Seeing the same thing, Sharra'es tries to blend in with the wall while moving towards the shapes she saw slithering away.

As the group walks carefully forward into the room, knowing now that enemies await in the darkness. you all see a sizable alcove where you see a human sized Basilisk, with the other three remaining younger basilisk, one still injured. The alcove has chunks of meat and rubble of small animals, and old bones. Beyond the serpent, a long hallway going at an upward incline. the rooms floor is surprisingly smooth in the area, like worked stone bricks though most detail is hard to see underneath the moss and plant growth that covers the room.

good perception checks prevented the snakes surprise attack, theyre roughly 55 ft away, assuming the group got close enough to see them, then drew weapons

Harkness splash downs the previously injured Basilisk and catches the larger snake. Burning it's rather tough looking scales.
One Baby basilisk Slithers toward Sharra, closing the distance. it makes a snap at her catching a rock as it misses, clearly only used to catching tiny critters. it hisses and gazes at you.
behind it the last baby basilisk closes the distance and makes a bite at Sharra to assist it's sibling, it also misses due to Sharra's defense.
Make two a dc 13 Fortitude
the larger snake moves forward, closing the distance and holding it's form up, hissing at Vraxiss as though it seems insulted for some reason. But is in front of Harkness who just struck it it uses both it's actions to move

Having no real interest in getting any closer Qua will make sure she has plenty of meat shields between her (but not in the line of Fire because ranged penalties are bad) and the serpents before firing at the small snake that Qua decides is closest to being dead.

Between Harkness and Vraxiss the injured Basilisk is Sliced and cooked rather quickly until it's sizzling snake steak. However one remains and casts it's gaze at Sharra and Harkness
Fort saves from the both of you. it's also going to bite but the save could change the result so i'll post that after.
The mother snake peers down at the Doctor and lets out a hiss before curling its large form around him and squeezing tightly, attempting to crush his bones. Rolled a 4 plus a 9 to grapple means she barely misses

The Snake seems to shake off the magic quite easily Nat 20 .
It backs away, grabs one of the dead basilisk corpses and consumes it whole. as it does, its few injuries seem to heal, it's scales take on a deep purple shade, it lets out a loud hiss and a voice speaks in your minds
RUINERS, DESTROYERS. I shall consume your bodies as well the snake seems to not act further but is staring you all down.

the giant snake like creature, takes a couple hits from Harkness and Sharra, it's form seems sturdier now, harder to pierce for some reason but the attacks do connect and do damage. the creature dodges Vraxis attack and among all the chaos Qua's attack misses.
it Retaliates by bringing it's head up and back, flaring its hood and breathing a thick gross acidic mist at... Qua Roll a Reflex save, .
Afterwards it tunnels underground Everyone in melee gets an AOO

Qua manages to dodge a maajority of the Acid only taking 4 damage.
As the snake creature is retreating underground to reposition strikes from the party manage to stop it, the creatures large body going limp half in the ground, half out. the room is quiet now aside from the sound of water, the only path ahead being behind the snakes nest, a tunnel heading upward. the room itself seems empty aside from rubble, bones and stones.

Breathing heavily, Sharra stretches her arms and legs trying to get them to move normally. "I guess we should check the net to make sure there aren't any more surprises. We don't want any more of these popping up."

Seeing no threats and no surprises, Sharra'es starts slowly making her way back to the pack animals. "I hope feeling returns to my limbs soon. It's going to be slow going if not."
I think it was indicated that the condition was temporary but it would last at least the fight. A heal check could be made to work out out though.

Qua, in her excitement tears apart the larger snake corpse ruining even the meat that could have been retrieved. that was the large snake corpse, there are still 3 Basilisk corpses that can be tried if anyone wants.

at the bottom of the nest, Harkness finds about 100 platinum coins, and a few other items give me a Percentile roll, If you share this with the others, they can make one too
