Yay!
So Angela bought a few things before this scenario, a headband of vast intellect and a claok of resistance +2. They've been added to her character sheet and the gold deducted but I like to have a post that points to her purchases.

Hi guys,
you find the campaign link HERE.
You can fill in your details on slides 2 to 4.
Angela, you can include your purchases in the last column in the table on slide 4.
Thanks

Katsu Shintaro wrote:”Thank you for expertly repeating what I said. I hope that the singular trait I possess of being blind does not overly hinder your greatness.”"It poses no hinderance at all, sir. None at all." Golthwur replies in earnest, oblivious to having brought on offense.
I just realized that not all of you have had this PC at the table before, so allow me to give the general caveats. As you may have gathered, Golthwur is arrogant, petty, offensive, bigoted, and a slew of other negative treats. He is a loathsome human being and you should feel free to treat him as such. My intent is to play Golthwur as a character worthy of ridicule and jest and not to offend. He is much like the Archie Bunker of wizards. If, at any time, you feel that the character or his antics may be acting as a source of unwanted discomfort or offense, please let me know either on the boards or via PM and I will tone the character down or alter his personality all together.
Dawn Verda wrote:"Thank you. I'll let most of you do the talking. Unless anyone up there knows Sylvan.""Of course, I know Sylvan!" The bearded blowhard responds with clear indignation. "I am Golthwur Strath, Lord of Linguistics and Emperor of Eloquence!"
No problem, I have a few characters that are a-holes myself.

Lol! The way you play Golthwur Strath, I would assume he had a wisdom of seven! ‘S great.
Also, great use of the old a-hole debate standby: If you can’t argue the point, pick apart some minor tangential tidbit and claim you won!

Apologies. I totally missed this discussion thread. I think I completed all the slides info.
Day Job (Heal): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

Sir Hayden, you still have the life link to Angela / Dawn and would take another 10 damage this round and heal them. Please indicate if you want that. You have not swift action healed yourself so far.
My answer might be in how Inspired Rage will work. Hayden clearly wasn't expecting the spell attack, so I won't have him retcon an Lay on Hands. And with Angela taking enough damage to potentially go down, it's a tough option.
If Hayden accepts the Rage, is his ability to start/end/sustain Life Link changed in any way? I could see it inhibiting him starting a new Life Link. I could also see a harsher interpretation as it totally interfering since Rage is kind of opposite to giving life away.

GM Nowruz |

In my point of view nothing with inspired rage inhibits sustaining or ending life link which is more important in our case here.
Decide as you see fit.
If you were not in melee then this might just be a mistake so move yourself back and I will change the tracker later.
:-)
So you continue the life link as well.

It's very short notice, but I'm going to be busy for the rest of today and all of tomorrow (Sunday) so I'm not likely to be back until Monday (so about 48 hours.) I'll post something now, but if things hinge on Angela doing something again during that time or if a check is needed from her, feel free to bot her, she has a robust and easy to use character sheet (or so I've been told) on her profile page. Apologies for the short notice and I hope that this isn't too disruptive.

Perform: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Dawn continues to tell jokes, and laughter from her foreign comedy routine spreads like a flash of lightning.

I uh, haven't rolled for her day job! Arghslkasdkkajah!
Day Job, Profession Secretary: 1d20 + 9 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 9 + (6) = 17
Yes she could use Craft instead which is higher, but she doesn't as a principle.

Are you kidding? Golthwur can't maintain a Day Job.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Tbh, I'm surprised Golthwur has maintained living.

And a Mountain of Maintenance! Thanks for putting up with him.
