Not-Trixie floats down after Selter. "You're right - let me take a look..." After scanning the chest for magical auras and searching for mundane hazards, the wizard carefully opens the container from what she hopes is a safe distance.

Still cautious, Not-Trixie carefully moves the coins and gems to a side pocket of her handy haversack without touching them directly. "Sorry this takes so much longer - I"m just really nervous about something trying to take us by surprise," she whispers to her companion.

As Narayan lands on the opposite side of the pit, he notices morlocks swarming out of the passage to the left of the pit. He quickly learns the point of the pit as the push and claw at him, a lucky shove managing to send him tumbling into the pit!
Unfortunately for the darkness dwellers, his leaping flying kick from the bottom of the pit returns the scaly monk to the fray, dispatching the horde of morlocks in a blink of an eye!
Handwaving the morlock fights because they're CR4 and Narayan and Bo cannot miss them or do less damage than their total HP.

Insert cinematic battle of arrows and fists felling waves of morlocks here.
The broken ruins spread out here into a larger space. The floor is clear of rubble, as if deliberately swept clean. In the center of the chamber stands a silver bubble that rises up to touch the ceiling of broken stone 30 feet above. It appears to be formed from liquid silver, with ripples and eddies continually flowing across its surface. All manner of animal and humanoid bones—each picked clean—are stacked around the base of the dome.
