We might at least be able to rig an unused building with Mage's sanctum and some other wards, so we can have some privacy and security. If Tomaru can consecrate it, that'd be good, too.
It'll be home away from Castle Lym.

Looks like E or F is walled. Maybe an area where guards might be.
E (and F) is a massive fortress complex that guards the road into the city.
Keep in mind that many of these structures are multiple stories high. You can see the breadth of the city because where you are is elevated from the rest of the valley.
Humanois-sized structures are closest to where you are. ('G' and the Artisan District. As you pass H into the Jotunburg district, the buildings become giant-sized.
The face of Mhar Massif is carved in Karzoug's likeness (there's a picture on the map.) That mountain is all the way to the north end, past the city itself. It looks down upon the whole valley. That is your ultimate goal.
Or doom.
Hard to say at this point. 8)

Finding a base within the Artisan District makes sense to me, since it’s close to the giant areas and far enough from the big fortress at the gate.
Why is it the term “Entertainment District” gives me a bad feeling?
We should have an evac plan, as in who teleports with whom, and to an agreed upon point within the “boundary”.

I don't think we will be able to plan who with who, since in the heat of combat it may be difficult to stay with that plan. I would say Tomaru takes whoever he can, and then Everon can pick up the rest since he can move quickly wherever he needs to with his constant flight.
Also, I think I may possibly speak for all of us when I say "I don't even know where to begin". Perhaps an idea of what options we may have?

First up is to find an abandoned building to be a base, somewhere where a group of normal-sized folk with a stone giant wouldn’t be too conspicuous. Then I think we need to just blend in and get a feel for the heartbeat of the city, gather information about the different factions at play, find out who some of these lieutenants are and where.

Tomaru |

Of course we need to find a base. While we explore, we should also designate two or three other locations as backups and meeting places to keep our main base as secure as possible.

While this thread is still active, I'm going to apologize for just disappearing without a word.
I didn't catch COVID, nor did any of my loved ones. Still, the pandemic and other world events have been piling on stress and strain. I got to a point where I just ... couldn't. I couldn't find any energy in myself to commit to gaming. And the longer I waited to say something, the more ashamed I felt of not saying something.
I'm sorry. You guys were a great party to game with, but I feel the past two years have been like staggering from one mini-collapse to another, and struggling to keep moving. I'm doing better now, but that clearly hasn't done this campaign any good.

Hey, no worries, Aebliss. I TOTALLY understand, trust me. There are definitely times where it becomes a struggle on here for whatever reason. Absolutely get it.
And this was a heck of a game. A solid group all around. And I'd have to agree with Nazard. We definitely were a "deer in headlights" when it comes to the city. I sure as heck had no idea what to do. NONE of us have stealth and I just flat out didn't know how we were going to blend in.
I just hope OG is okay. Last time he missed this kind of time he had a stroke. I believe that's what it was anyway. It was either that or a heart attack. Regardless, it was life threatening no matter how you look at it and I hope that wasn't the case.
And for the record, it's only going to be active until March 20th. Then it will automatically go inactive. So a little over a month. It's always a three month wait from the last gameplay post. It was only 1 week from going inactive until CampinCarl posted in the gameplay. (For the record, this is not a complaint, simply stating the facts).
Anyway, maybe at some point down the road we can pick this up again, who knows. But if not, this is definitely one of my most memorable games. I always felt this was a "bookworthy" type game. :)
