Lightning lizards
everyone else
Qua you're paralyzed for 2 rounds
A paralyzed character is frozen in place and unable to move or act. A paralyzed character has effective Dexterity and Strength scores of 0 and is helpless, but can take purely mental actions. A winged creature flying in the air at the time that it becomes paralyzed cannot flap its wings and falls. A paralyzed swimmer can’t swim and may drown. A creature can move through a space occupied by a paralyzed creature—ally or not. Each square occupied by a paralyzed creature, however, counts as 2 squares to move through.
everyone else however has a surprise round first! for that stealthing earlier. there are 6 lightning lizards, only the adults are attacking. knowledge nature to know more.

20 feet downhill to qua, 30ft to the lizards
the 4 adults are behind this medium sized crystal so one has partial cover, the other two are left right directly to the covered one and the fourth further right about 10 feet.
with the female and kids being another 40 ft behind them under an overhang centered around the other side of the hill in this hovel ditch thing.
Doctor Harkness |
Harkness throws out a small many-pointed jar of his trusty Shard gel that he's famous for.
Attack!: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10 Touch attack vs flat foot
Attack the closest one!: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Each adjacent square to the target lizard is affected as if caltrops were there
Sharra 'es |
Trying to engage the lizards but not get surrounded, Sharra charges the lizard on the closest edge.
partial charge to catch them flat-footed
attack: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 8 + 2 = 27
damage: 1d4 - 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) - 1 + (1) = 3
GM_IamZero000 |
Sharra and Harkness both connect, these lizards can take punch but dont seem fans of this Shard gel as the normally speedy lizards are slowed down quite a bit, being unable to get to Qua or really anyone besides the one engaging Sharra.
this success surprise attack, was really beneficial.
WE'LL NOW ENTER ROUNDS OFFICIALLY :Harkness up first
Doctor Harkness |
Crossbow from place: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 2d6 ⇒ (4) + (2, 3) = 9
Harkness moves to a clear line of fire for his crossbow, and shoots, but sneakily. And attackily.
