I would say Tolar is in the running for MVP.
He went toe to toe with the creature, keeping it busy for much of the time so we could deactivate the machines. His critical is also what allowed us to know when the regeneration was finally down. Without knowing that, we couldn’t have been sure when to pour the damage on.
In the end it was very much a team effort. There were contributions by everyone and we needed all of it.

Id and Tolar were MVPs, but we needed everyone to bring him down. Don't forget that those towers were powering 70 temporary hit points a round, spell resistance, energy resistance and gods know what else. Once we had them all down, he became defeatable. As a result everyone of us can help take credit for this victory.
Epic GMing Shifty.

We all did what we do best. Tolar was an excellent punching bag kept up partly by Charli, Skill monkeys skilled, Healers healed. Id exploded brains, A team effort indeed.

![]() |

Yeah, I'm pretty proud of Charli's performance here, including taking a few hits from Tolar. That was her intent, she just didn't mean for it to work quite that well!

![]() |

I think you meant taking a few hits for Tolar, not from him. :)

Finally got a chance to catch up on the reading. Great job everyone.

Best teamwork ever! Everyone of us contributed!

Shifty are you going to be rolling boon rolls for all of us, or having us roll for ourselves?

People can go ahead and roll their own (may the odds be ever in your favour) - I'll roll for anyone who hasn't once the final post comes down and reporting goes in.

Boon roll: 1d20 ⇒ 8
Not this time.

Id got lucky damage with his big guns, which only mattered because everyone took down the machines together, including Tolar pulling the aggro early and Charli keeping everyone alive. This boss was a holistic team effort, which was how I hoped it would play out. I'm glad I finally got to play at high level and see it for myself. Great job everyone!
Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 7
Happy to wait out the rest of the scenario, Id's high level casting is all but spent.

Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 2
(Maybe I am no longer a gnome?)

![]() |

That's hitting below the belt. On the other hand, the only way you can hit me is... below your belt!

It's a pretty wild encounter to be honest, loads of fun but you almost need a spreadsheet to track all the moving parts... high-level characters bring a lot of complexity and throw in all the higher scenario effects (fleet bonuses etc) plus the funky god-phone mechanics and it really becomes cool and unique (as well as a tracking challenge).
I really look forward to 3-00.

Imagine if this was high tier PFS 1. Some parties need spreadsheets just to track the party buffs.

Great teamwork by all. Loved playing this at a high tier where everyone knew how to use all their PC's advanced abilities.

Not even High Tier.
We did Bonekeep 1-3 as a set group of players.
Ahead of the game we developed an infopack of SOPs, brought a bunch of handouts covering available Alchemicals and the baseline expectation of their use, and I kept the battletracking of the buffstates and modifiers in effect on a whiteboard.
It all paid off though.

Do we get to make day job rolls?

Looks good, thanks!

Oops, just remembered that I’m Dataphiles,
Could you please modify mine to give me Digital Presence, Tier 3?
Digital Presence (Slotless Boon)
You work to propagate a thriving digital community.
Prerequisites: Dataphiles Tier 1
Cost: 0 Fame (see below)
Benefit: If you complete a scenario that you played online, such as by using a virtual tabletop or a play-by-post format, you earn 1 additional Fame and 1 additional Reputation with the Dataphiles faction (regardless of whether you have the Dataphiles Champion Faction boon slotted for that scenario).
Special: You can benefit from this boon only a number of times equal to your current Reputation Tier with the Dataphiles faction (maximum four total times at Reputation Tier 4). Each time you fulfill the requirements of this boon, mark it on your Chronicle sheet along with the associated Reputation Tier.
Have the GM sign beside this notation.
Would you mind terribly modifying my chronicle for this?

@Shifty - I slotted Exo-Guardians champion for this adventure. Would it be possible for you to note that on my chronicle sheet. Thanks!

No luck!

Thanks for the game, enjoyed the rare exposure to high level play with a bunch of people who all know how the game works, I picked up a fair few interesting points as I went along and it was good times all round.
Each morning when I went to update the posts it took as long to sort out this game as it did my three other tables of Illegal Shipment combined!
I'll have to work out what to do with my spare time now :)
On the upside, work has been a lot more calm and 'business as usual' as we move out of the national lockdown and into phase 1 recovery and I'm expected to end my deployment by mid June. I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend away up in the mountains at the end of June for the winter solstice, some snow, and a few apple ciders by a fire.

A well-earned break! Thanks for running, Shifty! Chronicle looks good.

Adjusted sheet looks great!
Glad to hear you can move out of the national lockdown. Sounds like things are getting under control there.
Wish you the best!
