all be high)

Council Role and How it was Earned
"Spiritual Advisor" to King Addanc and to his father before him, but actually the Spymaster for the kingdom. He ruthlessly protects the Court and the King (but especially himself). During Addanc's coup, he recognized the young prince's ambitions and wisely chose to stand out of the way, immediately bending his loyalty to the new King, lending his claim some legitimacy, desperate to remain relevant and in the ear of power.

Brief Background Information
Devious and deceitful, the fetchling is largely disliked by most of the court of King Addanc, including the King himself. Originally a human, his alchemical experiments and time in the shadows have poisoned Maurice's blood, turning him into something else entirely. While he immediately abandoned the King's father during the coup, his loyalty to the Vault, however, is beyond question, and people who know his true role as Spymaster ruefully acknowledge the necessary part he plays in the protection of the kingdom.

Well, the GOOD news is we're half way to having enough players for all three countries...the BAD news is we're half way to having enough players for all three countries

Can each character only be drafted by the country it's intended for? Bc mine are a little flexible. I did intend and make them for specific countries they would fit best with tho.

Jimothy: Tharbenia bc he works best with Timothy who is LG.
Ichabod: Order of the Righteous Trinity because CG.
Mara: The Vault of Heaven because NE.

Thank you the sheet is fixed. As for applying to more than one, I would assume that the GM would let the 'king' pick as long as the 'character' fit within the 'race' restrictions the GM laid out.

But what do I know, I only applied with one character, take him or leave him...

Nice post! Very helpful

One submission for all three kingdoms:

Character Name, Race, Class/Archetype (and role/build plan if multiclass along the way), and alignment-
Relzak the Fearless Warrior, Orc or Half-orc Swashbuckler (Whirling Dervish archetype): I had a jones to play a swashbuckler (front-line striker) for this, but the medieval setting didn't seem to complement that. After reading through the homebrew material, I like what I read of the orcs, so I looked for a way to make a savage orc-type character using the swashbuckler class. The archetype helps the concept fit the race better, but it requires re-coloring the lore of the Golarion-specific archetype.

If selected for Order of the Righteous Trinity, he'll be a chaotic good Orc of Righteousness; if selected for one of the other two, he'll be a chaotic good half-orc from said orc tribe.

A one sentence description about what your character's role on the King's council is, and how you "earned" that position-
I'm envisioning him serving as a Dexterity or Charisma-based leadership position, such as Marshal or Royal Enforcer (although I could readily tweak him to be more serious to serve as General), gaining his position because he's a popular, charismatic people's hero, and the ruler found appointing him to that position to be a politically expedient move (the only way I can see him advancing in Tharbenia), whether they personally like Relzak or not.

Brief Background Information about the character-
While orcs are considered primitive or savage by most civilized races, Relzak is what I'll call "charismatically cunning," using his boasts and deeds to climb the social structures of the tribe of orcs he came from... until he reached too high and was driven out. Starting over in [insert YOUR kingdom here!], his status as an oddity and as a warrior who never backs down from a fight earned him a "local hero" status among the populace, who find him comical and daring in equal measure. He is bombastically supportive of the kingdom's leader (some fun ideas for this for Addanc the Ruthless), but whether that sentiment is genuine or a byproduct of his social cunning will depend on the leader he follows.

Submission One - The Celestial Kingdom of Tharbenia or, possibly, the Order of Righteous Trinity
Character Name, Race, Class/Archetype (and role/build plan if multiclass along the way), and alignment:
Alkariani - Lawful Good - Halfling Water Dancer Monk 1 - Water Kineticist 2 - Long-range fighter with some minor utility and healing abilities.
Role on council:
Alkariani is mainly concerned with the welfare of the citizens and their lot. As a result she is a good fit for the role of Councilor, as the people’s advocate to the throne.
Brief background info:
A former slave who escaped from a grumbling nation, Alkariani escaped and sought out a new home. Feeling guilty at leaving her fellows to there fate when she fled she now seeks to help the common people of her new home.

