GM Cwethan |

Hey there - this is where we'll begin mustering. I don't have any really atypical GMing rules or the like (though you can always pop over to my GM alias to read through them if you like).
Please provide:
Your name (as you want it on the chronicle)
Your character's name
Your PFS #
Your Faction
Your Day Job
And go ahead and tell me (and your new partymembers) a little bit about what your character does (this is a good place to point out any build-weirdness, typical uses of immediate actions, if you're slow progression etc.)
Let's have some fun!

Favian is a fairly standard kensai magus. His AC drops precipitously when flat-footed, but he has a couple of ways around that besides his high init bonus:
- He has bling-fight to avoid some penalties for being attacked invisibly.
- He can take AoOs while flat-footed and can draw a weapon while taking an AoO. He has flamboyant arcana which lets him use the opportune parry and riposte deed, and he can take up to 5 AoOs per round.
Favian has a protector familiar who can use Bodyguard to attempt to increase Favian's AC for three attacks per round (assume he uses it on the first 3 attacks against Favian each round). His familiar also has In Harm's Way and can intercept fully one of these three attacks if I choose. They can also choose to split damage received by one to the other.
Favian gets a +9 bonus to confirm critical hits.
He gets a free intimidate check against anyone he deals nonlethal damage to due to his Enforcer feat. He could choose to do with his weapon due to the Stage Combatant feat.

Lifesaver is a friendly healer. Being a Merciful Healer, she will heal everyone if she has too (enemies included). Being a Combat Medic she expects all of her team to know basic battlefield positioning and to position themselves appropriately to be healed effectively (she can only exclude up to three when channeling). She can't heal through "stupid" so if a team member runs off and gets hurt, don't expect her to come running after you.
She expects to be last in the initiative order usually to heal everyone at the end of a round. If she happens to roll well on initiative she will generally delay until after the bad guys or the end of round.
She always carries around her light mace which is decorated in the style of her deity's favorite weapon. It is also one of her divine focuses. She hardly ever hits anything with it or uses it for much other than a focus. In her younger days she would rush into battle to help her team with a flank, but as the enemies started getting more deadly, she generally sticks to the back of the party where it is safer.

Player Name: Pirate Rob
Character's name: Hassam al-Rashid
PFS #: 757-15
Faction: Scarab Sages
Speed: Normal
Hassam is a Rahadoumi archieologist. More recently he had become the Jasper Sage. While technically a bard he's a beast with his longspear while providing massive attack/damage buffs as well.

GM Cwethan |

Yeah, Hassam's ability with a spear is still pretty fresh in the memory of my poor monsters :-p

Your name: Qstor
Your character's name: Davina
Your PFS #: 2072-14
Your Faction: Silver Crusade
Your Day Job: Heal (temple vanity): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
XP Speed: Normal
Davina is an assimar life oracle devoted to fighting evil outsiders and undead. She will also help heal the party. However she lacks Selective Channel.
She too has a mace but doesn't use it unless pressed into one on one combat. She'll aslo try to help by summoning monsters to help in combat. She speaks Ignan and Celestial in combat.

Your name: Greenclaw
Your character's name: Seldanna Marzanna
Your PFS #: 74677-2
Your Faction: The Concordance
Your Day Job: Craft (Alchemy): 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (2) + 19 = 21
Seldanna specialises in buff/debuff spells, has high knowledge skills across the board and can chip in with some summoning if needed.
Oh, and she levelled up after her last game. I'll get her stats updated before we kick off.

Your name: Suede
Your character's name: Seren's Seven
Your PFS #:104845-10
Your Faction:Scarab Sages
Your Day Job: Perform Dance: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (9) + 16 = 25
Seren is a jack of all trades to the extreme character with a few quirks.
First, Seren is a bit of a quirky and very reluctant servant of Ashava. Because of this does tend to go out of her way to help and manage lost spirits and ghosts. She's impulsive if left to her own devices but tends to take cues from anyone she thinks knows what's up. She also is the Amber Sage of the Scarab Sages for better or worse because of her ability to work with spirits. But she really doesn't fully understand the importance of the position.
Second, mechanically she's a Spirit Dancer archtype Medium. Instead of performing a Seance at the start of the day, she can start dancing at any moment and pick a spirit to channel through her to gain its benefits. This functions like Unchained barbarian rage with rounds and a one minute cool down when she stops. It also functions a bit like a bard, as she creates a 30 foot aura around her that gives all allies a bonus as if they took part in a seance for the spirit while she dances.
Because of that mechanic she can basically switch roles as a group needs between moments/combats/etc! But she's best as a melee DPS, especially as this group seems caster heavy.
And Third, I have the Haunt channeler ability that always lets me act in the surprise round against haunts (and damage them while asking a question), if that comes up.

Sorry guys, long day in the middle of a long week. I'll keep us going tomorrow/later today.

![]() |

I am driving for the next two days heading to AdeptiCon. I'll be at the Con in classes painting minis all day for five days, then another two days of driving back. Just so you know, my postings will be a little interrupted but I will try to catch up at least once a day (probably at night).

![]() |

Cwethan. One of my spirits allows me to gain 2 skills per day as if fully trained in them as class skills. But unlike another medium I have to burn rounds of dance to use my spirits. Is there a number of rounds I could use per check in order to gain that benefit?

GM Cwethan |

I'd say it would have to be ten rounds, so you'd be able to pull it off, but (I assume) only once.

![]() |

Well everyone is crushing those rolls there, so I don't need to do much yet!
But I can regain rounds by accepting influence. So I have another 28 rounds left, really. 32 if I have 10 minutes to purge an influence!

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

You've got knowledge planes for the metaphysical stuff, also just your memory as a player for important points, there's been a lot of info this adventure and I sure as hell don't remember all of it. Another voice is always welcome as well.

GM Cwethan |

Hassam's got the right of it. There might even be a point where you could argue in a Heal check with some appropriate RP :-)

GM Cwethan |

Okay guys - we're almost at the end, just a little bit further!
In the meantime though, go ahead and roll a d20 for a boon - 19 or 20 will win!
Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 10

![]() |

Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 2

![]() |

I'm not sure Favian feels the need to contribute further. His goal is to get Hao Jin to help fix the tapestry. He doesn't care if she is otherwise punished, so I see no reason why he would continue to bargain, his goals having been met.

GM Cwethan |

Rolling for remaining players so I can get this reported
Rogar Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 11
Seren Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 3
:-/

GM Cwethan |

Okay, chronicles are up here!
Please do let me know if you have any questions or concerns, otherwise I'll close down the campaign in a couple days.

![]() |

Sorry, I failed at filling out initial day job bit.
oratory: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (3) + 18 = 21
campaign coin reroll: 1d20 + 18 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 18 + 5 = 43
150gp.

![]() |

Thank you for running, Cwethan! Everything looks good on the chronicle!
I enjoyed the game!

GM Cwethan |

I was surprised there was a bard without a day job, but I figured you might be working a boon or something. Edited version is up at the same link.
