Great! Glad we have two people with Trap Finder. You might want to note it in your headers as a reminder.
My understanding is that it doesn’t matter what you are doing, you get the secret check when you come within 10’ of a trap.

GM Kate - please use Defend for Torvald's exploration activity.
Torvald and Gorholt, if you need help just point me to the avatar you want and I will get it to slide 3. Once there, it should be relatively easy for you to cut and paste it to slide 1. If you want it out directly on slide 1, just tell me about where you want it.
Thanks, Salliss! I'm using the bizarre-looking knight's face that I copied from a 12thc manuscript. I think I've got the image on slide 3 and correctly placed behind Viola on slide 1. Feel free to move me around to match the results of our tactical discussion.
I can trigger Liberating Step as long as I'm within 15' of an affected ally, so there's room for maneuver.

I have added avatars to slide 3 for myself and Viola. Pip was already there!

Thanks for the advice - I went ahead and added it in. Also, GM Kate Did we start with 1 hero point or no? If you said so, I missed it.

GM Kate, is there a max number of Hero Points that one can have at a time? Viola gifted me one (thanks again!) that I have not used. Do I therefore have 2 available?

GM Kate |

You sure do! I think there might be a max of 3, but I’d have to look it up to be sure.

I spend one recklessly to rescue a kitten out of a tree.

I’m going to be out most of the day today. Once things move forward enough to do so, if it would help Sallis is Trained in Medicine. If the mold acts as a poison or disease he could attempt to treat it.
He would need his MedKit from Torvald.
Assuming no one else has a better way to clear the mold, we can stand back and Salliss could use Acid Splash over and over again until the deck is clear. In that case, the rest of you probably want to search out more of the stuff so he knows what to target.
He memorizes the Acid Splash because of Swarms. Guess it will turn out useful at other times as well. :)

Hey, I tried to treat it with fungal lore! But your acid splash was super effective!
Hmm

I'm sorry for my silence, I realized this morning that the posts I had written Sunday night and yesterday didn't actually post. :-(

GM Kate,
I’m a little confused about exactly where people and monsters are. It sounds like the serpents came out of hiding when Gorholt pulled the axe out of the dead serpent’s head. They are in the water.
Gorholt was in the water.
I believe I was out of the water. Certainly hope so since otherwise I’m out of air from speaking.
Could you provide a quick explanation of where you believe everyone is and show where on the map we transition from lower to upper deck?

![]() |

I was going to ask something similar - I thought that they were possibly closer/below deck from how we ended up interacting with them, but are they where the #1 & #2 appear on the map? It will help me determine what I am doing.

Oh, sorry, I skipped a sentence! You all came up from below deck and head to the other ship. While crossing, you spot the small sea serpents in the water.
The current map is correct. I took your marching order and flipped it around to go the other way.

That's what I'm afraid of, Gorholt!
GM Kate -- if I'm confused, can I still cast Bit of Luck on myself or use my reaction (Liberating Step)? Those both require a decision on my character's part.

GM Kate |

Hey all! We have a little wrap-up to do, but we're basically done!
Please give me your Organized Play number, your character number, your character level, your character's faction, and what you'd like to do with your two days of downtime! One option is to Earn Income, which would mean rolling a Craft, Lore, or Performance check.

Organized Play ID is 2383065.
Torvald's character number is 2383065-2001.

Downtime activity will be Craft, at which I am +3.