Submission Two - The Order of Righteous Trinity or, possibly, the Celestial Kingdom of Tharbenia
Character Name, Race, Class/Archetype (and role/build plan if multiclass along the way), and alignment:
Vaux the Many-Scaled - Neutral Good- Dragonblood Shifter - Short-range tank and close-combat monster with side order of social skills.
Role on council:
Vaux’s pride and speed with a touch of charisma makes him an excellent Marshal, and his ruthless nature makes him a solid choice for Royal Enforcer.
Brief background info:
Uncommonly among the kobold, while primarily bronze-scaled, Vaux has purple scales as well. During combat he also tends to create other scales depending on the foes he’s fighting and their abilities, earning him his moniker. This strange, rainbow-esque ability did not sit well with many more traditional kobolds, and it’s unclear what this means in regards to Vaux’s heritage. Unimpressed that his people were unimpressed Vaux chose to try his luck in the Vault, and found them much more suited to his temperament.

Submission Three - The Vault of Heaven
Character Name, Race, Class/Archetype (and role/build plan if multiclass along the way), and alignment:
Aarya - Human - Neutral Evil - Roughrider Fighter 2 - Menhir Savant Druid 1 - Mounted combatant with a side roll in healing and buffing magic.
Role on council:
Fast to travel from location to location as needed Aarya makes an ideal Warden.
Brief background info:
Aarya is a dedicant to nature itself. The might of the strong dominating the weak is nature. The powerful devouring the weak is nature itself. Seeing the strength of the Vault of Heaven, and it’s reliance of heavy cavalry, Aarya chose to join the kingdom and make herself exceptional. The goal is simple - if she’s strong enough and owed enough then she can claim the natural resources of the kingdom before someone else decides ‘industry’ is more important, and decide just how they are exploited.

Hello all my first time doing this with new people, be gentle lol

1) Emmeline Dawns, Female Human (Adoptive Parents Elf), Hunter w/ Wolf Pet, 2HF Elven Curve Blade, neutral, Spring Attack, Skirmisher/ hit and run fighter and scout.
Raised by Elves, moves like an elf...will use her bow but prefers up close fighting with Booger by her side, she raised him since he was a few weeks old and they have never been apart.

2) Diesa Bootstomper, Female Hill Dwarf, Cleric, Neutral Good, Healing w/ minimum melee (Guided Hand) will be new class for me.
Older Sister of Harsk, former Ninth Battalion cleric. Always right in the middle of the fight taking care of the injured.

3) Harsk Bootstomper, Male Hill Dwarf, fighter Greataxe/Throwing Axe, Neutral good, fearless fighter, possible 1 level Barbarian.
Younger brother of Diesa, also former Ninth Battalion member. Member of one of the flanking units of the Battalion.
Trained by his father a Training Sergeant, from birth.

Hi Fir'lyn! Glad you made it over here. This is Jason/caster4life's gnome sorcerer alias. What role on a kingdom's council would you see for each of those characters?

What are the options? Or what is needed?

I'm not exactly sure. GM, are we using all the normal kingdom building roles or a pared down list or is it just a descriptive category right now?

For Diesa, the normal kingdom building roles are:
Ruler
Consort
Councilor
General
Grand Diplomat
Heir
High Priest
Magister
Marshal
Royal Enforcer
Spymaster
Treasurer
Viceroy
Warden

You can click this link to read more about what they mean. The only one that is definitely covered already for each kingdom is Ruler.

Diesa would be a councilor due to her previous training as such while in the Ninth Battalion, as a liaison for the soldiers and leadership. She was recruited for this position by one of the King's military advisors.

I have never done anything this organized before, just some make it up as you go campaigns with 2 friends, I am still learning terminology as well.

Emmeline Dawns has been working as a spymaster of sorts, keeping an eye on her Elven home and borders, since she is human she has never been suspected by anyone who is not an Elf.

She can also be the Royal Enforcer Hunting down the Crowns enemies and wrongdoers.

Harsk is your typical military Instructor overseeing the discipline of new recruits while in the Ninth Battalion, he left the Battalion due to a lack of enforcement of the rules in his opinion.

