The group opens the scroll tube and out pops a map and detailed picture of something called an Ironbloom Mushroom. The typically grow in hot areas, especially common in dwarven settlements near blacksmiths and forges.

As you all travel off the beaten trails marked by the giant glowing blue fungus of the Underlands, following the map toward what should be the old goblin caves.

Absolutely. Unfortunately for this current check. Wolves aren't exactly a common underground animal and that's about all you know specifically. Of course everyone knows that

the Hungry wolf charges toward the least threatening looking of the lot Doctor Harkness, The Bullet grazes him, while the Crossbow bolt seems to bound off his tough hide.

Before Sharraa'es can even react the wolf creature is upon them! She cries out as the good doctor almost loses his leg, "Harkness! Get out of there!"

She maneuvers around to get at the wolf where it doesn't expect and lashes out with a clawed fist attempting to disable the creature.

If flanking, add 1 damage and 2 to hit. Using stunning Fist, dc 14 fort save or be stunned.

The group continues on their journey down the trail leading to the old goblin caves. The next few hours of travel are hard as the group walks over rock terrain, that gets steadily more and more difficult to travel as you end up going down hill.

The large glowing mushrooms lighting your way grow sparse, leaving you all with only the black and white of your darkvision. You hear barking and howling in the far distance, a Vicious screech from a black shadow flying in the distance over head that disappears

Wyxarl will find a clearing by a lake that seems as good as any other, after a brief scouting around of course. Light from the glowing mushrooms in the area makes this camp well lit, no shadows or brush at all.

Harkness tries to set himself up in a groove, but he's allergic to some of the spores around here and just cant stop sneezing.

His eyes are watery and just a little blurred the whole time he's on watch.

The group takes on watches, while the others sleep, Using whatever brush you can find to hide.

The first watch goes by pretty slowly, with nothing happening in the slightest.

Vraxiss Watch goes by fairly easily and quietly, only hearing the occassional sound of wolf howls and yelps.

Harkness watch goes by , sneezing from the spores, eye's watery all seem to just make it move all the slower

Wyx and Sharra:

Wyx and Sharra with some careful perception and hiding manages to location a potential danger. In a nearby perch, theirs an odd Ray-like creature with a toothy maw and leers with glaring red eyes. Behind it whips a menacing tail of segmented bone.

It doesn't seem to have noticed the group, or maybe it doesn't care. it's eating a rather large wolf.

You both see that wolves are fairly common in this area, but thanks to your proximity to this odd flying predator they're avoiding your camp

The next day comes about and the group gets on the road to travel after a quick breakfast, the Cave your looking for is fairly easy to find, however getting inside may prove to be a different matter...

The outside has an odd moss and fungus growing in large patches. You see there are packs of wolves patrolling the area, freely stepping in the patches of moss.

Knowledge nature check to identify the foliage, or try to figure out anything further about these wolves or maybe other beasts that might be about. checks of any kind are allowed as long as you can tell me what's it for or justify it

In general with how i run knowledge checks, roll above a ten and you'll get something. the better you roll, the more i add. that's why i don't pre-write them like other games. That said let me give you your check below

You know that fungus usually grow in hot humid places, unusual with the tepid nature of the Underland. This Fungus is a common poisonous variety called Goblin's wort, known for it's slimy outer coating and greenish color. the wolves are likely used to it, it should only be effective in you travel in it's moss.
