Saassraa nods thoughtfully and pulls a rope from her pack. "Well though, Legionnaire. I will float on the wood with the rope tied to the armor and attempt to navigate through the tunnel. If you feel three sharp tugs on the rope, then I have succeeded and you may pull the armor back up for the next to float through. The last one through bring the armor and the rope." She ties her rope to the armor, hands it to Wyxar, then gets into the water, ready to float through with the large wooden armor to keep her from sinking.

When the party doesn't have swim... If this were my Ruins of Azlant game, half the party would be explaining they have a swim speed right now.

I think most of us just have the Kobold paddle going on. But yeah sneaky players trying not to die is always a thing.

Wyxar will unbuckle the wooden armor and once that is done place the pieces in a pile for Saassraa to use.

Saassraa nods. "I'll protect the units resources. You might have to pull hard to bring it back but I don't recommend pulling too hard." She then pulls the armor into the water and holds on and begins navigating herself and the armor down the tunnel.

ARcana:

The burn is related to the magic mixing with the mushroom spores. it actually reminds you of several beneficial Tribal Sacred tattoo's though it's incomplete and thus useless unless finished.

The group manages to make it through the water logged tunnel easier than expect, some small fish swim around the group.Turns out the Water is easier to navigate than the group expected, though Wyx has some trouble keeping Woodrot under control, turns out some things just don't like water.

as the tunnel goes on you get to a lightless black tunnel, as your vision switches from color to the black and white of your natural underground vision.

The cave system before you smells like fetid meat, underfoot slippery damp moss and much bigger Goblin wart, you see fresh animal carcasses among the rotted meat and unfamiliar bones.

The cave continues To the left, Right and forward.

Left seems to be where the fetid rotten smells are coming from.

The patches of Goblin wart get bigger to the Right

And Forward continues quite a ways, beyond your darkvision

The Cave is considered difficult terrain due to the slippery and bumpy nature.

Everyone roll Fortitude saves, and the Mushrooms count as difficult terrain

The group continues, Harkness doesn't see much in the black and white detail of his darkvision. You all feel the sticky slime rub against you, the stench vaguely like swamp gas. The hall way isn't that long but ends is a spherical room of Goblin wart growing all over, on a cliff at the far end you all spot a familiar patch of Ironbloom.

Wyx:

Wyx can tell the way out of the cave is the way north/ forward as he can feel air flow from it. Judging by the look of things amidst the fungal growths he can see tracks from something not beast or humanoid. it's hard to tell what it is.

Overcome by the sheer stank of the smell you are sickened until you leave the mushroom patches and can take time to wash it off yourself. Which will require water.

The character takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.

The Group reaches the spherical room and can see the patches of Ironbloom on the far cliff, About 40 feet away through the difficult terrain. with a cursory glance all the party see's is large patches of gooey mushrooms and darkness.

The cliff is about 20 feet up and would require climbing or some other method of getting up.

As you both stalk across the ceiling and walls the group is beset by what seems to be humanoid mushroom, with bright green and purple polka dot tops, gangly tentacle like arms and limbs. they're covered the in the now familiar fungal slime the group has seen frequently now. They seem highly territorial and aggressive

Vraxiss waves a hand, speaking a few words filled with arcane power and a shield of shimmering force appears hovering next to him. He then steps up brandishing his dueling dagger, with lighting crackling in his other hand.

Casts shield (AC now 22), move to stand between an enemy and the group, but he does not engage. He shouldn't be adjacent to an enemy.

Saassraa steps forward and fires at the mushroom man on the ceiling, reloading rapidly.

the two mushroom men on the ground slowly lurch forward and about 5 feet away from Vraxiss they lash out with long tendril like appendages. One goes to whip him but Saassraa's blast shoots off one of his tendrils causing it to limply thrash onto the ground, the mushroom man is still up. The second mushroom man lashes out but it's tendril hits Vraxiss's barrier.

Two attacks against Vraxiss, both miss thanks to your shield spell. The third Mushroom man Lashes out against Wxy and Woodrot, the thin tentacle smacks against Woodrot. Woodrot takes 5 points of bludgeoning damage as the tentacle hits him.

Sharra'es runs from ther rear of the line and attempts to dive through the whipping tentacles to land a punch on the core of the attacking fungus.

The doctor shows some teeth as he reaches into a sleeve and whips out a hard to see, pointed object at the mushroom creature in front of him and Wyxar.

After a damage summary, yes

The echoing gun blast inside the relatively small cavern causes quite the ear ache for several inside, namely Wyx and Woodrot, both of whom miss their attack on the spindly mushroom creature. However the bullet pierces true.

The doctor tosses a flask of sickly green liquid which begins melting through the hide of the of the mushrooms outer coating. causing it to shriek and fall to the ground below.

Sharra 'es connects on the other Mushroom man with a rather limp punch.

Yeah, it would be a fall damage situation. i'd need an acrobatics check to see if you can mitigate some damage, or fly if you're a winged Kobold

Again Saassraa's gun shot echoes through the chamber, connecting with Mushroom man that Sharra'es is fighting. The shot works wonders blasting a hole in the plant like flesh of the creature, The punches however seem to be doing very little.

The Mushroom man seeming intelligent enough is dissuaded from attacking Vraxiss and his impenetrable defenses, instead aiming for Sharra'es, It lashes out with it's tendrils but you manage to deflect and dodge his attacks.

The other untouched Mushroom man however connects with a single strike to your back. 4 points of bludgeoning damage

Now that she has their attention, and also seeing that her punches aren't having much effect, sharra'es focuses on defense trying to find a pattern in the waving tendrils.