Krieger Gottes is a Half-Elf Paladin of Iomedae with a frightfully high Diplomacy he can advance to King's interests in almost all courts around the world. This skill was recognized early on and he secured a position and employment in the King's court where he served well. In addition he is also skilled in combat and when diplomacy fails in some of the rougher parts of town or with brigands he will resort to his trusty longsword and his Red spiked full plate armor and shield.

Sorry- I should have been more clear on that-- in the re-crunch of kingdom building I'm doing for this game, title or positions are stripped of mechanical meaning--

Each council member gets to take one Kingdom action, and which actions you take that Kingdom turn determine what you roll.

So when I say "what council role" here I mean from a "flavor" aspect a title or "job" that sounds appropriate flavor wise to the character, so it could fit into the official KB roles, or be more fanciful.

After some thought, I decided to switch Ankhef into being an urban arcane bloodrager. Merely because I've done an occultist trappings of the warrior before. That, and because the anti-magic abilities come into effect immediately. And for PbP, one shouldn't have to wait several months for a character to do what you want them to do. Background and kingdom role stays exactly the same. Just mechanics change.

In "normal" Kingdom Builder (how its used in Kingmaker AP for instance) your "Kingdom role" has a mechanical benefit- the "Grand Diplomat" does a specific THING when doing the Kingdom turns.

I've stripped that out- so when I put to list what your "council role" was, I meant to put a title/job- you might still make a character who wants to be a "Grand Diplomat", but you might also make a "High Pope" or a "Grand Poobah" or any other cool sounding title you wanted.

So the recruitment request is for a FLAVOR only "council role"-- not linked to a specific mechanic.

OK got it....next question is... What I have posted so far, how am I doing? Am I missing anything other than finishing up my profiles? Crunch stuff I can handle ok for someone playing less than a year I think, my weakness is on the fluff side and the RP. Any pointers are welcome, I have a thick skin so don't be shy.

I am a former EQ player of 6 years, that is the extent of my gaming knowledge other than a few month stint with D&D in 1996 while deployed to Bosnia. Until this past year with 1e.

@Emmeline's Player: I wouldn't stress about it. Just get a good idea of how you want to play your character and I'm sure you can work backwards to figure out how he could've gotten to be the way he is. Also, working with the kings on backstory points will probably help if you want extra ideas for how to integrate your character into the kingdom they'll be part of.
I also recommend liberal use of text format tags, like [ b ]. You can take a peek in the "How to format your text" spoiler below the text edit box that you type into. Also, when you have the time: DH's guide to play by post gaming might be a good read :D
Also, welcome to PF 1e and the boards :D

OOoh, in that case, Frank would make a great spymaster with help from his unknown accomplice xD

While neither of the sneaky roles use CHA (which will be his main stat...), Broulnindre will be a master spy (indeed she will already have a climb speed, loads of languages, and an unreasonably high perception skill at level 3)

Thanks for the info, as far as text editing I am on an android 4.2 tablet w/ touchscreen keyboard I can't even use the search feature on the website here, the search button is underneath the account info text...I just keep opening up my profile page and no way around it. I am lucky to be able to write this lol

@Emmeline0- yes, your submissions looked good! Don't worry too much about the specifics of the crunch- there will be time between when we "choose teams" and game start.

Also- if anyone is wondering, and those who've played with me know this, but I am very liberal on allowing rebuilds-- the last thing I want is you to make a "mistake" on a feat or some other choice and you're half-crippled for multiple levels because of an error.

Welcome to Emmeline and anyone else whose generally new to these particular forums or to play by post- don't worry on that account either, we were all new to it at some point and everyone here can help with the technical side and the conventions of posting, so don't feel shy to ask any questions to have.

@ScegfOd-- yes, Slides-- the mods I've done to the Kingdom Building system are on these slides-- you'll notice that it's just each character can take one action- there are actions you'll be better/worse at depending on your stats, but your "title" doesn't affect which you can take (except a few restricted to only the King).

