I find the worst thing I can do is tell people when exactly I'm going to post. It's like a curse.
Just want to give a few reminders since it has been a while since we started.
Don't let this change your RP as it is great but your reactions to Sef's story seemed a little over the top.
One of tbe rewards you were told about for the return of Kohnnir and the Restoration of the torch is a Scroll of Resurrection.
So while at the moment you have no idea if Kohnnir is dead or alive the town has a contingency as they love Kohnnir that much.

Sure, there's hope, but how would you feel if your parent or good friend was declared dead? Perhaps something less permanent, but quite painful, like a terrible injury that requires a risky and expensive surgery?
We're a last-ditch effort to restore Torch, while teams of more qualified people failed and died. I think there's plenty of room for sadness, grief, and frustration. I don't expect every character to take it either stoically or with indifference, especially for our more whimsical characters.
I mean this is in the best possible way: lol!
Meila and Sron going for the Oscar with their heartfelt reactions and the whole time we don't even need remains to bring him back! I completely forgot as well.
We can still keep the same dynamic though: Meila being Sron's 'heart' if you will. (like Data and Lal on TNG with the 'I'll feel it for both of us tear-jerker').

For sure as I said definitely roleplay but wanted to make sure you were aware all is not necessarily lost.