Diesa crunch finished

Sovereign Court

2 people marked this as a favorite.

I've been following this idea for a bit, and I'd like to toss my hat in the ring. It's a neat idea to have potential interaction from different tables, particularly in a kingdom-building sense. Even if not selected, I look forward to seeing how this develops:

For Tharbenia:

Yaro Seedsower:
Yaro Seedsower, Shaman of the Heavens (CG Forest Elf). Yaro would have a blend of utility casting and healing as he progresses. Hexes provide offensive capabilities, and this combined with some of the heavens powers lend to blasting capability in a pinch!

Patient and persistant, Yaro would serve as an internal advisor or one-on-one councilor. He tends to eschew giant crowds, but he holds his own in a conversation, tending to understand the individual he's speaking to and work from that angle.

Yaro - and others in his tribe who bore witness - believe the spirit of his grandmother has been returned in fox-form to annoint Yaro their next leader. However, given their people's vanishing habitat, he was sent on a quest to obtain stable - and somewhat self-autonomous - land for them. The goddess Erin is believed to be aiding Yaro & folk in this regard given the personal heartbreak he faced prior to reunion - such as it was - with his grandmother.

For Order of the Righteous Trinity:

Wevik Klort:
Wevik Clort, Storm Druid/Season Sage (CN Hill Dwarf). Wevik is caster-focused, blanketing the environment with imposing effects. The elements are his specialty, not wild shape nor animal companions.

Bellicose and easily-addled, the dwarf would seek position in a military capacity, either as a strategist or battlemage. He has little patience for parley and believes might makes the best negotiation technique.

Cast-out of his native Gold Peak for extremist views, stubborn Wevik had insisted his interpretation of Spiryth's will was most accurate:
Wind and rain would erode all mankind's work unless the elements were harnessed, worked with and not against. Dwarves, unlike the islanders, ignored the zealous blabbering until one day a sinkhole caused catastrophic damage in one of the cities. The druid insisted the people brought that upon themselves, and they banished him. Fleeing to the island kindgoms, he bitterly seeks revenge, vindication, and - though he won't admit it - acceptance in a population.

For the Vault of Heaven:

Avero Elceren:
Alvero Elceren, Transmuter Wizard (LN River Elf). Avero is a utility caster with, due high towering intellect, a wide array of knowledge and skills. He may learn basic damage magic, but fireball, lightning bolt, and the like will not be in his array. Illusion and Enchantment would be his opposed schools.

Concerned greatly with his status in society, wealth, and mastery of his medium, Alvero would be a good fit for a treasurer/coinmaster role in a kingdom. He has an excellent head for numbers and a pernicious knack for exploiting peoples' work and desires for profit.

Alvero's family is well-regarding, owning a number of fine clotheries throughout the lands. As the scion of their line, he was schooled in magic as is the expectation of his kind, excelling at his studies. His family's frequent business deals with nobility made it simple for him to be on the short list for open positions. What wasn't so simple was keeping his desire to experiment with ever-more unmanageable forms of magic contained though. The mage does his utmost to keep his word, though he often goes about it in unorthodox ways.

Thank you so much for tracking this for us Robert- that will make it very easy when its time to pick!

This is Oxnard, by the way-- I will be using this profile to GM these games (can only squeeze a handful of links into the tagline, so I am branching out GM profiles to keep links handy).

The Storm Crow as a character is a mysterious Tengu wanderer who makes the Fair Lands his home, roaming from Kingdom to Kingdom. In my setting in general, Tengu serve as story tellers, which is why I have used them for my GM profiles (Oxnard is also an NPC Tengu from Kesperex).

I'll see if I can come up with something. Reading through things now. Trying to come up with one concept that can be tweaked for each kingdom in order to minimize work on my part since deadline in 2 days or so.

Ok imma try it out see how it goes here are my submissions for the game.

Character Name, Race, Class/Archetype (and role/build plan if multiclass along the way), and alignment- about 1 sentence covering this and explaining how your character "works" in the party (i.e. healing, sword and board fighter, archer, ect).
Lani Spellsong, Half-Elf, Wizard, Cleric, Mystic Theurgy, Chaotic Neutral. Lani is very interesting in learning all the forms of magic she is a scholarly type, she provides deviating offensive spells for the enemies and healing for allies.

A one sentence description about what your character's role on the King's council is, and how you "earned" that position- i.e. "Fizzleface the Bold was selected for the Role of High Executioner after winning a tournament" or "Weaselnose the Fifth bought his appointment as Lord Chancery of the Treasury, just as his father and grandfather had before him."-- you're pitching this to the King's so making them specific to the Kingdoms will likely help them stand out!

Although young for her age Lani's ability to master magic of both Arcane and Divine earned her quick passage thru her schooling and a position as Cunselor and Court Mage/Phacitian(I don't know what magic orders exist in these kingdoms yet)

Brief Background Information about the character- give us something interesting or unique about your character as a person in 3 sentences of less- be interesting, but hit the highlights here and stay brief.

(Not familiar with gods yet is there one similar to Nethys? Like a God of Magic, Knowledge or Lore?) Daughter of a High Priestess and Archimage of the Church of (TBD) Lani grew up in a crossed world. Thought to be a scion of the Church when she displayed talent for both Magic Lores, Lani was given to the church to train and one day become it's voice on this earth. Her thirst for knowledge on magic Lore quickly took in all that was taught to her but left her wanting more. Now she looks and listens for any other opportunities to learn more forms of magic she can master

Character Name, Race, Class/Archetype (and role/build plan if multiclass along the way), and alignment- about 1 sentence covering this and explaining how your character "works" in the party (i.e. healing, sword and board fighter, archer, ect).

Griselda the Silver Witch, Aasimar, White Haired Witch
Griselda is a very powerful healer and buffer and should it be necessary will assist melee combatants with combat maneuvers using her hair at a distance

Griselda usually a nomadic souls use to travel the land but after helping with injured in a giant tragedy(earthquake, or bandits or something lol) she was asked to remain as the court medic.

Brief Background Information about the character- give us something interesting or unique about your character as a person in 3 sentences of less- be interesting, but hit the highlights here and stay brief.

Originally from the Northland's(or wherever is cold XD) Griselda had lived a peaceful life with her sister Graciela. But when her sister was kidnapped she set out to find the culprits, never succeeding. She traveled the land listening to rumors or whispers of her sister. Even to this day she still frequents taverns of far travelers under guise in hopes of hearing information of her long lost sister.

All 3 of mine are open to any kingdom.

Are there different deities involved or using standard PF1E?

Thanks

Deities Custom List

It's world specific custom deities here- but if you notice a subdomain or domain that's missing let me know, I know there are ones added since I did these lists.

(I'm working on expanding the other deities into full write ups like there are for Attrianna and Jarrett in there, but slowly)

Ok update now that I read a little of the Lore of the world Lani Spellsong would be a worshiper of Ge'Shanai and she would be Lawful Neutral instead of Chaotic Neutral

Last thing sorry for the spam any info you can give me on the tower elves and their university it would really fit with my background story

Question: Do we need to present applications for all three kingdoms? I'm not really interested in Evil stuff.

As for the other two kingdoms, if I'm allowed, I'll apply with an infiltrator/assassin magus (that's if I can put it together in 1 and a half days...)

Another Question: can the character come from anywhere else? I was envisioning an outlander (which would help my idea of applying with the same character for both kingdoms).

Late for the party.

Character Name, Race, Class/Archetype (and role/build plan if multiclass along the way), and alignment-

Flexible Alignment, not locked in on Name yet -
Race: Forest Elf
Class: Chained Monk(Zen Archer) 4/Sorcerer(Empyreal Bloodline) 6 going late into Arcane Archer(with Favored PRC)
Role: Archer/Buffer/Utility

With the delayed Spell Progression, the Focus will be on Buffs and utility, while operating normally as an Archer. Mostly SAD on Wisdom, but quite flexible when it comes to Skills. One trait will be Wisdom in the Flesh to Cover for something needed.
Since I'm late I didn't have time to go in-depth yet on the build, but that just means added flexibility.

I'll only get one submission in so I'd rather turn it 'more specific' for one of the Kingdoms in post-processing(as in, when fleshing out the character more).
Basic Pitch would be that with the "Elven Habitats" slowly vanishing(as per Forest Elves fluff) the way to counter that would be to have your voice heared - essentially trying to establish Environmental Protection Laws etc. But at the same time, that needs to be pitched in a way that makes the officials want to listen, so character, as a specialist on deep wilderness and survival, helps to plan exploitation of resources with minimum impact on surrounding area - basically minimizing cost and effort to further their own agenda - a win/win for both sides.

Brief Background Information about the character- give us something interesting or unique about your character as a person in 3 sentences of less- be interesting, but hit the highlights here and stay brief.

Well, that would be a lot more interesting if I would pitch to a specific kingdom and could draw on that lore, hu? Okay, here goes:
1.: Character starts out pure martial - with a slight dislike for Magics - little do they know they have it in their blood.
2.: Does not hold Alcohol(or other recreational substances) well (not to the point of needing babysitting to not cause trouble - simply having heavily clouded judgement if inebriated - a contrast to the otherwise high Wisdom)
3.: Vegan - not the preachy kind, and will happily hunt and prepare/provide Meat to those who eat it - it's natural, after all. Just personally prefers to subside on a vegan diet - usually Survival should be high enough to cover that, but could cause problems if rations run out in a hostile environment(Desert, Arctic, etc...).

10. Addanc the Ruthless/Vault/Captain Generica

Sorry missed this until now-

Tower Elves:

The Tower Elves "main" or original Tower/University is in the Fertile North Region (big continent to the East/South from the Fair Lands) in the metropolis of Riverport. (hence River Elves)

The University, by lore, was founded in the Second Age before Elves were divided into subspecies at the very time when Riverport itself (now either the largest or second largest city in all Kesperex) was founded.

Over the years, the Elves transformed into their current form, and the University collected knowledge and training. Eventually, aspiring Mages who could not advance in the ranks to their liking in the University itself went forth into the world, and founded their own Universities elsewhere, or in some cases, Kingdoms.

Several times this has happened in the Fair Lands- either a Tower is built, or Mage Warlord has taken a Kingdom, which is why many of the current 13 Kingdoms have populations of Tower Elves in them.

The modern day Tower itself trains all learned Arcane casters- Arcanists, Magi, Wizards, as well as lesser known and specialized schools (the rogue/fighter arcane caster archetypes, for instance).

Hope that helps!

@Robert Henry- thank you again for doing that list! It's very helpful, and it actually fits under that post perfectly!

Ghostwind, N Male Human Hexcrafter Magus:

A perfect merge of sword and sorcery, Ghostwind specializes in stealthy tactics and surprise strikes to take down opposition.

One sentence description:

This mysterious figure doesn't hold an official position at the government, but he's the de facto executing arm of the King/Dean.

Brief Background:

Ghostwind was raised as a slave and employed by the slavers as an assassin. He came to the kingdom looking for knowledge to break his curse but soon his fame as a hitman made him powerful friends... and foes.

Special: Ghostwind's curse:

Cast upon him and the other slavers during an assault at a custody caravan. Every time Ghostwind actively tries a skull check and fails, he gets a -2 penalty on active skills and attacks until the end of the round unless for retrying the failed skill check.

This is my application for all Kingdoms. The Curse mechanics are subject to approval, change or ban. As they are, they're directly taken from the Mark as Slavery drawback (and I think the GM said we weren't allowed to pick drawbacks, so that would be just a free flaw because it's so fitting unless otherwise ruled).

Edit: I decided to apply to all Kingdoms, even the evil one, si as to not unbalance the number of candidates.

Nice! We have 14/12 players ready to be drafted. So the kings will actually get to be very slightly picky.

Yes that is perfect I would still like to be a half elf but I would like the father to be a tower elf for my background if I get into the game XD thank you for the response
